Terrible

Nothing. Was a very down bad place

The beds were supposed to be 2 singles, however those were so small that sleeping on them was concerning The carpets were dirty and the whole building smell of cigarettes and curry.

Convenient for a nights stay.

It is fine for 1 night stay. Bed was comfortable, shower was fine.

On arrival, without a lie, I thought the property was closed. No lighting to say other. Went to door, it opened and then could just make out a lone (rather wrapped up) sole figure standing behind the counter desk. Literally 1 light on in the whole area. And cold. He was very nice and gave us all the info we needed. On arrival into room, was a bit shocked to find the window open and the room freezing, never experienced that anywhere before. I'm all for saving power/costs, but this is too far. Seriously, this all needs improving!.

Friendly helpful staff , reasonable value for money

The staff were polite, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included in the price and was of a reasonable stranded.

The room was OK but as it was in the roof it was limited in height and easy to bang your head when moving around.

Good location, very friendly young man at the reception desk when we arrived who was courteous, helpful and could source of local information.

A decent enough stop once we managed to get checked in.

When we arrived the reception was shut, despite my having emailed in advance to alert them to the fact that we would be likely to arrive after 11pm as the ferry did not dock until 10pm. The hotel had accepted that request. Fortunately, someone came to the door and let us in. At first he tried to explain that we had not booked, but fortunately he persevered and found our booking and we got our room. The room was fine -- clean and a decent size for the 1 adult and 2 children and fine for our one night stay before heading off along the coast. It was easy to find from the ferry terminal, so all was well in the end.

The reception closes at 10pm, which is not great given the arrival time of the 5pm ferry from Newhaven.

Excellent comfy hotel with very good breakfast

Lovely hotel, great breakfast and the manager waited up very late like 01:30am and welcomed us. Comfy quiet rooms would stay again for overnight ferry stop.

Good no frills hotel

This is a no frills hotel on the outskirts of Dieppe. The room was clean and tidy and all the services worked and we always had hot water. It had car parking which may make it very suitable for those making a ferry crossing by car. The staff were all very helpful.

The room was a little small. The roof of the breakfast area which was next to our window had been used as an outside ashtray and needs to be swept clean.

Nice hotel for 1-2 day stay!

The rooms are small, but clean. The breakfast you can order separately, for April 2025 the price is around 12,95 per person. The breakfast is good, coffee is really good :) Excellent place for the price/quality ratio! not very far from main Normandie sights.

Good location, great staff, nice clean modern room, excellent value.

We were very happy with this booking, the hotel was easy to find, the staff at check in were very good. The room we booked was a triple and for some reason it was not available so they gave us 2 rooms with no extra charge. They were also very helpful with our requests, very friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice clean hotel for one or two nights, great value for the cost.

It would be convenient to have a small refrigerator in the room.

Good location for ferry port. Difficult to find - opposite Kyriad hotel entrance.

A little disappointed but we managed to get a free breakfast.

It was very clean ,tidy newly furnished

We couldn’t find it as the Best Western signage was missing, and not at all obvious where it was, eventually we had to ask at another hotel as to where it was situated. Then the front door was locked and no one there, it closes at 10.30 no txt to inform us about this , we had just docked at dieppe ferry port.

Very smart finish to the room. All facilities excellent. It's exactly the sort of hotel that would attract visitors from the UK, with a few changes, see above.. Very pleasant surroundings. Very pleasant staff.

There was no kettle in the room, only a coffee machine with no instructions on usage. As I don't speak French I could not ask for instructions nor do I drink coffee. It would be ideal for anyone travelling by ferry from the UK but it was a little misleading having the word porte in the name as I do not drive. I thought that it would be closer to the ferry , though that was my mistake

Lovely friendly staff, really comfortable beds. Quiet, convenient location quite close to Dieppe harbour.

Room was clean but still smelled of old socks. The hot water was lukewarm at 11pm (but hot in the morning)

A comfortable hotel

The prices are high at the weekend. No electric kettle, cups or tea/coffee. Expensive breakfast includes cold scrambled egg and (boiled?) bacon.

Location was fine & room comfortable

Breakfast was poor both in variety & volume for 10 euros each. Eg there was cereal but no bowls, spoons or milk, there was a toaster but no sliced bread. Another guest asked for eggs (none) & so had to ask for more cold meat and bread. Check in was from 2pm but Receotion was not open until 3pm.

Exceptional

First time I've used this hotel and the Staff were fantastic with assisting and organising a later than 10pm check in time. Excellent communication via messages and everything exactly as they said on arrival. Hotel in a quiet location and only 10 mins from DFDS Ferry terminal. The Queen room i had was absolutely great, very clean and tastefully decorated throughout and comfortable double bed. Will definitely use the hotel again and highly recommend it. Thank you

Used french hotels for 30 years and many have become very under maintained and unpleasant THIS HOTEL IS NOT ONE OF THEM- A VERY NICE CLEAN FRIENDLY PLACE TO STAY
