Fantastic holiday spot for families with a baby!

We arrived very early and were able to check in ahead of schedule, plus we received a room upgrade — amazing! The restaurant staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and I even enjoyed my first really good oat-milk coffee at a 5-star hotel. Overall, a wonderful February vacation — highly recommend!

One downside: we were told the minibar was free except for alcoholic drinks, but we were still charged. I mentioned it at the reception, but it wasn’t resolved, which ended our trip on a slightly awkward note.

A super nice hotel with everything one can wish for.

What a nice hotel this is! With love and care for detail this hotel has been constructed and maintained. The very friendly and helpfull staff will do about anything to make your stay memorable. The location is perfect, directly at the beach and with the large gardens it really feels like a resort. Being at a large conference for 4 days, this was a place to relax and unwind. Unfortunately the time to enjoy everything was limited. The breakfast is to die for, with its immense diversity and options. We loved it. The rooms are spacious, and very well equipped. The bed is super comfortable and the turn down service is well appreciated. The large bathroom has a bathtub, shower and separate toilet and is as spacious as the room.

Actually nothing. One advice when booking a room: there are two separate buildings in this hotel; the Palace and the Arabian Court. So when booking the Arabian Court rooms, you are in another buidling on the same hotel grounds. It is not an "upgrade"of a room in the same hotel. Both the Palace and the Arabian court have very different athmospheres to it. There both good, but different.

Luxury and tropical feeling!

The room was beautiful, with excellent housekeeping throughout our stay. The beach is vast and offered a great sense of privacy, and the beach service was outstanding. Every dining experience was exceptional. Tresind remains at the top of our favorites. We also thoroughly enjoyed Jetty Bar, Rooftop Bar, and Viva la Goa. Breakfast and lunch at Drift were excellent, whether in the restaurant or at the pool bar. The music was superb, especially the live saxophonist, which created a fantastic atmosphere. We also loved the boat transfer to One&Only The Palm, where we enjoyed an unforgettable dinner.

Travelling for work with family

it’s not always easy to balance working moments with family time while abroad, especially when you have a two-year-old child. I must say that we had a wonderful experience at this property. The quality is outstanding, but what truly makes the difference are the people — the staff was absolutely up to the standards of a top five-star hotel. I would like to thank the team at the Olives restaurant — especially Cristina, Ara, Alvin, Ester, and Helaj — a truly precious staff. If we come back to Dubai, there will be no doubt about where we’ll stay.

Wonderful hotel and incredible staff

Everything - the room were spacious and well designed - always cleaned and everything was working perfectly. The staff was absolutely incredible - especially with our baby. The pools are wonderful and the activities offered around are also a nice touch. Finally, the food was incredible and the service in each restaurant was brilliant! A special thank you to Nirmal who have been absolutely incredible with us during our stay.

Incredible stay in Dubai, beautiful hotel

Amazing staff, everyone very friendly and helpful. Amazing food at the restaurants for breakfast and dinner, the pool was beautiful and really nice that people came round with eg watermelon. Made it very easy to be on holiday with a baby, everything was fantastic.

Disappointing and way overpriced

The beach, not the hotel’s facilities on the beach

1. The room had very old style furnishings, the shower was in the same room with the toilet, so all space become wet after showering, the faucet of the sink was leaking 2. I asked to be relocated at the checkin and I was offered something bigger for an extra charge (I paid 1000 euro/night for a room and for relocation in a suite I was asked for 1000 euro more 3. Breakfast is fair, nothing spectacular as all the facilities 4. After giving them a bad feedback after first night, I was approached several times by a manager, without empathy, offering me thing I didn’t care about. My clear perception was that despite the fact that he was telling me how important is for him to have happy clients, all he wanted was me not writing these

Third but probably last time came here. This time we have stayed in the Palace side. The room the bedding and the closet are smelled bad. The stuff is not professional enough. Kind but they always had to double check something which was annoying.

Fell materially short of expectations.

Tresind is a world class restaurant and honey and jam stations at the breakfast were interesting with a diverse selection.

Where do I begin... Hotel in general looks tired, pool design is dull and dated, staff generally clueless but trying to be helpful, hotel is neighboring construction at every direction, room was definitely too small for the advertised occupants, breakfast and dinner buffet way below subpar. Perhaps I had too high of an expectation of the One&Only brand but this is probably first and last time we will ever stay in one of their properties.

Customer service from the buggy drivers to reception, housekeeping and in the restaurants is top notch. Beautiful and clean space and surroundings. Good variety of food options at breakfast and dinner buffet.

Stunning hotel. Few tweaks needed

Stunning property, immaculately maintained. Excellent, attentive staff and good location.

Impossible to find an available sun bed in the afternoon despite many clearly being unused, this is as much guest responsibility as the hotels to ensure towels are removed when no longer needed. Disappointed to be charged 40AED (£8) for a bottle of water at dinner. Of course you expect to pay premium rates at this hotel, but water is provided free of charge at the pool so why so much at dinner? We needed one bottle each, so for a large family like mine, it was a very unwelcome additional expense. Staff worked extremely hard but there were too few at the Rotisserie restaurant and service suffered as a result.

Location, design, broad expanse of beach and beautful/timeless design. Staff were very accommodating and free waterpark & early/late checkouts we’re a welcome treat! We were well treated and anniversary cards and cake in the room was truly appreciated and sweet thoughts.

Shower turned on and off on own, early morning dripping water for a few minutes at a time, then turn off and then on again. Waking us in the early morning. Changing valves or regular maintenance is required. Communications for room makeup in the morning is a bit elusive, as no door sign, or housekeeping notice available and then it leaves the process in limbo with no coordination. We had to call housekeeping several times to no avail and then finally visit reception to request room makeup by 2pm. Not really acceptable with hotel of this caliber. Such process should be much more coordinated and streamlined. As were were told in checkin that we could visit any other facilities, pools and beach’s between Arabian court, residences and Palace..when going to Spa followed by pool swim at the Residences, they did not allow us access to the pool area because we were from Arabian Court?!? Strange..

The service of the staff was excellent - particularly Sujeet and Saqlain who are absolute stars. Attention to detail and service mindset could be seen in every aspect and moment of our stay. We look forward to coming back soon.
