Noise 24/7 from major construction

Nothing trip awful there was construction going on 24/7 next door. We got no sleep no break from the noise Could be heard all day and night heavy machinery drilling clanging of pipes. We could hear on the beach in the restaurant and in our room throughout our stay. Had we been aware on major construction we would not have booked this hotel nowhere did it say this. Also parts of the Waterpark closed for our entire stay

January 2026 noisy constuction 24/7.

Pool was good, breakfast was good. Barasti bar was also good but no children allowed. Waiting staff also great.

Road, train and high rise building construction 24hrs a day. We could not sleep. For the cost of the room which was high due to peak season you would think they would tell customers before booking. At check out we got a 350 AED discount from a 7000 AED cost for 3 nights. They could have done better and I would not have lwft a poor review. Was told a free upgrade next stay, there wont be one.

Wonderful stay! The hotel somehow made me feel like royalty without the hassle of actual crown-weari

Stayed at this hotel and discovered that the Executive Lounge staff are basically superheroes disguised as humans. They were so helpful that I half-expected them to start giving life advice along with my coffee. Special shoutout to Chef Arjun, who somehow managed to make gluten- and dairy-free waffles and pancakes taste so good that my kids now believe he has magical powers. Seriously, I’m starting to suspect he moonlights as a wizard. Every morning felt like a tiny breakfast miracle, my kids left the table happy and me suspicious of whether I should be asking for his secret spellbook instead of the syrup.

High season means everyone and their uncle decided to vacation here, so finding a chair at the pool or beach was basically a competitive sport. I spent a good 15 minutes circling like a hungry seagull before claiming my territory, but hey, can’t blame the hotel for popularity! Honestly, it just made me appreciate the quiet moments I did find even more… and gave me excellent cardio. 10/10 would dodge sunbathers again.

Room was nice and tidy. I had breakfast only once, it was nice lots of verity and options and kids love it as well. Pool facility is excellent, loved the view as well.

All the construction work going on is making it difficult to go out of the Hotel, to reach the Sheikh Zayed road.

Amazing and great service

The hotel is brilliant and the stay was amazing. It was our anniversary and we had informed the reservation staff. They surprised us with a balloons cake and chocolates which was a surprise.. felt really welcomed and was a brilliant gesture. The lady at the check in counter Mrs Katelyn was hospitable and very welcoming. Want to thank her for the all her efforts in making our stay amazing. The hotel staff is very welcoming and helpful. The premium lounge staff is great and super service. Overall had a beautiful stay at the hotel and will definitely recommend the hotel

Wonderful Winter Break

All the pools and beach area had lots of sun beds and good shade and our granddaughter really enjoyed the waterpark. Food was amazing, especially in the individual restaurants and there are plenty of pool bars and beach bars to try. Room was a good size, comfy and clean and we were given plenty of bottled water. Our stay was all inclusive and was definitely worth doing. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The construction on the road at the front of the hotel made for delays in taxis leaving or returning but noice of construction wasn't an issue and will probably be finished by the time we go back.

Excellent hotel + 200% kindness from staff

Second stay in this hotel. We really enjoyed our first stay 3 years ago and decided to return. We stayed for 2 weeks with our 9-year old boy. We enjoyed even more than the first time as it was after a long post-op recovery for me, so we stayed most of the 2-week period in the hotel. The complex includes 3 hotels from the same group in a beautiful park/area with trees, flowers, nice pools and a beautiful beach. You can use the facilities/pools/restaurants of Meridien or Westin. W hotel is exclusive to W guests -adults only. We had half-board. Food/restaurants are excellent. With our kid we mainly use the buffet restaurants (Last Recipe in Le Meridien and Mina’s kitchen in Westin). And snacks at the pool or beach. Our kid enjoyed the waterpark (free) and the electric foil scooter (water sports)…even if I feel it is a little bit expensive. There is a nice looking bar/nightclub and a few construction works (normal in Dubai) close by but it did not impact our stay at all. Beds are really confortables, room size (32 sq.m.) in Le Meridien was big enough for us and everything is clean. My only remark is the rather narrow bathtub in the bathroom. Not very practical when you have mobility issues. But we managed. WiFi/internet (free) works perfectly, also around the pools or at the beach. Water is free in the room, restaurants, or at the pool/beach (was not the case 3 years ago). I mention it because there are still some hotels where they invoice for water. All the staff - in the restaurants, at the beach or pools or the cleaning/service people- are very kind. You feel welcomed every day. They are always very supportive and try to satisfy your requests: even when your son requests « hot chocolate » mornings and evenings! Thanks to All. Do not change: this definitely makes the difference! We love this place : next time would be a real dilemma I am sure : are we going back a third time?

