It was a great location for us, and Cristina the host was most helpful whenever I had any questions. We just stayed one evening, and it was our final night prior to heading home, so we didn't really have a chance to enjoy the accommodations or the city, but it was a nice place to land for the evening before heading home.
A little more information sooner on the specifics of the tourist tax and cost for kids vs adults would have been helpful.

The bedroom in the main floor works very well for families with kids.
There is only one shower and it’s extremely tiny with a broken shower door. Also, the AC made the main level cool, but the upper bedroom was too hot at night. We were also not impressed with the location of this property. It was surrounded by dirty streets filled with graffiti and broken down buildings. We never felt unsafe, but it’s not the romantic Venice you read about.
