Fantastic home

The property was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and enough plates, cups and glasses Beds were comfortable and linens & towels we’re a very good quality Location was opposite a bus route Eddie the owner was easily contactable and very friendly Eddie even dropped us off at the train station early in the morning .. which we were very thankful for. 2 bathroom and 2 toilets were great and the lounge was enough for 4 people to sit on comfortably

The stairs to the bedrooms are very steep to bedroom 1 and bedroom 2&3

Pleased everyone

The house was as described with plenty of room for a family with teenagers. It was clean and very comfortable with a lovely outside seating area where you can watch the boats go past on the canal. All the necessities for cooking for the family are provided and just a short walk from a small supermarket with fresh produce and tasty pre prepared meals if you don't fancy cooking from scratch. There is a small TV with enough channels to keep you up to date with current affairs. The walk into Bruges is pleasant, and you'll find lots of food, waffle, and chocolate vendors! And, of course, plenty of culture. Our host was very helpful and provided detailed information before our departure and was on hand for questions throughout our stay.

There is a little traffic noise in the mornings that might wake the lighter sleeper. The second staircase is quite steep and the hand rail was a good addition.

Great location close the bus stop to/from the city (max. 5 mins. by bus), quiet place, the backyard with outside sitting just next to water canal. All house very clean and comfortable. Communication with the owner perfect. Some tee and coffee available which is a benefit for mornings/evenings (if forgot to buy).

This is not a mistake or error, just be aware it is just a typical belgian style of house, meaning - pretty narrow. And thus while downstairs is great place for living, dining and cooking, any use of bedroom/s means to use relatively steep and narrow staircase - either to 1st or even 2nd floor. Definitely manageble, just take into consideration if you are not in good mobility condition.

Nice, peaceful, clean.

Everything was perfect. Host have think everything we can need. It was nice welcome to have wine, some chips etc. Also, we requested they open the heater before we arrive. They did it. Appreciate it. Also Brugges/Brussels maps and activity list they put the table were very useful. Thanks to them we went some different places which didnt exist in our list. Thank you so much for everything. We really loved Brugge and we will definitely come here again.

Just concern is about property location. It wasnt definetly close to city to 20 mins by walk. The google maps was showing 36 mins to the Brugge center by walk. Since we rented a car, it wasnt problem for us but finding car park in the city center was really difficult especially if you dont want to pay money for park. Definetly house has a free parking in front of the property and it was also perfect. Also, I wanna mention about stairs. Stairs are really steep and it is dangerous to move down even if you are young. I was about to fall. Although, we loved this property and definitely we can choose it again. (not my mother and my aunt, they have really forced to use stairs) Only suggestion: It would better if host keep some bicycles to the propert in order to reach center without car easly. Bacause it's not short reach by walk.

Clean and cozy home in walking distance to the city center

Lovely small house, just 1,5 km outside of Bruges. It's an easy 20 mins walk alongside the canal to the center of Bruges. The house offered everything we possibly needed to feel cozy and home. There's a big supermarket (Lidl) just a 3 minutes drive away. Parking right in front of the house is easy and so comfortable. The house was spotless clean and we loved the beds - especially the fresh smell of the duvet covers ;-). Thank you so much, Elke, for letting us stay in your lovely home...we'll definitely come back.

There's a noisy street in front of the house and you'll hear the traffic. Wasn't a big issue for us as we got used to it over time or used earplugs ;-) The terrace on the back of the house with a lovely view towards the canal is nice, but it would be even nicer with a small roof or so. It was warm outside, but sometimes raining why we couldn't sit outside. Even a simple sun sail would help to be able to enjoy fresh air while it's raining.

We had a fabulous stay at this apartment which was very well appointed with some nice touches including books and games.

The property was excellent, perfect for our needs. Located close to the bus stop and a supermarket Elke was very hospitable, making us feel very welcome.

The only thing missing was laundry facilities.

Beautiful house with a canal in your backyard!

Great house with three floors and toilets on each floor. Lovely canal directly in front of the back entrance. The bolcony directly opens into the canal. Efficient communication with the hosts Bus connection almost in front of the house.

