Great hosts and lovely accommodation.

The hosts (Ken & Karen) were wonderfully welcoming and the the accommodation was very comfortable. Also, a great selection for breakfast in the morning. It is the 2nd time I have stayed with them and will definitely do so again.

Excellent value stay with a superb breakfast

The breakfast was delicious - well cooked, lots of it and nice ingredients. Nothing was too much hassle with tea and toast offered in copious amounts and served by Karen and Ken who are delightful!

This was my second visit to Clematis House and I will definitely return.

Karen and Ken are wonderful hosts, always friendly and welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is comfortable and the location perfect for anyone travelling by train.

I opted for one of the cheaper rooms, which turned out to be on the road side of the building. It wasn't noisy but I couldn't leave my window open at night during the recent very hot weather.

All that I needed

Great place, nice room, wonderful host, good price and good breakfast the only thing that stotgis place getting all tens is that it is a little tired around the edges. Bathroom board beginning to swell, tv didn’t work all it was replaced quickly. I’d definitely stay there again

Lovely Guesthouse - Perfect Hosts

Lovely host - Karen did everything possible to make me feel welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and a lot of thought had gone into the facilities. You can tell she cares about making everyone’s stay as nice as possible. The room was equipped with a fridge, a plentiful supply of teas and coffees and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfy and the shower good! The little travel sewing kit came in handy as I ripped my T-shirt whilst out during the day, so was able to repair it once back in my room. A home from home and a faultless stay. Thank you.

Loved the hosts; charming and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed was superbly comfy. The garden is lovely and the breakfast was really tasty. I’ll happily book again next time I’m in Cheltenham.

No dramas with the standard or location.. I walked, but there is a good bus service into town centre

Very friendly and helpful proprietors who made me very welcome. My room was more than satisfactory for my short stay which was predominantly spent away from the hotel.

I had to tweak the tv Ariel socket to get the reception , which seems trivial, but needs fixing.

Bed very lumpy and hot, Rustled when you moved in the bed. Discovered plastic on mattress, felt there were more appropriate mattress covers on the market. Bunching up of coverings on the mattress. Had a very poor sleep. Poor communication regarding breakfast, times and availability. I'm disabled, requiring use of stick, staircase very dark banister only half way up.. Bathroom mirror needed to be lowered we are not all 6foot tall!
