If you don’t care about bed quality or a clean shower, stay here because the location was very central.

Very central location and close to main sites of Salzburg. Self check in process was very simple.

While there were some positive aspects to our stay including the central location, there were a few areas that could use improvement. The bed was not very comfortable, which made sleeping difficult for us. We also felt the cleanliness of the room could have been better, as it didn’t seem as fresh as expected. Additionally, the towels provided were quite worn, very small (hand towel size) and could be upgraded.

"We spent two difficult nights, three people on a bunk bed, in a dirty, cramped space with poor cleaning. The bed was noisy, and there was the fear that it might fall apart at any moment. The only good thing was the location."

Bad communication, dirty room

I checked into a filthy room that had clearly not been cleaned like I was told it would be. The sheets were covered in dirt and blood stained. The trash was overflowing in the trash can in the room. The towels were wet and dirty. I tried multiple times through multiple different platforms to contact the host, Jasmin, and she did not respond until hours later. I had to find a new place to stay as I did not feel comfortable staying in a dirty room. Finally, the host said she would give us a refund since her cleaning ladies hadn’t come. We were understanding but since then she has not responded to our repeated messages and hasn’t provided the refund.

Great location but Bed lacks support

I've read plenty of reviews and then opted for the Private checkin room and here is what I confirm - 1. Locks were intact and ensured privacy 2. Everything was ready for our stay, no hiccups in checkin(Self checkin, didn't come across anyone during our three day stay) 3. Bathrooms were across the rooms(Though there were other guests in the Loft, the bathrooms were used only by us) 4. Hot running water at all times 5. Microwave, kettle and there was a washing machine too. 6. Location is a huge plus. It is literally in the center and great connectivity.

The bed goes in when you lie down. And when two people lie down, you would be in a huge dent. Bed creaks when you turn which is still manageable; but to not have the bed support, causing back and neck pain is a deal breaker. It is a bare minimum thing that people who come to stay expect. Me and my partner had sleepless nights. A word of caution - There is a perfumery downstairs and hence strong scents in the rooms. Might be troublesome for someone with allergy. Hope this feedback is well received and the bed support gets fixed.

Good minus the beds.

The location of the property was certainly its main feature! You can literally walk to all the highlights/bars/restaurants in Salzburg from there. Entering the property was also very clear and easy from the instructions received. It was also in terms of space perfect for our group of friends and I can imagine for a family.

Almost all the beds were broken, either the supports underneath or the bed slats. This was reported when we arrived but sadly we received no feedback. Small details like wine glasses would have been a nice feature and there was no option to recycle our waste. The apartment is not suitable for very tall people.

Uncomfortable Accommodation with a great location

The location was great, very convenient. Close to local bus stops, shopping, restaurants, major sites.

The host, Jasmine, did not communicate through the Booking.com app at all during the lead up to our stay or even upon first arrival. It was only when her dog started to sniff our room, and I said to her that she had not been responding to my questions, that she gave me her contact info through WhatsApp. The phone number listed with the generic "welcome" message was not her phone number, and the wifi name and password were also wrong in the generic "welcome" message. She also misinformed me about the city visitor tax. In all official Booking.com messages, she stated that the tax rate was 1,50€ per person per night. Then at 22:00 the night before we were to depart this apartment, she stated that the rate was actually 3,50€ per person per night. She never apologized for giving me incorrect information, and she blamed me for not looking up Salzburg business tax law to see for myself the rate change after May 1st. The pillow cases all had broken zippers, as did the quilt covers. No top sheets were provided, nor offered by the host upon arrival. The beds were sagging, and had no support. The shower drain for our floor was clogged, and the shower water regularly overflowed the shower floor barrier. There was no soap in the toilet room dispenser. This apartment rental is not accessible for persons with any physical disabilities. One has to be able walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to the room.

Dont Book this Location, you will hate it!

Well located in the center!

We booked the Loft (Entire Appartment). 1st Towels and stuff from who knows who inside the appartment, Washer machine loaded with stuff from who Knows, Shower with personal objects from who knows who?. The Images provided by the Booking site are very different how the facilities are now, either no Paper for the WC available!. No bed towels just a Blanket, towels for shower 40x60cm, not sure if the electrical connections meet the Standards, is a hole with 6 beds.

Perfect place for our family stay in Salzburg.

The location is fantastic. It was nice having enough space on the 3rd floor for the entire family to hang out. Good communication and directions for entry. It is a great value for the money!

It is a bit rustic. The shower head wouldn't stay in place, making it a bit awkward to shower.

Didn't meet any expectations

The key was not in place like I was told. It was described to me that the key would be placed the where I could see and additionally the door was wide open. Upon entering the room I noticed the washing machine still running. Most importantly the bed was unkempt and really dirty. I payed approximately 250€ a night plus another tax that I never encountered in any other country I visited. This place does not deserve the price, do not recommend.

Good

Location was good. It was nice to have a fridge, electric kettle and dishes.

Due to poor signage for the 2 rental rooms, several times during our reservation people mistakingly tried to enter our room. We sent several messages to the owner during our stay via booking.com but never heard back. For shorter people, the kitchen dishes are nearly inaccessible.

but if you have a car then its a nightmare which we went through. No parking space at all. atleast 500 meters from the room after the river. Also, be careful while moving in the room as you may hurt yourself.

Disappointing

The location was nice, as it was near several attractions as well as a couple of bus stops. It made getting around the city pretty easy.

The room was very short. I'm 6'3 and was physically unable to shower the length of my stay. The room was clean, but the low ceiling height was definitely a detractor. In addition, the mattresses were very thin, and those things in combination made our stay less than comfortable. The bathroom had a rather distinct odor I couldn't put my finger on, but was a little unpleasant. One of the windows was broken and had a hand-sized hole through the glass pane.

The bed was really uncomfortable; The towels were tiny and wore out; The city tax was supposedly 1.5 euros but in the room there was a bowl asking for 1.7 euros; The access wall to the room was a mess, since it is the laundry room andt very difficult to walk by;

Pleasant

The location is excellent, close to pretty much all attractions, and the host gave us all the details needed to reach the apartment swiftly by self-check-in. The bathroom and showers were really clean. Good for a short stay.

It was a bit challenging to reach the room with our heavy luggage up the stairs. The beds are not very comfortable, and there was a lot of noise downstairs during the night.
