Good location close to ferry, train station, bus station and harbour. Central Oban near shops and restaurants in a lively area.
Could have been somewhat cleaner, but 'acceptable'. There was no duvet cover for the duvet for the sofabed.

Exactly as pictured on booking. Location was great for my partner who came from the train from Glasgow as well as me coming from Iona and Mull. Nicely renovated apartment. Good use of the space. Great having a kitchen so we could bring back leftovers to reheat, and even cook a little. The clothes drying rack was a lifesaver as I had a week's worth of clothing I needed to wash and dry.
The apartment has excellent water pressure, which is a plus. However, there is also a very small sink in the bathroom and unless you are careful to only dribble out a little water, the stream gushes out and sprays all over.
I know this is a problem with all front load washing machines that don't get left a little open until they dry out, but while the washing machine is pretty new and nice, the gaskets are filled with mold which doesn't make you feel great about washing your clothing in there. (I leave mine open at home, but I get this is hard to do with a rental. Not sure if there is a good solution.)
There is this weird thing that happens in the living room, where you are sitting on the couch and suddenly it sounds like seagulls are in the room with you. There is a cool space behind the couch where they store a folding crib and I'm thinking that used to be a fireplace that isn't totally closed off, so seagulls sitting on top of the chimney get their cries funneled down. The first time it freaked me out, but I eventually got used to living among the gulls.

The location, v central. Appt was larger than expected esp the dining kitchen. Bathroom small but adequate & we appreciated the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner! Also liked having a full sized dressing table and dining table.
Sofa not v comfy & no “normal” TV (no problem for us but might be for some?) no heated towel rail so dried towels on drier in kitchen each day. Couldn’t work out heaters but luckily didn’t need them. Great to have washing machine- need to pull door VERY HARD to open!! Worst thing is parking, not owners fault but although free at night was 20p per 10 mins in day up to 2 hours max, after searching on internet found long stay car park 5mins walk away behind Tesco - £10 for 48 hrs approx. Amazing stay, thank you 😀