Steep stairs. Not suitable for the elderly. Location a little away from the city. A walk will take you 30 mins. Busy road with bright street lights directly in front of the bedroom on the first floor

A lovely home, very comfortable and within walking distance of the city.

We stopped for a couple of nights on the way back from Netherlands to the UK. The house is on the outskirts of the city but we walked in along the canal which is very picturesque (about 25 minutes). The house itself was immaculately clean and very comfortable with parking right out side and a decent supermarket <10 minutes walk. Everything worked and there is a really lovely "terrace" where you can sit outside and watch the canal & water life go by. Bruges of course is fantastic and there is so much to do.

The only issue we had was mosquitoes so make sure you take insect repellant and keep an eye out for them.

Great place to stay in Bruges where the hosts have thought of everything!

The property is right on one of the canals entering Bruges. It is beautiful to sit out on the patio and enjoy the view! Kitchen is well appointed. Rooms and bathrooms are very well decorated. It's really a fantastic home. They have thought of everything from bathroom toiletries to an easy single-serve coffee maker. Although not in the city center, it is still very easy to get into town. An Aldi supermarket is a 10-minute walk away. Overall, a great place to stay for our family.

It does get a little warm in the bedrooms even with the windows open, so a fan would help. And it would be nice to have a washer/dryer on site. But, those are being nit picky - the place is great!

home away from home with everything you could need for a comfortable stay

Fully equipped house - really everything you could possibly need. Really clean and comfortable. Lovely small terrace facing the cancel and we lived watching the boats pass and walking along the pathways. The master bathroom is definitely the jewell of the house - we all fought over who was having a bath first to enjoy the beautiful green view over the canal. Host was very accommodating (baby bed set up and high chair ready) and was fast in response to questions.

With small children it's a bit far to walk into the centre and back, however we got taxi's in and walked back most days which was perfect.

Great house with great location

We really enjoyed staying in this house, owners are super kind and friendly, house has a great bathroom, we enjoyed walking just in the back side of the house where it links you directly with walking path, by the canal.. We also enjoyed breakfast in the teras, everything was great, including location, very close to Brugge center, and other places like Knokke, half an hour drive only. We would definitely come again..

Tutto perfetto, attenzione solo a chi ha problemi di deambulazione.

Tutto corrispondente alla descrizione: appartamento molto pulito e molto bello, con una piccola corte con un tavolino dove poter mangiare e la vista sul canale navigabile, staff gentile e disponibile, parcheggio davanti alla porta e fermate del bus per la città a un paio di minuti a piedi. Il comodo supermercato poco più avanti è un valore aggiunto.

Solo un particolare a cui porre attenzione: per chi ha problemi di deambulazione, le camere sono sui piani superiori e per arrivarci ci sono delle scale molto ripide, e questo potrebbe essere un problema. Ma ciò non toglie nulla al valore di questo appartamento.

Ganz klare Empfehlung von uns!

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr sauber, modern, hell und freundlich ausgestattet und bietet alles, was wir benötigt haben sowie darüber hinaus. Wir sind zu fünft gereist und hatten ordentlich Platz (drei Schlafzimmer, gemütliche Couch, großer Esstisch, Kücheninsel mit Barhockern, Terrasse am Kanal, 2 Bäder, 3 Toiletten) Die Lage direkt am Kanal ist top und ca. 30 Min Fußweg vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Ferienhaus haben wir wie auf den Bildern vorgefunden!

Wir haben lange überlegt, können aber keine Punkte nennen, die uns nicht gefallen haben.

Maison d'exception

Maison exceptionnelle. La chambre parentale avec la salle de bain attenante est magnifique. La cuisine équipée dispose de tous les équipements dont on a besoin. Le salon est cosy et chaleureux. Les propriétaires sont pleins de petites attentions et sont très sympathiques et toujours aux petits soins. La maison est à 20mn à pieds du centre historique et dispose d'une terrasse avec vue sur le canal. On peut se garer facilement devant la maison. Nous recommandons vivement si vous voulez passer un séjour à Bruges.
