Good value in Stresa

Quiet location. A short stroll to the jetty where we could take the ferry to the islands. Own parking area (albeit at EUR8 per night). Large bed. Good breakfast. Housekeeping done even though we stayed only 2 nights. Friendly staff. Not an issue for us as we knew the relative location but it's a one km walk to get into the heart of Stresa (though taking a bus is possible).

Toilet a bit small. Fluffier pillows would be better.

Fine for a couple of nights.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room, although rather dated, was cleaned very well. The hotel was a nice walk away from the centre and harbor for boat tours. Train station was quite close, although we had to walk along a very busy road without a pavement. The croissants for breakfast.

The pillows were very hard and the bed was rather too hard for our taste. We stayed in October, so the room was not always warm enough during the night and there weren’t enough blankets. A duvet would have been better. The breakfast was okay, despite being the same every day; more choice would have been good, such as eggs and brown bread as an alternative. The coffee from the machine was not to my taste.

Nice hotel in a good location

The personnel was very nice and friendly. The breakfast was very good (especially the warm croissants). Our room was super clean. I liked the location, close to the lake, where you can walk along admiring beautiful views and reach the center of Stresa in slightly more than 10 minutes. If you arrive by train, the railway station is a few minutes from the hotel.

Lovely stay in Stresa

Our room, the variety of food for breakfast, the helpfulness of the staff,and the closeness to the panoramic walk by the lake.

The distance from the centre of Stresa from where most of the ferries left.(Some of our group had difficulties walking long distances.) However, the staff arranged taxis for us, which was very helpful

Ordinary breakfast.. coffee from machine was nothing to write home about. Very basic room but clean and bed very comfortable

A great stay

The personnel was very nice and friendly and the breakfast was good with a big, warm croissaint and buns, cheese, juice etc. from the buffet. It was located near the port where you can take a boat to the Borromean islands and from the port there is a nice walk by the lake to the center of Stresa for about 20 minutes.

Comfortable for a short stay.

The hotel was within easy walking distance from the station. The town centre was a bit further, but still walkable. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was comfortable. Appreciated being able to access my room on arrival, even though I was early.

Perfect for a small gateway

It was very close to the lake and the breakfast was amazing. The guy working behind the desk was very helpful and friendly. The balcony in the room was cute, it really lights up the space.

Maybe add shampoo in the shower. The bed was a bit hard. It’s a very simple room but efficient anyway.
