Handy for hotel near airport

Very near airport so handy as my flight had been cancelled to the following morning and just needed a place to sleep. Restaurant was nice, ok choice

Taxi ordered through reception (the only option at 4am) would not give proper receipt so I couldn’t get refunded by my airline.

Friendly staff, close to airport, wifi/breakfast NOT included in price, shuttle doesn't always run

The staff was very polite. The woman at the front desk was particularly friendly. The room was surprisingly quiet and the bed was comfortable. The airport shuttle (when actually available) was convenient.

I paid €90 for the room, and then had to pay an additional €6.50 city tax. This seemed like a lot, and especially because this did not include wifi, nor did it include breakfast. The room's outlets need updating. Nowhere to charge your phone near the bed. Even at the desk in the room, I had to get on my knees to plug in. The shuttle from the airport doesn't run all the time. I arrived at 17:00 and had to pay €16 for a taxi.

Comfortable

Very bright comfortable room with balcony and view over the garden. Bed was comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Food in the bar was cheaper than the restaurant. I had what they call a small pizza for €8. It was 12 inches! The tiramisu was €7. Enormous and delicious. Beer was the average price for an airport hotel. No noise from the traffic.

This is supposed to be an airport hotel. However, their shuttle doesn't run between 12.30pm and 9.30pm. so you must either walk or take a taxi. I paid €17 for a taxi. It's possible, although not recommended, to walk. There is a grass verge but no pavements and the roads are busy. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. So you must pay for a coffee at the bar or wait for breakfast. What I find most disturbing though is that the management doesn't seem to read any of these reviews. Nearly every one I read mentions the limited shuttle times and lack of coffee making facilities. However, there isn't one reply from the hotel management. It's a let down for what otherwise is a very comfortable hotel with great staff.

not 4 star. and only close to the airport in theory, in practice hard to reach.

the mattress

everything else. the "high speed" internet they claimed to have was intermittent and slow. the shuttle to and from the airport was respectively 30 minutes late and non existent. (even after contacting them to arrange one, as they write in the initial description of the property). the reception is not attentive, i called to tell them the internet wasn't working and it took 3 calls for them to finally send someone who didn't fix the problem anyway. I found an half emptied bottle of shampoo (clearly used by the previous guests) in the bathroom toiletries. the corridor where i has staying had trash bags laying freely on the floor. this is not a 4 star hotel, by far.

Decent for what it is

Decent hotel for the purpose it serves (early morning flight). The kind of place you book in an emergency when you’ve missed your flight!Shuttle to and from airport is handy but hours are kind of restrictive. Staff were helpful and professional.

The design is quite outdated. The room felt old and smelled like old stale cigarette smoke. The cooling/air system made a loud noise all night. The coffee bar is very overpriced (4 euros for a double espresso).

Great location for airport proximity

Proximity to the airport, comfort of the room, free transfer to the terminal and great staff.

I would have preferred to know that the bar had a menu for late snacks to avoid ordering takeaway, a few minor maintenance and cleanliness issues.

Convenient stay in a very average hotel with some question marks about hygiene

Close to the airport, reasonably priced, good restaurant in the hotel. Bedding seemed clean. Personnel ok.

Corridors DIRTY. Worn carpets, not clean, dust, pieces op paper on the carpet. Dour smell. Bathroom fixtures worn, tiles that look old and dirty(they maybe clean, but they don’t look the part.

Easy sleep during a layover in bologna

Close to airport, easy check in, good shuttle to airport in the morning though got a taxi there as arrived very late.

Nothing, would be nice if the shuttle ran 24hours (or to meet incoming flights) but I understand that may not always be practical.

Overpromising

Overall look of the hotel.

Yellow colour of water in a bathroom, broken elevators, unhelpful receptionist, and no sorry for needing to drag heavy luggage 2 floors up without a help. Also, times of free transport from/to the hotel are very limited, it is viable option only for someone with their own car, not planning to come back to the city centre or not carrying about the cost of taxis.

Confusing about the car park especially late at night. There was a barrier for very secure parking but it seemed to involve a fee. We parked in spaces outside the barrier for free

Great, spacious room, has all you need. Shuttle service to the airport is another advantage.

Location is not exceptional, BUT staff is very friendly! They respond in time to all messages and they are super polite! Room was very clean and nice :) Also, the shuttle for the airport was included in the price - which is fantastic.

Great for someone needing a stay close to airport!

Perfect location for an early flight. It was very clean and the room was spacious and cool. There was cold water in the fridge. :-) The airport shuttle was perfect!

Definately not recomended.

- Extremely dirty bathroom - Very bad plumbing, all the water was coming out of the designated shower place. - Room space was very small, i doubt the areas which is put on booking. - The staff was not helpful in any way. I booked it for my father who is in his 60s, he didnt find any comfort and cooperation.

ideal hotel for it’s location next to the airport with pleasant staff and a friendly atmosphere

the hotel was very nice and clean and it’s location just a short distance from the airport was perfect for what we wanted. The staff were polite professional and friendly without being ‘too much’

Great value for money deal

Although the hotel is located just outside the Bologna airport, the ambient around it is quite pleasant, hotel is surrounded by trees and greenery. Hotel has quite spacious parking, so if you are traveling by car and you want a safe place to leave your vehicle while exploring the city, this is a perfect place to do so. Rooms are well equipped, clean and cosy. Breakfast is amazing and it exceeds by far the standard Italian breakfast offer. All in all, this is a great value for money deal.

very bad bathroom, clogged drains in sink and shower, promoted as a conference hotel but not even plugs to charge a phone, no water kettle in the room and substandard breakfast
