The location is not directly in the city centre but i am very happy to do the 20minutes walk and to be in a residential area

I really enjoyed the room, it was very clean on a daily basis and it was really quiet. I enjoyed the shower, it had great pressure. Shirley was a fantastic host, who provided lots of tips for around Edinburgh and she also provided snack in the room on a daily basis. The Scottish Whiskey was also a very nice touch
This is very subjective, but I didn't really care for the bed its self. I have slept on much worse but I also have slept on better beds. It was definitely the least comfortable of the three beds I slept on during my vacation. I would have liked a firmer mattress that had a little more padding. Again though, mattresses are really a subjective thing, and something that I might find comfortable, someone else would find uncomfortable, so don't let this deter you from staying here.
