Quality and economical place to stay in Salzburg.

Everything. This was the best accommodation we experienced in Europe. Exceptionally clean. Comfortable. Quiet. Good facilities. Great breakfast included. Helpful staff. Safe. Perfectly located for all attractions. Good restaurants close by. Access to public transport. I cannot fault this Accomodation and highly recommend it for a stay in Salzburg.

Stay at a historic and unique place in Salzburg

Very special place…an active seminary at an iconic building full of history and steps away from old town. Great restaurants just outside and around. Lovely and professional staff. Rooms are clean and simple, no frills but it’s not needed, the place complements everything else.

Great conversion of an old monastery

Great location, rooms were simple but had everything needed. Staff were lovely and there were plenty of breakfast choices.

The night-time noise from patrons exiting the restaurants/pub in the alley below was pretty bad; the complementary earplugs left beside the bed should’ve been a giveaway.

Good location and clean! Man at reception needs to change his attitude

Great location. Room was clean but it could do with an update. Perfect for exploring Salzburg or the surrounding areas

The man who checked me in was lovely and polite. But the following day I went to ask a simple question about housekeeping as every hotel as different polices and it was a different man I was dealing with and my simple question “Do the rooms get cleaned every day” seemed to annoy him. All he had to say was yes or no but instead huffed and shook his head and gave me a half answer like how dare I ask a question. It really put a bad start to my day and annoyed me and I wish I said something back to him instead of saying thank you and walking away. The breakfast wasn’t great often the fruit was gone bad and not fresh. Also needs to lower price for what you get. What I paid for 5 nights here was madness.

It's a perfect location, friendly staff. Rooms are simple, and plenty of room. We were there on s Sunday night, and the bar below was closed so we didn't have any noise. Nice christmas session decorations

A highlight of our trip! Our favorite place to stay in Salzburg!

The cleanliness and attractiveness of the entire monastery were exceptional. It was cheerfully decorated for Christmas and everything was immaculate. Surprising modern touches like a state of the art elevator and motion activated lighting in hallways added to the ambience. The charm and beauty of the building and furnishings were way above our expectations, and the extensive breakfast buffet was one of the nicest we've encountered anywhere! The room is very quiet and well appointed, the beds are comfy and the shower/bathroom is great! The location can't be beat! It's on the same square as the Mozart Residenz and top hotels, and it's an easy walk to Mirabelle Gardens and on across the pedestrian bridge to the beautiful medieval streets of Salzburg, the Christmas Markets, and the Castle. This is an incredible bargain, about 1/3 the price of the top hotels nearby! And best of all, the staff are so helpful and friendly. Overall a lovely and memorable experience.

We highly recommend this clean, quiet, centrally-located hotel.

This comfortable, well-provisioned, quiet hotel was the perfect landing spot for the majority of our vacation. It was central to everything we wanted to do in Salzburg, easy walks to many amenities and public transport. The staff were knowledgable, helpful, and professional. The breakfast selections were excellent, fresh, and varied. Wonderful Semmeln!

(Very small complaint:) please inform your guests where they can put trash and recycling. Travelers generate an embarrassing amount of both, and the little waste receptacle in our room wasn’t large enough.

Gorgeous building in central location

Beautiful building in a central location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was like an apartment and had quite possibly had a very recent refurbishment. Luggage storage after checkout is handy too. Hopefully we can return at some point in the future.

It was very clean and well organized. The hotel was close to attractions and restaurants.

Perfect location for a visit to Salzburg.

EVERYTHING! This hotel was excellent! I chose it for the location. It’s walking distance from the train station, many tourist sites, the river, etc. The breakfast was really good with many choices. The staff was kind and helpful. I appreciated their clear and timely communication before I arrived. They even sent a QR code for free bus transportation. The courtyard was peaceful and elegant. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Brief, ideal location, dead easy to nab the Number 2 free bus to the airport

Locality to the less busy part of the city. Lovely building. Very clean.

There was some noise out of the street in the very early hours. This is NOT in any way the fault of the residence, just inconsiderate people. I didn’t think the doors were particularly secure - it wouldn’t take great strength to force one open I feel - significant if you want to leave your stuff whilst you go walkabouts. Even with the electric entry nothing is 100% protected from someone walking in off the street.

Fantastic - highly recommend

My friends and I all had single rooms and they were very simple but charming. Comfortable bed. It was centrally located and being in a former priests seminary was a real experience. Beautiful courtyard and chapel on site.

If your looking for budget, fantastic accommodation close to the heart of Salzburg you found it.

Location was superb for touring round Salzburg, arrived very early morning 08:30 am, obviously unable to actually check in but was allowed to leave luggage which helped. Room was extremely comfortable, spacious and clean. Some people would say the room is minimalist as the room did not include a TV but for me that was not a concern. Knowledgeable and helpful staff, check in and check out seamless.

No option for a hot breakfast but the selection for a cold breakfast made up for this.

Amazing location, a few steps away from the Mirabell gardens and Mozarts residence. This area is a nice part of town. The staff were helpful and gave some recommendations for a nice walk near the fortress which was lovely. The room was big and spotless. The breakfast was nice and there is a gorgeous courtyard you can sit and eat breakfast in or read a book or just relax. The building is also really beautiful and it was nice to stay in such a lovely building.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable and there was only one pillow. This might be just my preference as I prefer a hard mattress and lots of pillows. There was a little bit of noise from the street in the nighttime but earplugs were provided. These are very minor issues and overall the stay was very very good.

I'd definitely stay again AND recommend this spot to friends and family.

The room was surprisingly roomy. Quiet, comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. Though the reception was only open from 10-4 each day, the key system and availability of the luggage room made it easy to navigate after hours. The included breakfast offered a lot of tasty variety. Communication with staff before my arrival was also excellent.

Fantastic area, perfect accommodations for the simple traveler.

Simple accommodations were clean, stocked with what I needed, and a very comfortable bed. Simple, which is exactly what I wanted. Front desk staff were very kind and helpful.

Little difficult to find the signage to get in, but I’m also not from Europe so that might just be me not knowing the area or language. The door to the room didn’t feel that secure, but I didn’t test it. I could see sunlight coming through it when shut. As a solo female traveler, that made me a little nervous.
