    The beds were comfy with private curtains. Breakfast is basic, cereals, bread, butter, coffee. There's a bar downstairs but people aren't all from the hostel so I wouldn't say this place has social vibes. There is a train station nearby and you could hear it, so it's not recommended for light sleepers. Still, great value for the price.

    This place was a breath of fresh hostel air for me after staying in one that was far from ideal. It was a real clouds-parted stay, with truly 5 stars from me in every way. Really great energy here.

    Our stay at The Walrus Bar and Hostel was unfortunately not as enjoyable as we had hoped. One of the major drawbacks was the loud sound from the train tracks right next to the hostel, which made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. The noise from the trains was constant and disruptive, which greatly impacted the overall experience. Additionally, the hostel seemed to be lacking enough bathrooms and toilets for the number of guests. There was often a long wait to use the facilities, which was quite frustrating. The only positive aspect of our stay was the location. It was centrally located, walking distance from Waterloo station, making it easy to explore and access nearby attractions. Unfortunately, the noise and limited bathroom facilities overshadowed this benefit. Overall, we wouldn't recommend The Walrus Bar and Hostel unless you're prepared for the noise and can manage with the shared facilities.
