We checked into Elmwood as we needed to be close for an early Eurostar departure the next day. The location is excellent and very convenient for travel. The hotel staff were also okay. However, the room, cleanliness, and mattress quality were below expectations. So dun expect much. Would I return? No.

It's the best 2 star hotel I have stayed in until now. No bed bugs, clean towels, and very close to Metro and rest of the places.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights and I didn't pay a lot of money it was cheap. The good point about this hotel is the location, plenty of storage space in the room, the shower was spacious, and there was a coffee kettle. This hotel has room for improvement, and I suggested some to the receptionist. The internet Wi-Fi speed is very slow, the water pressure in the shower is really low, I had to wait for at least a minute or two for the water to come out and when it did it wasn't very strong. The sockets are positioned in a really bad place one was behind the bed, and not very easy to get to, and the others behind the disc where the cattle is again very low not conveniently placed The toilet is also small and a very small wash basin. The walls are very thin you can hear all the noise all day and night, plus the windows are not double glazed so at 6:00 a.m. people were shouting and fighting outside. The bed sheets and pillowcases were very clean however the bedspread was dirty with hairs. Obviously there is no lift so if you are coming for a few days and you are carrying with you a large suitcase good luck. So I would recommend that you take a headband with Bluetooth speakers and use it so you can kill out the noise. But like I mentioned I paid very little for this room for fortnite so I cannot complain. If they fix all these issues then of course I would stay here again and only maybe for two nights if I cannot find anywhere cheaper.
