Location was great. Really friendly hosts very helpful. Well stock kitchen with everything you need for a self catering. Excellent that you are able to take your dogs too.

Great Little House

The house itself is really great, the location and view from the living room is brilliant. On site parking and easy access to the bus route (and therefore to Oban's ferry ports). There is a lot of "little thinking" that make the stay more comfortable.

There's not a lot of downsides. The only constructive criticism would be to include some pots of UHT milk, just to see visitors through until they can get their own milk. Otherwise everything is amazing.

Lovely, spacious home-from-home stay in Oban

It is very spacious, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The shower works well. It feels homey. There are books and puzzles and a TV if you stay for longer than 1 night. Safe off-street parking is available in a quiet suburb not too far from the city centre.

A wonderful getaway!

Beautiful and peaceful, well appointed furnishings. Skerryvore provided some basic cooking ingredients like spices and cooking oil. All the kitchen utensils and cookware one could need. We especially made good use of the desk to write letters to pen pals and the books and board games we found. We appreciated that the house was outfitted with charging capabilitily for electric cars. Lots to do in and around Oban.

The house is spacious. All facilities provided as advertised. The location is very near to town center. Quiet area.

The only setback was the heater that was preset and always turned-off during night time. Other than that, everything was good.

The bed was worn out and required a topper (provided) to make comfortable. Location is okay if you don’t mind walking a mile to town with uphill return.

A comfortable stay in a very quiet area.

The property is located in a very quiet cul de sac and has lovely views. The kitchen was very well equipped to do your own cooking. There was an excellent selection of games provided.

The property could be improved by having larger bath towels. The shower is powerful but the water comes out of the cubicle so there should be a towel provided to leave on the floor to keep the bath mat dry.

Great wee house in a quiet area.

The house was cozy and spacious with everything we needed for a wee family getaway. We didn't have any problems and the host answered any questions we had almost immediately.

Some of the decor is a little bit outdated (like the house is half way through being decorated) but nothing that stopped us from enjoying our stay.

Great booking for us on an overnight stop on the way to Iona. Would certainly reccommend.

Rooms were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. It was good to be self contained and there was plenty of room. It was good that we were able t book for a single night when some other accommodation that we looked at required a minimum 2 night stay

It was quite a long walk into Oban, so would have been easier to be a bit closer, but not a big problem for us. It would have been nice to see our hosts, just to say thank you for a lovely stay !

Spacious home just on outskirts of Oban, that has all the equipment you need. The house is located in very quiet area at the end of the street and the owners live next door if needed. Beautiful view from the living room.

good size dining/sitting room.

beds were very uncomfortable. spent 2 of 3 nights on the couch. my family also complained about the beds. Only one small towel per person. pots and pans were minimal and low quality. knives and other implements were not sharp at all. No courtesy welcome pack or milk or bread, which I experience with other holiday rents. pillows were old and flat. place looks well worn. Met the owners a few times, they never asked how things were and if we needed anything. Primary school right next to property, very noisy. No dishwasher either. Nice shower but flooded the floor every time we used it.

It was a little worn in places. Black mould in the bathroom on the ceiling. Work tops chipped in kitchen - kitchen curtains marked. Just quite tired looking really.
