We strongly recommend it for location and sea view.

It’s fairly close to the main shopping street. Rooms at the front overlook the sea and you can see the Chateau round to your left. Lovely panoramic breakfast room. Underground car park. Superior rooms have ideally designed wardrobe for luggage, and hanging of clothes directly above plus drawers below. The shower has a non-slip base which we regard as essential for older people. The Mercure in Deauville has a dangerous, slippery surface. Why can’t designers do the sensible thing? Olivier in the front desk helped us a lot. Breakfast menu is fine, but why put those heavy cereal jars high up on a shelf?

Room was very clean, air conditioning was quiet, the room was nicely furnished and the bed was very comfortable

The breakfast was lovely with fantastic selection but a bit caotic. Don’t like hot drink machines. Also toaster was very slow and small, so people were getting impatient waiting to use it. Would be better if you were served fresh coffee or tea and toast was made for you.

Gorgeous rooms with aircon which was a bonus. Fantastic choice for breakfast. Hotel just been renovated so was lovely. Good shower with beautiful toiletries

Not really a relaxing stay

Clean and close to city center

No water for the shower in the morning and the owner claimed they cannot do anything about it. Entrance blocked in the morning for the car, parked 5 min in front for the luggage’s and got a fine. Once again staff claimed they are not responsible.

The breakfast room with a panoramic sea view is a big plus. The rooms are stylish and comfortable. Staff are great. Availability of underground parking is convenient

There are not enough electrical sockets in the rooms. II am sure that most guest will charge mobile phones.Likewise there is only one lift which can cause delays .

Great position overlooking the sea.

For a 4 star Hotel, having to use paper cups for hot drinks is a no no. No breakfast tea or milk in room only fruit teas and reception couldn't help when asked forcteabag. Lastly nowhere to hang wet towels

Great sea front hotel!

A busy well run hotel with good facilities, an easy check in and good on site restaurant. The breakfast was excellent and the view from the breakfast room stunning. It is an easy drive to the Dieppe ferry terminal.

Quite an expensive breakfast at 18 euro each. The pool is not actually in the hotel but at the lido opposite so the website was a bit misleading. Also had to pay entry for the pool.

Great location, great facilities- definitely worth a stay

The location is just on the beach front (500m walk to the beach!) located right next to a major landmark which is beautiful to look at on entrance to the hotel. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and welcoming, spoke English which was fab and helpful (so they didn’t have to put up with my broken French!). The room size was fantastic for a family of 4, total feel of modern and clean inside the bedroom and hotel throughout. Complimentary drinks in the fridge were greatly appreciated after a long drive. Beds were a great size and so comfy, even the sofa bed folded out in to two single beds which again a great addition for people travelling with children.

I am being picky here as we thoroughly enjoyed the stay so my only EBI’s would be: 1) that the shower pressure was not great especially if you have long hair 2) it wasn’t easy to fill the kettle with water due to the tap height in the sink. 3) Just make sure you read the car parking restrictions - 1.8m max height which meant our truck couldn’t fit in and we had to park elsewhere (I didn’t notice any restrictions on the parking section when booking so hopefully will help someone in future!)

Lovely hotel - wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a great single night stay at the Mercure Dieppe. Our room was great, with a sofa round the corner and the most comfy bed I had slept in during our week in France. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast is served in a room on the top floor of the hotel, which has an amazing view of the seafront and Chateau. Location is fab - really close to all the good stuff Dieppe has to offer

The only thing I found a bit odd was that the shower room part of our room didn't have a separate wall/door to the bedroom part of the room. The separate toilet did (thank goodness!).
