Nice view

Location is good. 15 mins by walk to center. Parking is in inside of the hotel which is great and safe. Kindly stuff

Nice service, but not the ideal place

It was very clean, smelled great, all the workers are very nice and professional, the location is exceptional, 7 min from the train station, very convenient. Also They have amazing terrace!

Very uncomfortable beds and pillows; probably orthopedic, but I slept very bad with those Other guests were nice, but still you could hear every little moan of lovers as if it was happening in your bed Poor breakfasts, no vegetables, no bacon/meat (but lots of fruits though) The vibe of the clinic or some sort of student dormitory the lift works strangely, had to catch it up to 10 min

Excellent value for money and one of the nicest no fuss hotels we’ve ever stayed in.

Excellent value for money. Rooftop terrace is amazing for views and relaxing outside. Rooms have wonderfully high ceilings, they are neat and nicely decorated, everything you need is there. Location is great with easy walk to train station and the old centre. City offers frescoes, piazzas, basilicas and more. In Padua you mix mostly with Italians, it feels authentic.

There is nothing we didn’t like about this hotel, it’s a rare find.

You get what you pay for

The room was spacious and clean.

Our room was described as having a balcony with city views, which we didn't get. Whilst it was spacious and relatively clean, the flooring was poorly installed (floating floorboards) and we found a piece of scrap paper in our bed. The kettle didn't work and the only power point for it was on the bedside table. There was no fridge in the room but there was a communal kitchen down the hall. I suppose you get what you pay for but from the description given of our room, I was disappointed.

Simple and well located. You get what you pay for, it is a dorm-style facility with everything you need and nothing you don't. Breakfast is adequate and the town is lovely and not super-touristy.

Comfortable and affordable

Breakfast was cheap (€5 per day) and had a good selection of food. Particularly hot croissants, coffee, juice, fruit. Staff were nice, and some spoke English well enough to not need Google Translate to communicate. Mini fridge was a nice touch for cold water every day in the extra hot summer.

Shower stall was very cramped. Laundry was too expensive (€5 for washer and €5 for dryer), and it would be better if we could pay at the laundry and sign a log rather than talk to reception who is not available at late night. Dryer didn't finish drying my clothes after 3 hours even.

Very good location, clean room, friendly staff.

The location was excellent, just a few hundred metres from the historical centre. There are some cafés within 100 metres, so we preferred having breakfast in one of them, instead of the property. The room was clean and quite large, the beds were comfortable. We had to use a key with chip to enter the building, use the elevator, which gave a feeling of security.

On the double bed there was just a large cover, what I had to share with my son, so we were stealing it from each other during the night. Separate sheets would have been better.

A tiny bit quirky but a nice place to stay

Great location between railway station and centre. Fantastic communal balcony with lots of seating where you can take up your own drinks. Whole place had a feel of a pension rather than formal hotel.

No toilets near reception, balcony or breakfast room (apart from bathroom in own room). Difficult to find entrance, but will know for next time.

Really old place

We got in the beginning another room as the one we booked and it was smelling really bad in the toilet and in the wardrobe. In the room were flying already mosquitos, so we asked to get the room we booked. The staff helped us and gave us the room we booked, but still the difference wasn't that much. We were glad that there weren't any mosquitos though. The hotel is really old as well as the furniture.

A lovely place to stay in the city of Padua

So this establishment occupies the top two floors of a five story building. There are two prominent wooden doors that you enter through and the security is tight on them, with communication with reception through an intercom or a key fob that activates. We booked car parking space as well and this is accomplished on the inside courtyard, with good levels of security. There is some free roadside parking but when we looked all the spaces were taken. There are also some severe 'rules' applied to the rooms but they also have facilities for guests to use. There is a breakfast room where you can eat your own food (they do offer breakfast at an additional cost) as your not allowed to consume food in your room. There is also a kitchen available that can be used by guests between 12:30 and 22:30 but it can be a distance from your room. On the top floor is the balcony that you can see in the locations pictures and this is shaded in the evening and a very comfortable place to relax or chat with other guests. There are some vending machines for coffee or soft drinks and many tables and comfy seats. Room was comfortable and the air conditioning was welcome. Bed was comfortable but apart from sleeping we did not spend that much time in the room. Our view was out into the inner courtyard and so wasn't a great view but the window had electronic shutters and so we could control the sunlight and heat of the room. Reception was 'manned' until about 8pm in the evening but after this there was a person available if an emergency arose and staff were available via the phone, if needed. We enjoyed our stay and the Casa is located about a 15 minute walk from anywhere else, about 10 minutes from the train/tram stations and there are plenty restaurants in the surrounding area.

Once inside the courtyard you gain access to reception via a lift. There are stairs but they are emergency exits only and so if the lift is busy (say in the morning when other guests are leaving) then you can end up waiting a long time for it to arrive. The other floors use the lift as well and so it can get busy at times.
