We'd probably stay again if attending a gig.

Great location for attending a gig at The Piece Hall, Halifax isn't a big town centre and the venue was easily within walking distance.The town centre is a short, 3 or 4 minute walk, and there's plenty good eating places and a lovely, decent bar (The Victorian) close by. The property itself is on a quiet street and definitely helped in making our visit very relaxed.

The only drawback is we ended up staying there in the hottest few days of the year so far, and being on the 2nd (top) floor we couldn't open the windows. There was a fan in the room, but sadly it had little effect.

The location was superb if you wanted to stay 5 minutes walk from the piece halls . It’s a shame the apartment wasn’t cleaner

I thought we were staying in a hostile / homeless centre. When we entered the building there was an odour of cigarette smoke, smoke and a general unkempt smell. Paint peeling of the walls snd mail boxes with doors hanging off. The kitchen area and bathroom were both in need of a good clean. Dirt around the doors. Food splatter up the side of the kettle and in the microwave. Food deposits on switches and the extractor fan was gross. We had a 2 night stay booked and left after 1 night. The electronic information pack link was disabled so info about parking was not available and checking details arrivedd 1 hour before check in time. I would add more pictures but I’m unable to up load them .

Very tired communal areas, desperately in need of refurbishment. No toaster in the property. Bathroom could do with some attention, cracked floor tile and shower tiles need re-grouting.

Great facilities, all working, clean, safe, warm. Size is more suitable for two people but the 3 of us managed for our short break. Its not a separate 'bedroom' - there is a panel 2/3 of way across sleeping area which was ok for us as a family, perhaps not for unrelated guests. Location was ideal for city centre.

Lift not working, room on second floor via stairs. Problem with TV on arrival, Host very helpful and attended to resolve but took a few hours. No parking nearby, use either car parks with a charge or walk around 10 mins away for free parking.

The main entrance door and lift wasn't working and 1 of my friends struggled as she needs a stick to walk and was on 2nd foor. And sofa only big enough for 2 adults, so 1 had to sit on dining chair all night

I liked everything. Great value for price, close to the city center, easy to get to the apartment, clean, everything works, clear communication with the owner. Would recommend this place for those who want to stay in Halifax

Honestly, nothing. Few minor things: the elevator did not work, but it was not a problem for me. Also the audibility: the walls and doors are quite thin, so you can hear the neighbors. But it’s not a big deal.

Fine if you can manage 4 flights of stairs.

Small but good apartment with comfy double bed and sofa bed (in the kitchen/dining/ living room) for which linen was provided. Kitchen and bathroom clean and functional. Location excellent (but parking a problem - we got a £25 fine).

The bloody lift was always non functional. Building management (not the apartment manager) seem not to care about renters with mobility problems or heavy bags or prams. It was an easy fix but they just wouldn’t turn up.
