    The hotel is indeed located very close to the underground and train station, just a 2-minute walk away. However, on the street you have to walk through to reach the hotel, there were several homeless people using drugs and asking for money, which made me feel very unsafe. The room we stayed in was extremely small. It was so cramped that you either had to open your suitcase on the floor, as there was nowhere else to put it, or be unable to move around the room. There was a very small double bed and a single bed, which clearly did not fit properly in the room. There was no fan, and the room was very hot. There was also no mini-fridge and no hairdryer. We stayed on the fifth floor. The stairs were extremely narrow and steep, and there was no lift. It was very difficult to carry our luggage up the stairs. Breakfast is not included and costs £7 per person. However, the options were very limited: toast, ham, cheese, boxed juice and coffee, which was cold. The bathroom smelled very bad, and everything had a very dirty and grimy appearance. The bedspread and blanket smelled musty and unpleasant and looked as though they had not been washed for a long time. The bed sheets, however, appeared to be clean. There was also a very unpleasant rotten smell coming from the bathroom drain. The shower itself worked well and had good water pressure, but the shower curtain was very dirty and covered in what appeared to be body grease. During the shower, it kept sticking to my legs, which was extremely unpleasant. Overall, although the location is convenient, the cleanliness, room size, facilities and general condition of the hotel were very disappointing.

    We stayed for two nights and were sorry to go home. Cosy room with a en-suite private shower room which included towels and toiletries. Room had TV, wi-fi and tea and coffee making facilities. Even a hairdryer as I had forgotten mine. They also offer a left luggage facility which is brilliant. Lovely staff and would visit again.
