A pleasant stay with super friendly & helpful host!

Good location close to train station, supermarket & restaurants Cozy & spacious enough for 3 pax Washing machine with laundry area for our use Host Benedetta was super friendly, helpful & responsive even at night, & even came to say goodbye on our last day!

Long narrow path & multiple stairs with limited lighting to get to the property; difficult for those with mobility issues or heavy luggage Tight space in the shower & toilet Would have been great if hand wash, shower gel & shampoo could be provided

Damp / ammonia smell very noticeable particularly after rain. The sofa bed could do with an upgrade if selling as a third person bed. Rubbish / recycle system could be labeled to help with sorting.

Great seaside village

The location of Monterosso is perfect, a few stairs but fairly flat for this hillside beach. The beach and access was very nice with cafes and restaurants along the promenade

For the first few days the room smelt of mould and was musty. The turtles were an interesting feature at the beginning, however, they became quite 'active' in the mornings.

Great Location, Clean, Quiet Apartment

The apartment was clean and in a great location. It was close to several shops, restaurants, the train station, and the beaches. The outdoor patio area was nice and we liked the turtles and lemon trees. The master bedroom was big, with plenty of space. The kitchen was adequate and the AC was great. We also liked the beach towels.

The bathroom was small and the pictures of the property showed an ocean view, which we did not have. Not sure where those photos came from on the website.

The apartment was well equipped and spotless. The location was great, within walking distance to the beach and markets. The host was very kind and helpful.

There are a lot of stairs and skinny walkways. This can be challenging for big heavy baggage.

Great location, great host and great place to stay.

Brilliant location in Monterosso. Had everything you needed; essentially as described and shown in photos. Benedetta was helpful and came and met us, even though it was pouring with rain, which made it so easy to find the place, unlike some other poor souls who we saw searching for their place. She was responsive and good at communication. It has a lovely outdoor area which we couldn't use because it was cold and wet but which I imagine would be a delight in better weather.

Spy in backyard

I like the apartment was spacious and we had our own backyard. The room had air-conditioning and kitchen which we could use.

There were a lot of steps to get to the accommodation and the room had no basic food items like tea, milk and butter. The owner lived upstairs and they were not flexible at all with checkout time to be delayed ever for 30 minutes. I clearly said I have a baby and need extra 30 minutes to check out but she refused and said you can leave baggage outside and out of the apartment by 10am. This was so rude she started cleaning the backyard at 9:45am like spying on us.

we enjoyed our three night stay! would come back again

the property was clean , quiet, with a well equipped kitchen. we appreciated being provided with beach towels and some spices and coffee for the espresso maker. lovely garden sitting area with beautiful lemon trees (the owner allowed us to pick some lemons!) Fairly close to the train station and beach and easy access to the hiking trails

we didn’t realize there were many steps from the road to reach the unit. a little hard with luggage.

Once you found location was a good place to stay

The bed was comfortable and we had a large courtyard with lemon trees out the back . The property also had a washing machine and was secure and safe

Shower was small (a larger person would struggle ) however water pressure great Lounge not comfortable but you could sit outside Awkward to find property

our time spent there was limited and the weather challenging but would be lovely in the warmer months.

comfy bed warm as the weather was wet windy and cold no Netflix or chrome cast options

the scented smell in the kitchen zone a fully set up kitchen but no toaster whilst close to the train station there was no mention of the stairs and steep incline to actually reach the property from the road and signposting for the property could be better as it wasn’t easy to find.

Lovely town and spacious apartment

Close to town and sea and station. Clean and well furnished and spacious for two people. Responsive and welcoming hosts. Lovely bars/ cafes inside railway station and also Gio on the sea front. December visit so others were closed.

As it was winter, the flat was quite dark , not a problem in summer I guess. Can be hard to find , so the hosts meeting us on the road was essential.

Location was great!

The apartment was just 5 minutes away from the station and the beach. We met the owner in a nearby restaurant and she let us check-in early which was amazing. The apartment was well furnished and had everything you need.

A lovely week enjoying these beautiful towns

The location was excellent, an easy walk to the beach and the train station. The apartment had everything we needed, local mini Market was useful and plenty of restaurants

There was nowhere to park the car so we had to use the public parking which was 25 euros per day

cosy and comfortable!!

The apartment was very clean and well maintained. it had a wonderful garden where you can enjoy your morning coffee listening to birds and smelling the beautiful orange and jasmine trees. the hostess is very thorough and provided everything you can think of; toiletries, towels, cups… etc. there was even tea to enjoy. there is a well equipped kitchen and an outdoor washing machine which came in very handy to wash clothes after a day on the beach.

the stairs.. be prepared to drag your luggage up and down quite a number of stairs. so better pack lightly.

Amazing place to stay in 5 Terre

This place is amazing! A nice and cozy house, very central (5 min from the train station) and you don’t need to climb up or go thought non ending stairs, and that is a plus in 5 Terre. Benedetta is an amazing host! I truly recommend this lovely house.

location close to station but it requires some stairs up to the. apartment ; water pressure is comfortable

very noise the train station is close - one of the benefits but the negative side is the train passes from 5 am to midnight… especially for the third person sleeping in the sofa bed in the living room the linen standard is a bit bad and rough, to be specific is that it does not meet the even mid scale hotel segment … so the apartment is a bit pricey; kitchen wasn't cleaned well as the sponges and plates were too dirty to use; moreover, the host still owe us one Euro change for the city tax but obviously he doesn't remember, it s a matter of trust and integtity !

Exceptional

Could walk to train station, not too many stairs to get to property compared to other areas. Lots of restaurants and beach within a short walk. grocery store down the road. Garden court yard was a lovely spot to relax. Washing machine and clothes airier to use. The most comfortable bed and pillow of our trip.

As it was self contained we bought groceries for breakfast, Oils, salt and pepper etc. would have been handy as very expensive to buy these items if only staying a couple of nights-there was tea and coffee and washing powder that was handy. no safe that I could find. It was very close to train track so a little noisy when trains went through

Séjour très reposant. En revanche, 2 jours suffisent sur place.

Le logement était très bien situé, proche de la plage et des restaurants, tout en ayant une terrasse digne d’un havre de paix. Bien desservie grâce au train.
