Functional if dated budget hotel

Good location, plenty of storage in rooms, external window shutters add welcome privacy on ground floor rooms. Staff are excellent and couldn't be more helpful or friendly.

Bedframe makes sitting on the bed uncomfortable - why is the mattress in a wooden box? Rooms desperately need air conditioning in summer, and more power sockets would also be welcome.

Hostel style hotel, bad experience if you are travelling with family. Suggested only for 2 people.

Nice position

Size of the room. The cot for the baby, which is a possible option, doesn’t fits in the room and isn’t free. The kitchenette in the room is useless, no dishes, knives, forks.. nothing. You must use the common kitchen, like in a hostel. They say it’s a double room, but you have a table with only one chair (the second doesn’t fits).

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel.

We ordered a twin room for me and my daughter. We got a very nice room with two separate beds and two tables, two chairs and plenty of cupboard space. The beds were comfortable. We had a private bath room with shower. In addition, there was a small refridgerator to store our food. The hotel has a kitchen facility. Within in a 15 min walk we could reach the center of Salzburg with all of the attractions. The hotel is close to the railway station. We could walk there within 10 min. You might hear the trains passing the bridge, but you get soon used to it. I would recommend to buy a Salzburg card that give you free access for transportation and many museums.

The free orange juice which was replaced every day

There was no headboard as it wasn’t a proper double bed. The toilet roll was never replaced and I had to go to reception twice to ask for more. There was no tv in the room and our view consisted of a bush outside.

Great place to stay! Comfortable room and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see.

Easy access to public transportation and right by the river with a great view. Room was comfortable and well stocked, free drinks and amenities (tea, juice, soaps). Fridge, kettle, microwave, even a stovetop. Lots of storage, a nice desk, good bathroom. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Extra fee to wash and dry clothes, and clothes were still damp after running the dryer twice.

Highly priced and not worth the amount.

The hostel was about 10 minutes walk from the central station, the river is right outside the hostel and there is a rail station next to the hostel that goes right to the central station as well. The walk around the hostel is beautiful. The hostel premises and reception is clean and tidy with good plantations as well.

The room is quite small with no proper power plug points and ventilation. The fan stands right between the passage and does not work well either. The place was quite humid and we went in summer which made it worse. The bed is not good either. Especially when you want to sit or stand up, the edges hurt badly which you need to take care. The shower was also way too small.

Receptionists was nice and welcoming. Room was big and clean, although the bed was not very comfortable. Its ok for just one night stay.

The location was a bit shabby especially at night. No breakfast served and the 24hr machine was not well stocked. It was a 15/20min walk to get to the centre of Salzburg. When we where at Salzburg it was 30/32 degrees and there are no AC just a fan.

It had everything we needed. The beds were fine and the shower was good as well. It’s near some good busstops that will take you anywhere you want.

For this price we’ve been in some much more luxurious places, so I’m not sure if it’s entirely worth this money. Also it was definitely not spotless.

Optimal location for us for football & to visit the city center.

This was the perfect location for us as we were going to the Liverpool game versus Salzburg. The hotel is for students but it was okay for us. The next day we were able to walk to the center & collect the bags later.

A value for money stay in the heart of Salzburg. Ideal for backpackers.

The room was well organised and had all the necessities. Small things like electric kettle, Refrigerator, table chair arrangement & electric power sockets next to the beds made our stay very comfortable. 24*7 availability of reception was also was very assuring. The location too is very apt , just walking distance from HBF and bus stops.

Good for groups our 18 year Olds. Very poor for anyone who needs comfort, privacy, and security.

The room was very comfortable, with a nice build quality. The facilities were also good. The location is quite good, considering that it is next to a train station, and at a walking distance to the city.

Great stay in Salzburg, totally worth it

It's location was unbeatable and the price was excellent for Salzburg. Very near to the train station, within walking distance from the center and next to a metro station

Nice solution for the city center

The double room is quite big and comfortable, pretty silent: you don't hear the train although the hostel is quite close to the station. Check in online and you will earn some time.
