    Edinburgh House Hotel was great for a weekend away with my daughter. Location - 30-40 minute walk to Royal Yacht Britannia, short bus ride (bus stop opposite) to Princes Street, 30 minute walk (downhill) back. Beds very comfortable, shower great, plenty of towels. Room size good - high ceilings helped in the heatwave. Tea/coffee making facilities and large TV a bonus. I only needed to speak to one member of staff - to check in. Very polite. Room serviced daily. We spent most of our stay out and about in Edinburgh. Would use this accommodation again as a base for sight-seeing if I returned.

    The bed was quite firm but surprisingly comfortable, I slept well even in a single bed. Staff were helpful and friendly.
