Apartments Palace Kolovare

Terrace, view,comfortable bed, ac very good, couch comfortable, cooker, fridge good, shower very good, a local supermarket near by had mist of what we needed.

Really missed microwave, toaster, didn't mind nit having a dish washer, but the shortage of worktop space was a big inconvenience.

The flat is great. It's new, clean, secure, homey and super walkable to the historic district. It made for a very enjoyable visit to Zadar and walking to the Sea Organ for sunset. There is noise - you can hear coughs and sneezes from the adjoining flat and from the street/people walking by outside - but it didn't bother us. This stay would have been a fantastic experience if not for the issue below.

Bizarre check-in. The host asked if I’d ring them an hour before arrival so they could meet us, so I did. Then they said they wanted to send key retrieval info on WhatsApp, which we don’t have. Then they said they’d text it. What's wrong with the booking.com platform that's meant for messages between host and guest? 21 text messages later - no joke - I asked them to just meet us at the property because now we were delayed in getting in because of their changes to the check-in process. The host showed up angry and snippy, saying she didn’t see a problem with so many texts and she’s very helpful to her guests, and once she gave me the key, she was outta there (why tell a guest who's been inconvenienced how helpful you are?). We received canned-type texts during our stay about how much they wanted us to enjoy Zadar, etc. My suggestion – simply perform check-in as you chose to commit to it and don’t be angry about it. Maybe even print out some of that “helpful” information on the texts and have it on the table for guests to reference. No need to soil the impression of the flat with so much drama. BTW maintenance comments – the toilet runs and drips constantly, and internet access was good for one device at a time. My husband and I had to take turns or use our own hotspot for both of us to be online. One instant coffee and zero tea bags for two adults for two nights. Not welcoming.

Perfect location for swimming and walking into the beautiful old town. Really clean and modern apt with parking, had all we needed!

Very nice apartment

Check in was horrible for a 79 year old non tech guy who doesn’t speak Croatia Only thanks to two college gals we would have never communicated with the host and gotten in. It took over 30 minutes for these 2 gals to help is who they didn’t know.
