    The check in process was simple and the place was clean. Make sure you take a eye patch so that you can sleep through the night. The day I stayed was hot and they don't have Air Conditioner, but in London most nights you won't need one.

    It's super close to the museum, within a few minutes walk. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed is ok. Staff are amazing.

    This has always been my go-to hostel whenever I’m in London. The location is fantastic and the staff are always very friendly. However, I’ve noticed a decline recently, which is unfortunately. The bathrooms were quite smelly and gross. I stayed in the annex and the key cards wouldn’t open the outside door. I had to walk back to the main building late at night and find a staff member to get the door open. They said the door breaks “all the time” and by the time we walked back to the annex there was a group of about four or five people also locked out. As a solo female traveller, I didn’t love being locked out late at night, especially as the annex is on a dark and poorly lit back steeet. The room was clean, as always, with decent storage and it’s still the best hostel experience I’ve had in London, though not as good as hostels in other places.

    The staff were lovely when we arrived and were very helpful. We were told our two bedroom room was in a different building to the main hostel, but that seemed ok. Unfortunately the room was very disappointing, very tired and battered in places, bent legs on one of the beds, a stain that looked like someone had been sick on the carpet, and a main door lock that wasn’t fully functional.
