Fantastic apartment in a great location. Very comfortable bed and apartment had everything I needed for a great stay. Great communication from host including a helpful detailed welcome pack. Even provided coffee etc for arrival and put heating on so apartment was warm as the weather was very cold. Only 10 minutes walk from train station. Would definitely stay again.
No complaints. One of the nicest apartments I've stayed in.

Clean compact with all the main amenities
The hallways were a little unkempt and mattress a little lumpy but sleepable.

Great location, nicely fitted out flat. Well furnished and extremely clean. So much nicer than staying in a hotel. bathroom and shower were nice and easy to use.
Apartment was extremely hot and it was an 18 degree outside temperature. Would definitely not want to visit in summer. A bit more info on parking would have helped as there was lots of on street but most of it was 2-4 hours only and no return so it was a hassle finding somewhere and you do have to use an app to put parking costs in the space every day before 8am. Bed was a little hard and not too comfortable- could do with a new mattress.

The communal areas were very unkempt, upon our arrival there were lots of cigarettes butts on the floor, it was evident that the lift had not been cleaned for some time as there was used tissues thrown on the floor which was still in situ when we left on day 3, there was a horrible stench of food throughout the corridors, so not a very good "first impression or welcome" the apartment itself was very well worn in places, dirty threadbare carpets and stained sofa, cracked tiles on bathroom floor, however the bathroom was very clean, also the bedroom, lounge area and first impressions of the kitchenette was clean too. The mattress needs to be changed and the pillows were as flat as pancakes so also need changing as we feel this is basic essentials for a comfy night. The good points were lovely clean fluffy towels, extra clean bedding if needed, the electric fan was appreciated (and needed in such warm weather), TVs & Wi-Fi really good too. The really unacceptable thing which also let our stay down was the 'filthy' oven & trays thick with grease not been cleaned for possibly weeks and the fridge was dirty in places too upon closer inspection. We didn't feel entirely safe at night mostly due to door entry system (other guests trying to get into our room by mistake), noise from groups of Alcoholics who were hanging about on the adjoining streets during the day and night (incident at 2AM) but this did draw the attention of police presence..... and building CCTV gave us slight reassurance! Would we stay again in this building? Nope, would we recommend these Apartments for bookings? Nope..... Unfortunately too many down points outweighs the good points, shame really because the booking/management staff were very friendly and helpful. We have not yet left an official review yet but you asked so we've been honest about outlr opinion.

Ideal location in the heart of Halifax. Lovely, clean, well equipped property, ideal for a couple on a mini-break.
The communal entrance halls were a bit smelly, but this is out of the host's control and wouldn't put us off a return visit.

Very convenient location. Large size.
The bed was uncomfortable, especially the cheap pillows. The room was very warm and stuffy, which made it difficult to sleep. The building in which the apartment was located smelled strongly of cigarettes and damp, and was generally in disrepair, with damp, cracked plaster, and rubbish in the corridor. Would benefit from upgrades to the pillows, and perhaps some AC.

Good location for Halifax, plenty of parking nearby. Apartment was refurbished to a good standard.
Inside building felt quite rough in corridors. Also it was very hot inside flat. There was a fan but perhaps buy another. It can fit 4 people but it will be a squeeze

The apartment was clean and well prepared.
The communal entrance and hallways were not in a great state and the bed was very uncomfortable.

The kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom were clean. The lounge was great with a nice television and everything was there in the kitchen (pans, cutlery, plates etc) for cooking your own food if you wished to do so. There is even a washing machine!
We opted to eat out, as there is a very pleasant Wetherspoon restaurant only 3-5minute walk from the apartment. To walk into the town centre from here is very easy and only takes between 5-10minutes. The location of the apartment building is really good, surrounded by old buildings. We'd never stayed in an apartment before where the other apartments are privately owned as homes, but felt very secure here.
Whilst parking was to pay for, there is plenty of space to parallel park up the road beside the apartment building. If you park in a certain stretch of this road, the parking is free for majority of the day. There is also a 24hour car park nearby as an option too.
The owner of this property is extremely helpful and very nice. He was only a text message away and responded very quickly. Unfortunately the thermostat stopped working during our stay and he was very concerned and attentive to this, even offering to come out and look at it at 8pm!
My daughter had to sleep on the sofa bed, which was an extremely thin mattress, she could feel the springs through it. We put a blanket as some extra cushioning and she slept very well regardless! The double bed mattress may need to be replaced though, as there was clear 'wells' where the bodies would usually lay.
Could have done with some thicker pillows, they were lovely and soft but a bit thin. We didn't like the plug-in air freshener, but we just unplugged this during our stay, so no big deal.
Like I mentioned before, the thermostat stopped working, but this is no fault of the owner of this apartment, it is with the owner of the whole apart building. Likewise, the building lobby/hallways could do with a spruce up, but that is once again down to the whole building's owner.

Shower/water pressure. Communication with property knights was good. The accommodation was spacious.
The bed was comfortable but was two single beds pushed together. We would have preferred a double bed. The entrance and corridors were also rough and smelt like smoke. This made a bad first impression.

Comfortable, modern apartment with all mod cons close to Piece Hall and shops.
The lift wasn’t working.

Clean, easy to gain access too. Great communication with the host
No curtains in the bedroom, mean it was very light by 5am. The building isn’t in a great part of town and the 2nd floor corridors smell very bad.
A lot of rubbish outside one for the buildings exit

The location was superb!

The place was very well located, nicely decorated and the block was quiet.
On street (paid) parking right outside and long term (paid) parking a short walk away.
Town and all the places I needed to be on the doorstep.
There was a smell from the drains which could have been the whole block but the shower trap was filthy - I’d rather not be cleaning a shower trap and buying bleach.
Someone had messed about with the heating controls setting it at random times to 32C. Again a ‘I’d rather not be…’
It’s not a double bed. It’s two singles joined together so there’s a big seam down the middle of the bed.

Mattress could do with replacing.

Location was good, the property was well equipped with everything we needed and it was very clean. Communication was good, and the apartment building.g was quiet at night. Short walk to bars, restaurants and Halifax sights.
There was a drunk woman shouting in the street at 2.00am but we were just off the town centre, so what can you expect?

Really handy for the town centre. Home from home. Comfy bed.
Excellent shower.
I know I'm fussy but I like a mattress protector between the mattress and the bottom sheet and decent pillows. The bed was comfortable and clean, little extra comforts would have enhanced the experience.
