- very crowded bathroom with some cleanliness issues - a bit noisy in the morning - very difficult parking, the closest free parking area is over 200m away and is constantly full, the closest paid one is also over 100m and often quite full (but there's a discounted daily rate if you ask at the reception) - the wifi asked for login all the time and was quite slow

Good for us but read carefully...

Our room (12) was big and spacious. Continental breakfast was generous, staff was kind and welcoming. There is an excellent restaurant on site and location is 1 minutes from ferry station and "lungolago" to enjoy the lake. For one night it was perfect for us. There is a luggage room available after check out.

Price was way too high for what it is...however it is Stresa... (74 € ). For same price or less in other locations you get more. Stresa is above average with prices for accomodation (in general). Room on 3rd floor with no elevator and narrow staircases, no air conditioning, no insects net at windows, bed not particularly comfortable and no parking. Shower minuscule.

The location was excellent, the gentleman at the reception was friendly and helping. He let us check in before 2pm and stored our luggage for a couple of hours after the check out. The breakfast was good. we were expecting a buffet style breakfast but we were served on the table and we liked it for a change. The service of the gentleman was very good. Our room was quite big. we booked a room for 5 people and it was actually two rooms with enough space for everyone and two big terraces! I would recommend this hotel and would like to stay here in future as well. excellent value for money!

No lift! ;( our room was on the third floor and there were a lot of stairs to climb. We had to pay for an extra bed but it was not mentioned at the time of booking. we thought that it was a room for 5 persons but at the check out they said it was actually for 4 people and extra bed cost us 15 euros.

Inexpensive central location in Stresa, good restaurant and nice people.

We liked the super central location, the downstairs restaurant, the breakfast and the nice lady always ready to help with a smile. The room was simple but things worked. Parking was possible to find in the nearby main street at a walk-able distance, the hotel is on a pedestrian zone.

Difficult to criticize at this price point in such a central Stresa location, but we found the bathroom very small and perhaps the bed linen could be newer. In our room there was no air conditioning.

Tolle Lage, Ausstattung naja. Für eine Zwischenübernschtung ok, einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich nicht empfehlen

Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt und die kostenlosen Parkmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Trotzdem war es sehr ruhig in der Nacht. Das Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse sehr umfangreich und das Personal war superfreundlich und aufmerksam

Die Möbel im Zimmer waren alt und abgenutzt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Hinterhof, da das de Cesare eher ein Restaurant mit ein paar Zimmern ist waren die Essensgerüche im Zimmer sehr unangenehm. Es hat nach Pommesbude gerochen.

im zimmer war es sehr kalt (wegen regenwetter, herbst und schlechter isolierung) und es gab keine angenehm warme decken nur alte wolldecken). das frühsück war für unseren geschmack zu süss
