Nice surprise.

Rooms are very big. Exceptionally big. Staff is very helpful. Is pretty close to a restaurant and of course is close to the airport. That was the main reason to book there. There is an underground parking with extra fee but it exists and that is good.

In order to get out from the underground parking you need to use the key card provided from the reception. For some reason that card does not work and we were kind of stuck there. Reception was closed as we leaved at 5 AM and we need to catch flight. There is an emergency number that we called and the person arrive in 5 minutes. But please PUT a BIG BUTTON to open the parking from inside. No need to wake up people in the morning just because the cards are not associated properly.

Room had spiders and stink bugs in the room. Room needs a deep clean then a newer look. Stained carpet. The web site does not tell you they stop the pick up from the airport in the afternoon.

Used to Be Reliable, But Quality Has Dropped

I’ve stayed at this property several times during different visits to Bologna. The rooms are very spacious, and when booked at a lower price, it offers decent value for money. The staff is generally helpful. The location can be good if you know your way around the city, but keep in mind that you’ll need to use public transport (bus or train) to reach the city center. As of June 2025, there’s major construction in the area which has affected bus routes and schedules, so getting around might take some extra planning.

Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably declined. The room needs a deep clean—drapes were dirty, and it could really use a fresh coat of paint. The lights in our bedroom didn’t work, and no one came to check or change the bulbs despite us reporting it. What was most frustrating during our last stay was the excessive messaging about check-in. We had already informed the staff about our delayed flight and were ready to pay the late check-in fee, but they kept asking for updates at every step—boarding, landing, getting a taxi—as if we were reporting to a family member, not staying at a hotel. Also, the air conditioning only works when the key card is inserted in the room, so coming back after a hot day out meant returning to a stiflingly warm room—not ideal in nearly 40°C weather. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend staying here anymore unless you get a very low price. The comfort and overall experience no longer justify the regular rates.

If i ever need to stay again in Borgo Panigale will be my choice for sure

Maybe the largest room i ever stayed.Very clean!The people in reception are excellent amd may more than excellent! 8-10 minutes walk to train station to get to Bologna center or a bus stop right on the next block!Safe parking for my motorbike and a walkable distance to Ducati museum!

Exactly as expected.

Extremely nice staff, who did help us to find our way into the Bologna city centre and a good place to have breakfast next morning. Very large apartments and they have been very clean. We also have been able to find free nearby parking locations on the street.

The only missing thing was a "vending machine" to buy snacks and drinks. This would be a nice add-on. Perhaps there is one and we just didn't find it?

Perfect for solo travelling

It’s really well located- though there was some work being done on the road to get there. The staff were incredibly nice! My room wasn’t completely ready when i got the at 14:30 but the cleaning staff was incredibly sweet and finished it up in 10 minutes.

I spent a while trying to figure out the AC. Im not sure that i did but since i had to stay in and work I couldn’t run down and ask. The temperature did drop so sleeping was very comfortable

Good base to discover Bologna and the surroundings

The hotel was easily reachable from the airport, even walkable distance without luggage. A train station was close and it was easy to reach the city center. Bus is also an option, but it is much slower. I mainly stayed there for sleeping, and the microwave was a big plus. I could do the check in earlier. The receptionists were always really helpful and flexible, that was a big plus. Also I could leave my luggage on the last day after check out.

I missed to explicitly ask to clean the room, but there was no cleaning during my stay. I did not complain about that, I only missed to supply new washing gel. The weather was warmer than expected, but the air conditioning could not be activated. Considering a flexibility and the last minute booking at a good price overall I was much more happy than unhappy.

I went to Bologna in end of Oct 23, and it was crazy expensive. They changed almost 1200 euros for 6 nights without breakfast. It’s crazy.

Area too far, overpriced, hard bed, no instructions to use induction stove, I.e. how it won’t work without special plate! Took 1 hr to figure out! Then reception showed up after I figured it out! No comfortable smoking area.

Great studio with small kitchenette and dining table. It was perfectly clean and prepared. The air conditioning and refrigerator were working great. The staff was very friendly and helping. We stayed for two nights, but longer stay would also be viable.

Coveniently located with very clean rooms including all the basic necessities!

Big rooms, very clean with good sheets and towels. Kind and helpful reception staff and it is very convenient to come and go, and take the bus down town. Also in the area there are al the basic facilities you need. also we had a view from the 7th floor and it was great!

The artificial perfume sprayed on the curtains was a bit too much… coupled with a pretty hard mattress the sleeping experience wasn’t top notch.
