Fine for a short stay in Dieppe.

Nice location on Dieppe’s main street. The room itself was bright, clean and pleasingly neutral in decor. Nice bathroom . There is also a handy black out blind to counter the brightness of the street lights.

Interesting almost cryptic procedure to locate the keys and negotiate the various doors and stairways that lead to the room but if you stick to the instructions you will eventually reach your destination and be surprised by its niceness. Tip: to open the key box cover outside you need to press both buttons on either side of the box, one being invisible!

Location was great- facility was great.

No one to meet you. Hard to get our luggage in the first set of steps. Good thing we just brought our small carryon in. A little difficult with language barrier even with the translater on phone.

The accomodation was clean and lovely and the location was fantastic.

Please remember that some older people don't access their email when away so it would have been helpful for you to send the information about the property to my phone number, It was very hard to find. Also it would be useful to translate the information into English for all the people doing a short trip to Dieppe.

Great stay in a well situated apartment.

The apartment is perfect, very clean and bright. It has a big comfortable bed and a very good shower room. It is in a lively pedestrianised road in the centre of town. Really good position for beach, museum, the ferry terminal and onward travel. Lots of shops and restaurants and the harbour close by.

The stairs up to the apartment on the third floor were quite steep which we were okay with but it may prove difficult for some.

I repeat I ended up unable to get in, I can go into further detail, and I would like a refund.

Quite frankly I was appalled by Booking.com's misrepresentation of this property. I had advised the host I was arriving late, I was under the impression there was parking, It was incredibly difficult to find, I had to park illegally, and ask help from tourists! The entire experience was appalling, and I ended up unable to stay, and had to drive 6 hrs through the night, home! I would like a refund, and have the issues I faced dealt with,

Clean basic apartment suited us for 1 night stop over.

Clean apartment, good sized bed, good location for restaurants.

Access is difficult- hard to get the correct key for the correct door then a very winding staircase- difficult with suitcases! Very few facilities in the kitchen. Very bright room even with the blind down. Quite a walk to parking. Chairs really uncomfortable to sit on.

A great location in the centre of town. The street was not noisy as the restaurants close early. Messaging the owner was easy with prompt replies. Directions to access the property were easy to follow. The shower was brilliant. Wifi was very good.

There was nowhere to put suitcases. It was a bit overfurnished.

I thought some one was going to meet me and we had to go in a shop to ask wasn't easy to find but we didn't realise we had to find a key lock until the lady in the shop told us then we looked on our phone to see all the information how to get in as we have never experienced doing this before and we no now it OK but you could let people know in advance roughly what involves beforehand.

Cute apartment, not great for light sleepers. 😕

We appreciated the prompt online communication from the property owner before our visit. The apartment was in a good location in the town centre, a short walk from the rail station, beach, castle, shops, bars and restaurants. Clean bedlinen, towels and a tea towel, a comfortable bed, a small but fully functional bathroom, and nice juliette balcony opening onto street, all met our expectations. We were happy to stay here for just the one night.

I sent the owner an email the evening before our arrival, as we'd not received any instructions about how to access the accommodation...received a prompt and detailed reply including photos and a contact phone number, which was really helpful... but still found that getting from the street to our room was quite a challenge (though we felt very secure, once inside our room!) Although not a problem for us, the spiral staircase is steep and narrow, and could be difficult for some people to negotiate. There is minimal kitchen equipment, just enough to eat or reheat "take out" food in a microwave or to make a drink, but not really enough to prepare food from scratch, so it's good that there's plenty of restaurants nearby. Despite having the curtains drawn, a security light from neighbouring premises disturbed us during the night, switching on and off at regular intervals. There was also music with a heavy base beat playing until the early hours, although the street outside was empty... next morning, the cleaning lady explained we'd been unlucky that our visit had coincided with a local resident who occasionally plays loud music, but that it's not a regular occurrence. Had it not been for this, I'd happily recommend this apartment for an overnight stay.

All communication was in French which required translation. Obtaining the keys in the dark at midnight was a bit of a challenge.

The key was available at the brasserie but we were directed to one entrance that was open but empty.

We liked two things: its very central position; its cleanness.

Access was difficult. Exiting was also difficult. Breakfast was not provided. It was noisy.

Superb

We loved this little studio room. The location could not be more central. The room was big enough for us and also had a small well equipped kitchenette in it. Look in the cupboards and drawers for utensils etc. The shower was also good and the host had placed a hairdryer, toothpaste and shower gel in the drawers under the sink. The view from the large window down the main street was great too

The only thing I wished could have been better was that the curtains were very thin. It's also worth noting that if you don't like stairs then this might not be for you.

unlike most chambre d’hôte, there was no breakfast, and we never met our host. the description said parking, but it was at the beach. we were not shown how to exit the exterior door, so we were stuck there until someone came along

Good value and a great location for a 1 or 2-night stay if you are reasonably fit.

Good value and an excellent central location in the pedestrianised main street. Tha apartment has everything you need for a short (one- or two-night?) stay, if you are reasonably fit. A very large and excellent farmers and fishermen's street market on Saturday mornings. An historic cafe and restaurant on the "pointy" corner 100 or so metres away. Great for breakfast, coffee, or lunch.

The apartment is above a shop at the top of a 4- storey building - lots and lots of stairs (for us seniors!).

It was OK but I wouldn't rush back

Very central location. Very clean. Comfy bed. Good price for what and where it was.

No breakfast offered. Room smelt strongly of bleach when we arrived. The street was noisy throughout the night and light because of street lamps, with no black out curtains. Could hear people walking about above us.
