Bed bugs

Excellent location. Clean basic accommodation for most of us

Bed bugs in one room (photo evidence taken) and didn't like the Manager 's attitude when broaching the subject next day. Poor rating because of manager's aggressive and unhelpful attitude, Friend couldn't change room because no staff presence in hotel overnight (she sat on chair all night) yet manager said couldn't do a full refund because customer had had full use of the room. Catch 22 I am the person who organized the stay.

We arrived after 10pm and we told to use a code and the key would be in our door. It wasn’t so had to find a number to ring the owner. We had to sit on the stairs for 20 mins until she arrived

Management were rude had a dirty broken shower was told what do you want me to do!!!! So for two days me and wife had to shower with one hand holding the shower . Breakfast was terrible save your money and go out for breakfast plenty to choose from .

Bedroom only had a frosted glass window. The proprietor charged us 10 Euros each to park our bikes in the empty restaurant overnight! There was no fresh milk at breakfast for cereals and tea.

Pleasant room with a kettle unusual for French hotels.

No lift which wouldn't be so bad but the stairs were a spiral and narrow staircase. Not good if you have weak knees.

Late check in was very smooth. We had a brief stay between midnight and 7 am. Good value and comfortable.

Ver enjoyable

The room was tastefully furnished. I did not have breakfast but it was offered although I did have lunch there which was excellently prepared. I have no complaints with the hotel which was better than expected. I would stay here again because it is very central and a very pleasant place to stay.

The stairs at the hotel, which in all fairness are describe in the advert. The big problem is the parking outside. Plenty of it and not a problem finding a spot but the restrictions meant that you have to reticket it every 2 hours during the day )9:00 - 19:00 at 3 Euro a time it only adds to the experience over 2.5 hours and it is 35 euros which is presumably the full day rate. There is cheaper parking not far away but if you struggle walking long distances you might be challenged a bit.

Although on the second floor, our room was very comfortable, with a view looking towards the Cathedral, We parked our bikes by the cathedral, but didnt know there was a market on saturdays, ALL was well though, Cracking place for a short stay.

We stayed in the hotelbecause we had booked the morning ferry which left at 06.00! The room was clean, warm (it was a very cold night) the beds were comfortable and the hotel staff were very pleasant and very helpful.

The shower door was broken but still worked and was no big problem...

Nice Overnight Stay

The room was a good size and clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a kettle for tea and coffee.

The check in is a bit later than we are used to at 5pm but we knew this from booking so were prepared.

we did not get the accommodation we booked. putting our guests on a sofa bed when they have booked twin room with 2 singles is unacceptable and we will not book again.
