Halifax House, Studio Apartment 215

Cosy and clean apartment. Everything we needed for our short stay.

Apartment on the second floor. No lift. I have a bad ankle so a lift would have been useful. The bathroom floor could do with re-grouting. Some grout coming away and painful to stand on in bare feet.

Space had everything we needed

As we were here during the heatwave it was very warm. Only the one window and the fan wasnt very powerful. In any other weather wouldnt have noticed this.

5 min walk to train station, main street, near bars etc too and to venue for our concert. We were able to leave the window open all night and no noise. No noise from other appartments either. Facilites were great.

Shower could have done with a good clean, shower head and tiles were dirty but apart from that rverything else was really clean. Towels, bedding etc all packaged.

Nice little place to stay, close everything, The apartment looked presentable and clean. The kitchen had everything you could need, Toiletries provided The bed was comfy with plenty of pillows The property manager sent messages that we could reply to as well as a guide for the apartment, but didn't reply on the weekend

front door doesn't require you to use the security code to enter. The stairs up to the second floor are scruffy The hallways leading to the rooms are hot and stunk of weed. On entry the humidity of the room was stifling, all the lights were on and the window was shut. The bathroom was OK but there was no hand soap? . Window blind is stiff and torn. When the window was opened there was a strong smell of weed coming into the apartment Recommendations - provide a fan and soap.