Excellent service, great pools and beach area with plenty beds to choose from. Very clean, good sized rooms. Food was excellent which made our holiday even more enjoyable.

I would have liked a balcony but this was my own doing as I didn't book it at time of booking. Apart from that my stay was excellent. Looking at booking again.

Hotel was lovely, staff were amazing couldn't do enough for you. Restaurants were fantastic and use of all three hotels is a huge bonus.

Rooms are clean (but not new), staff are super friendly especially at the buffet restaurant and excluding few in the main reception, location is good, main dishes in the buffet taste well.

The overall cleanliness of the hotel facilities was below expectations. Dry leaves and broken trees were scattered around the property, and in the waterpark, debris was visible inside the pools, which were also cloudy. Food variety was very limited; during my one-week stay, breakfast and dinner menus remained almost identical each day, with only minor changes on a single day. The salads lacked both variety and flavor, while the main dishes, though tasty, were repetitive and became monotonous. I specifically chose this hotel for its waterpark for my children, but it was disappointing—small, overcrowded, with poorly maintained and dirty water. Additionally, two reception staff members were rude, which further affected the experience. Also the kids play area was freezing cold, everyone were on jackets!! And they didn’t respond to adjusting it to moderate temperature. For travelers seeking a luxury stay, this hotel does not meet that standard; it does not provide the service, amenities, or atmosphere of a luxury property. Even basic items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided. Overall, I would consider this an average hotel at best.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we checked out, every staff member we encountered was friendly, humble, and always had a smile on their face! From the valet and concierge to the front desk, housekeeping team, and the restaurant staff in the lobby—everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. A very special shoutout goes to the amazing lounge team on the 10th floor—Sabita, Kalpani, and Prajyoton. Every time we stepped into the lounge, we were greeted by name and remembered preferences without even needing to ask. Their warm, joyful energy and dedication to making us feel comfortable truly stood out. As for the facilities, the variety of pools for both kids and adults was fantastic. We enjoyed exploring the different areas, and it really felt like a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Dubai. My family and I were truly happy and fully enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience so special. You are the face of the resort and absolutely deserve recognition—whether a bonus or a raise—for the outstanding service you deliver!

The only thing we didn’t enjoy as much was the difficulty of sitting outdoors at the restaurants due to the summer humidity. It would be great if more powerful or additional outdoor AC units could be installed to better cool the area and accommodate all tables comfortably. This small improvement would truly elevate the overall dining experience, especially for those who enjoy outdoor seating.

Beautiful Hotel

We were originally checked into a different hotel which was very disappointing. We had to change and this one was exceptional. It was like 4 hotels in one as can use the facilities at adjoining hotels. The staff were incredible. Shout out to Nandun Sabita Kalpani Dinesh Who went above and beyond x thank you 😊 xxx I

Can be difficult yo get a lounger at pool, need to reserve, but not an issue once you know how. Music from beach bar never really stops. Not an issue for us but if looking for a quieter hotel may be something to consider

Wonderful staff who go extra mile, recommended for families

The hospitality and level of service was excellent. The staff is well trained and offer high level of service to hotel customers. We did a 3 nights stay at the hotel for a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children. The kids enjoyed the facilities especially the water park and kids club. Le Meridien is in a complex comprising of W hotel and Westin, all hotels facilities are shared and that is great.

The combination of using the 3 Hotel facilities makes the experience fun.

Kids water park was a plus to keep the kids entertained and the club lounge staff were very courteous.

The rooms are extremely small and the extra bed given can only sleep in a child not an adult. With 2 kids they have to provide 2 extra beds. My kids got food poisoning from the hotel and the rest of our stay we spent in the hotel room nursing them.

Superb hotel - excellent customer service and attention to detail

We have just returned from a 5 day break at this super hotel, with customer service to exceed all expectations. The breakfast was plentiful, and the food was superb. The room was huge and kept spotlessly clean. There is access to the facilities at the Westin hotel next door and waterpark, with and adults only pool which was fabulous, loungers could be booked in advance, so no fighting for best position, a swim up bar and great restaurants. On our last day the pool manager came up to us say that they hope we had a wonderful day gave us a card with best wishes and a cake to say bon voyage for our journey home. There is a metro station right by the hotel with great access and cheap access to all parts of Dubai. Highly reccomended.

Lovely pool, gardens, breakfast was excellent. Particular praise for Arjun, one of the managerial staff at breakfast, lovely man, top service, made a real difference.
