Relaxing and very comfortable.

The location and staff at the hotel went above and beyond. Location near to the promenade makes it easy to visit the beach and restaurants, but the hotel is quiet but well placed. The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Add the friendly staff and you have a perfect combination.

Amazing Hotel

Absolutely amazing location. You are right on the beach with stairs leading right to the boardwalk and beach. The staff were kind and happy to help us with any questions or problems we had. Breakfast was served down the stairs next to the boardwalk and beach and was varied and delicious. The owner came and warmly greeted us at breakfast and also personally checked us out when our stay was over. She was a very kind person and you can tell she takes great pride in making sure she has an amazing hotel. This was by far out favorite hotel we stayed at in our month of traveling different Albanian cities. We definitely will stay at this amazing hotel if ever in Saranda again.

Hotel was on the promenade. Room was very clean. Room was quiet at night and bed was very comfortable. Room was tastefully decorated and well stocked with bathroom essentials. Room had extremely large balcony with table, chairs, and umbrella. Beach lounge chairs and beach umbrella were provided for guests. Staff was very friendly, professional, and very helpful. The attached restaurant, Allegro Restaurant and Pizza, was very convenient, the food was very tasty and our waiter, Christian, was very attentive to our dining needs and made us feel very welcomed. The restaurant also had a wonderful view of the water, beach, and the entire promenade.

The view from the balcony was of the rooftop. Guest parking area was extremely small. One of the staff, Christian, was very helpful in assisting us to maneuver into a parking spot.

Excellent Hotel

Hotel is excellently located, on the beach with Manu restaurants. The staff and management were extremely helpful, and very attentive to guests needs. Felt very well taken care off.

Excellent stay in Sarandë!!! Extremely Recommend it.

We liked everything. It is a family business with a hotel and 3 restaurants. Eva and her brothers offer are extremely attentive service , are always there for the guests, with a smile and available to help with anything we needed, including park our car. Hotel is spotless, breakfast offering Albanian delicacies prepared by Eva and her team every morning. The waiters and receptionists are great as well. Very good value for money.

Stay away if you are allergic or asthmatic.

The property is fine, but what does it matter when you spend a horrible night because of their chemicals?

They use allergenic products to clean the room; if you have asthma or are allergic, you will spend the night coughing. I hope the management will consider this issue seriously, Also, there is an ongoing beep in the room, which is quite annoying.

Totally recommend

The perfect spot for your stay in Sarande. It's close to the boulevard, near to many restaurants and just 10 mins walk from the bus stop. The rooms were clean, well furnished. The AC was working properly, and the noise cancellation in the rooms was great, even though our room was looking to the boulevard. The breakfast was also delicious. Most importantly the staff was very kind, advising many places to visit. The hotel is also next to the public beach which was not that crowded and was very clean during our stay in June. The hotel also gave us an umbrella for the beach. Overall we left the hotel with very nice impressions and will be back for sure.

Wish we could have stayed longer

The location was excellent, right in the middle of Sarandë, and very close to the beach. Our favourite was the breakfast served outside on the terrace with an amazing view. Our trip was enhanced by one of the receptionists, Angela, who have gave us the best recommendations, tailored to us and exectly what we were after. Thank you, Angela, you made our trip memorable!

The hotel has a restaurant right underneath and sometimes the noise/music was loud if one wanted an early night.

Great location, lovely staff, shame about the breakfast

Location was great - right on the promenade and a minute away from the city beach, but also within easy reach of the bus station to get buses to places like Butrint, Gkirokaster and Berat. The staff were all lovely, as were the tortoises wandering around the garden! The views aren't great as the hotel is just one floor high and surrounded by trees, and if you get a side room (as we did) you're looking out onto the breakfast terrace, so have to keep curtains closed in the morning, but the rooms themselves are really nice. The staff gave us beach umbrellas and beach towels are provided.

Breakfast was disappointing. The space - a lovely terrace overlooking the sea - is great, but the actually food on offer is pretty poor.

This is the second time that we stayed at hotel Magllara. We loved it just as much as the first time. The hotel is small and quiet with beautiful rooms that are finished to a very high standard. The beds are very comfortable and the ensuite bathroom is excellent. The location is unbeatable, directly on the main promenade. The breakfast is continental with a good variety of options and is served on the terrace overlooking the beach. Honestly love this hotel and would highly recommend it!!
