Very friendly and efficient staff. comfortable bed and excellent showerroom facilities.

Clean, convenient and comfortable. The pods do so easy and such a great price. Perfect stop over for my early Eurostar in the morning!

Was quite hot but there is air vents in the pods so was fine.

Location, Staff.

The two best features of this hostel are its proximity to King's Cross station and the cheap price. The dormitories are reasonably set up with large stand-alone lockers for each bunk and sinks with a mirror. There is also a well-fitted kitchen and chilling area with fusball, although this can't be used by guests who need to check out very early, ie before 6.30am

The part I really didn't like was how stuffy the dormitory was. There was an overwhelming smell of bodily odour and shoes, which was likely exacerbated by the lack of proper ventilation, as there was only one skylight that opened a fraction. There also wasn't any air conditioning, which should really be a basic utility with the impending climate catastrophe, so the dormitory was extremely hot. Although the staff had been diligent and set up a floor fan, this did very little to alleviate the temperature and smell. I also found the ladder to the top bunk awkward to use, as rather than rungs it had weird, differently-shaped cutouts. Lastly, one of the toilet seats in the male toilets was completely destroyed.
