Great stay in the heart of the city centre

The hotel is located in the heart of the city center, right on Piazza dei Signori - a beautiful area that truly couldn’t be more central. The room was small but very cozy and spotlessly clean. The owner was superkind, we are especially grateful for the early check-in and for helping us carry our luggage up the stairs.

The shower is small and positioned next to the toilet, which may feel a bit tight.

A stylish place with a branded coffee machine that makes a very delicious coffee for cozy mornings

A great place in the very heart of Padova! Beautiful design and a very cozy bed. A bit noisy in the evenings as the windows are facing the lively place but it was expected at such a location. Very responsive owners. I do recommend this place!

Noisy in the evenings and Sunday morning when there is a market at la plaza. But it was anticipated knowing the location. No elevator, so people with a limited mobility can't take rooms at higher floors. But for business travellers or couples it's a perfect solution

Good location, nice host and clean but noisy room

The room is spacious and clean. So is the bathroom. Paolo was a helpful host who replied to our questions quickly. He also provides breakfast, which is already in the room when you arrive. It includes croissant and other sweet pastries, yogurt, juice, and tea/coffee. The wi-fi in the room works great. The location is superb! It is very easy to walk to all the main destinations and there are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. Next to the place is a plaza that becomes really popular in the evenings.

To our disappointment, the location is very noisy. We stayed in the top-floor room facing the plaza, and the noise from the plaza can be clearly heard from the room even when the windows are closed. In the evening it is mostly people talking and laughing. During the night you can hear all the clinking and banging when they clean the tables. In the morning cars, trucks and garbage trucks are revving and beeping, and around seven the church starts banging the bell. Otherwise the place is good, but not having a proper sleep reduces the score.

Location, location, location

The location of the townhouse is amazing, off the charts. Our host Paolo was so helpful, he made us feel welcome and stayed in communication to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room was clean, cozy and comfortable and perched right over Piazza Signori. Incredible… we could be down in it or watch from above. Right across the square is the best gelato I have ever had… gelato BEPI, it’s the place with the long line.We loved everything about our stay.

I couldn’t figure out the coffee machine. In the end it worked out because we found a delightful cafe down the piazza for our morning cappuccino.

Great host, great location, great fun.

The location is incredible. Situated right above Piazza Signori, we had a Birds Eye view of all the fun. We could join in or just people watch for a while. Also the best gelato is right across the square, gelato BEPI…it’s the one with the long line. Great food EVERYWHERE and so much to see and do. Our room was lovely, well appointed, clean and cozy.

I couldn’t figure out the coffee machine, but it gave us an excuse to wander and find one of many cafes, so not really a problem.

Amazing location! Couldn’t have asked for a more central place to stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. The air conditioning was very useful and made for a comfortable night sleep.

Sophistication in heart of Padua

Great position right in the heart of Padua above a busy square. We were there over a weekend so drinks and dinner by night, markets by day. Shutters, double glazed windows and curtains cut most of the noise but take some earplugs to be sure. Very helpful host Paolo, very nice interior and very clean and comfortable with coffee and baked goods supplied each day.

Great place but an absentee landlord

The property definitely met our expectations .It’s a lovely clean comfortable place and in an excellent location. It does include breakfast which consists of juice yogurt and breads which was fair but not great.

Very very concerned management was not there on arrival and if it hadn’t been for the kindness of the business next door we would have not been able to access the property . The manager or owner said he’d be there at the allotted time but was no where to be found. Please to the owner not everyone has a phone and ours was not working.If you are not available email your guests before hand with your code to get in don’t assume that people on arrival can contact you.It is prudent for you to be there when you say you are.

Lovely property in the heart of Padova

A really nice property in a wonderful location. Rooms were clean, location was easy to find and the manager and housekeeping staff were warm and welcoming. View of the plaza below was unbelievable and it was a real treat to watch the local life move past outside the huge windows. Being above a main busy plaza did lead to some extra noize one of the nights so if you expect silence after 10pm this might not be the best choice for you. We loved being in the middle of it all. Bathroom was nice with a huge sink and excellent AC. Included breakfast is packaged pastry and a Nespresso type machine in the room. Fine for us but not any kind of full service american style breakfast. No elevator and our room was on one of the upper floors. Again fine for us, but might be a big challenge for anyone who can't do stairs. Entrance was off the main square with a simple door and code and was not set up as a true hotel with 24/7 staff on site.

Would have liked an elevator but this is way overshadowed by staying in an awesome historic building in the center of an incredible historic city.

Great location in the heart of the Piazza. Within easy walking distance of everything the old town had to offer. Accommodation was clean, tidy and reasonably well appointed.

The top room in the house is not for the faint hearted......many steep stairs! "Breakfast included" was a selection of cakes wrapped in plastic and a coffee machine. I should have read the reviews before I booked as others have mentioned this. No view of the square from the room, just next door. The boiler in the bathroom fired intermittently all night, which was irritating. Nothing major but lots of small things made this stay poor value for money as it is expensive. I would not recommend.

Only interested in the city tax.

I thought I would like the location: the Piazza Maggiore is a beautiful piazza right at the centre of town. However, as my room ('with city view') was located at the back of the building and there are no windows at the reception area, the only way I could enjoy the piazza was by way of the noise.

- Breakfast was supposed to be included, but is was not. There is tea/coffee, though. - The 'city view' means that you will look out onto the opposite wall. - There is no one around to help you either during check-in or during your stay. The only contact I had with the owner was his reminder that I shouldn't forget the city tax.

AMAZING LOCATION, BEAUTIFUL ROOMS, AWESOME STAFF!!!

The room was chic, comfortable, and pretty. The location is amazing! Right on the square next to the clock tower! There is a permanent market with fresh meats, fish, fruits,vegetables, pastas, sweets, breads, and cheeses! There was an outside market with low-priced clothing, ceramics, leather goods, etc. In the squares in front of the hotel and in the adjoining next plazas the three days we were there. Owner Paolo and Olga were so helpful and kind! They went out of their way to help us. We will definitely go there again!!!!! Karla Peska

Overall it was enchanting building due to its history. The room a was clean and in excellent condition. We had an excellent view of the square. If you public transportation instead of using your own vehicle you're better off.

You definitely need a smartphone with Italian service to find the townhouse and then the parking lot. It isn't well marked, we had to ask a taxi driver where the entrance was. Then we had to call the manager to get the code to enter. We never met management, so after walking up a flight of stairs we found our room key and a business card for the parking lot. We then dragged our suitcases up to the fourth floor. There was no valet, so we then set off to find the parking garage. Google map takes you to the backside of the garage, you'll have to find your way to the entrance. When it said breakfast included, we thought there would be a dining area. Instead they leave croissants, juice, and a coffee machine we never did find out how to use. Don't pay for breakfast, just walk to a local coffee shop. We had to pay the garage 20 Euros a day for parking, but I thought we had that added already to room charge. Finally, since the townhouse is on the square, the noise from people partying each night until 2:00 AM was very loud. Street cleaning starts at 6:00 AM.
