The shower was a bit small

The location was ideal and we was able to park our car in the car park at the back of the property which is on a first come for served basis. The property is an old traditional property which is outdated in decor but is clean. The breakfast was lovely, fresh and hot. The staff were on the ball and very prompt in providing breakfast and a lovely much needed morning brew. The staff and owner David are extremely polite, gracious and friendly. David is a wealth of information about the area and of Edinburgh itself. Down in Leith harbour we had a meal at the pub. A lovely walk from the townhouse. Easy transport to city centre - Princes Street. Number 11 bus. Don’t forget to ask for a day ticket! The bus stop is literally across the road from the townhouse and takes 20 minutes to city centre.

Maybe extra pillows as there is only two on the bed and a blanket as it did get a little cold during the night.

This B and B is wonderful if you are looking for convenience and cleanliness! The breakfast choice is wide and suits all tastes. The rooms are simple but the bedding is high quality and super clean. One of the best things for us was the convenience of the number 11 bus into the city centre! The bus stop is directly across the road. David, the host, was friendly and very accommodating. We would definitely go back again.
