I like the location to close from city centre but the room it's clean but not comfortable
The bathroom was isolated from the rooms, which was very uncomfortable. There was no wardrobe, the bathroom window was broken, it was very cold, and the bed shook a lot.
I liked the location; it's close to the city center, Christmas market, restaurants, and shops.

Conned by a conman who is facilitated by booking.com
There is nothing good about this guesthouse. It's location next to NUI Galway for those who need to be there is the only possible positive.
The room is advertised as having heating. It is freezing and they turn off the heating entirely from about 9pm to 7am - the temperature in the bedroom as I was trying to go to sleep was the same as the temperature in the street outside. Not enough bedding. Thin duvet in a cold room. Home-made bed that sounds and feels like it is going to collapse. You can't read in bed, as a bunkbed built to overhang the main bed blocks the light. No shelves or cupboards. No coffee. No staff - this is stated by some as an easy no-frills access via pincode, but there is no one to complain to about anything. External bathroom across the landing. No shower gel or toiletries. Access by an old and narrow staircase - it is hard to even shut the door behind you and hard to take luggage up and downstairs. No food - the booking.com page highlights the Mocha Beans cafe connected to the property, but this shuts in the afternoon. They also highlight Cafe West 37 a few doors down - note this is also a Mocha Beans outlet and so they are directing you to their own establishments. That also shuts in the afternoon. Then they highlight Matt's takeaway a few doors further down - which also shuts in the afternoon. I ended up buying a Pot Noodle from Centra as there was nowhere in the vicinity to buy any food from at 8pm. This owner is running a fraudulent business model, claiming to provide heating and that eateries are nearby. Did I say the photos of the room don't match the reality? This isn't worth 30 euros a night. It is very similar to simply sleeping in the street. I will be demanding a debit charge full chargeback. I was booked to stay two nights, but after not a single second of sleep on the first night, I decided to abandon Galway entirely and go back to Dublin. Don't even consider staying here.

Good!
The room is clean and warm. Not far from the city centre.
Very little space for even one person. He doesn't have breakfast.

Clean and easy to access with the key code. Bathroom was very clean.
The bed in room 2 is very squeaky and needs addressing.

I think for the price it was a decent place just really hated that the bathroom was across the hall
That it wasn’t to far of a walk from things
Our bathroom was across the hall

Super location and great brunch menu in cafe downstairs with friendly service an discount for guests
Attention to detail - bottled water, teabags, wool throw, good lighting, Velux blind, etc. everything available and in working order. Traditional charm yet fresh and well equipped.
I couldn't open the roof light. Room could have been aired more if roof light opened.

Convenient and affordable
The room was spacious and the bed was super comfy. Within walking distance to the city centre
Room was hot and stuffy but thats the rare Irish summer

Spend a little extra and stay somewhere else.
Good location. 2km walk from Eyre square.
The entrance hall was dark, dreary and dirty. The room was so small, a single bunk above a double bed. Climbing over the bed to access the window. No space for a case or to walk. The ladder to access the bunk was lethal. Kept popping off the rail when my child attempted to climb it. The noise from traffic was terrible and the room was boiling. No tv. No milk for the tea bags provided. No coffee for the coffee jug provided. The bathroom was across the hall and the door was a very difficult to open fire door because of the mechanism. My children and I were both hurt opening the door. The sheets were thrown on the bed and crumpled. The mattress was stained and the paintwork was dirty and chipped. Parking? We had to wait 40 minutes with hazard lights on for a customer using the coffee shop below to vacate one of the 5 parking spaces.

Lovely
Loved our stay here! Close to the centre and convenient. Cafe down stairs is lovely would come back. Less on the luxury side bit a clean and good stay.
Nothing major could do with a fan when it’s hot!

Bliss. Beautiful experience in a tiny cozy space.
It’s got all you need in a tiny space, really well organized and good for solo traveller. Comfortable bed, was very warm in Galway so a bit warm sleeping but ok. Great location - I liked the walk through Uni Galway to town each day and had a beautiful day on Gratton Beach. All walkable in 20. The cafe is just lovely. And a Tesco at the corner for your needs. Super tidy and clean. Wifi dipped out a bit the second night but mostly was good. It has your basics, good for short stay. I walked everywhere but bus stops right out front too.
We had a false fire alarm which seems to happen as there were instructions on how to reset the alarm but the Italian guests there too would not have known how as in English. No responses from either of the cell phone numbers or the email provided when contacted, so glad we worked it out. You can hear other people a bit as close quarters but I expected that so was not fussed at all.

Satisfied
Staff was very cooperative.
Room was comfortable.
Lighting was not so good, needed improvement. Kettle was bit rusty, for which i requested to change but the same issue persisted even after changing.
There should be a room fridge as well.

Terrible, I would not return or recommend.
The residents in the rooms next door were very noisy throughout the night. The blinds were not effective in keeping light out. My room was at the front and main road, which was busy. The windows could not have been fitted to reduce noise. I had little or no sleep
As stated above, there was nothing to like. The advert indicated bed and breakfast, however after paying, the confirmation stated I had to pay 12 euro extra for breakfast.

Reasonably priced for Galway which reflects what is offered.
Comfortable bed. Room clean. Good shower. Airy bright bedroom. Very convenient to Hospital. Parking available. Breakfast not included but nice breakfast available in coffee shop below premises at reduced price. Staff very good there.
Duvet cover felt damp. Could not use it so had a poor night’s sleep. One set of plugs beside bed do not work. No milk provided for tea making. Adjacent bathroom could do with painting ceiling. Did not like that you had to go into hallway to access bathroom. Entrance stairs very dark and grotty. Could do with painting, and perhaps a lighter colour. Air freshener overpowering in hallway. And lingered into bedroom.

Lovely stay
Location very good
There were teabags and cups but no milk or coffee but we went to the shop near by so all was good

Only as a last resort
Location was ok and I was able to park outside
The bed was so incredibly cheap and uncomfortable for the mattress to the frame to the pillows. For 150 euro a night I’d expect the most basic requirement which is modest comfort. The price was way out of line with what was provided.

Good for one to two overnight stays.
The staff in charge were easy to get in contact with and help with query.
The separate cafe Mocha Beans downstairs cooked the best pancakes and crispy bacon in the morning ..10% was taken off overall breakfast price.
Good location and low price on room for overnight stay.
Room was clean.
I also got overnight parking right at the accommodation site which was a plus.
Perfect for a one night stay but to the front it's very noisy to the main road ...personally I found the pillows very uncomfortable but the bed was very comfortable and clean fresh sheets were fitted.
Nice clean bathroom and towels
There is no TV.
Not sure about WiFi as had my own .

Quiet and convenient
Breakfast was not included but being above the coffee shop was great! We liked the location as it was away from the busy tourist area
Wifi was a little challenging, door to the room was very heavy and somewhat loud when closing

Certaintly would never return
Located beside our required appointment. The host was responsive but too late.
The entrance was what created first impression, cigarettes and dirty. Room was far too small, the photo showed on Booking.Com looked like a comfortable room, however this is a very deceiving aspect as the bed with bunk above takes up the entire room. You can just about walk around the edges. The radiator was switched off in the room, which was discovered on our return & room was freezing. The adjoining bathroom was open and used by several other house occupants, the urine in the toilet on arrival was not a welcome sight! Then the next morning two different men were used the facilities attached to Room 2 & they took the towels! We then had no towels for two of our party to shower! Another gentleman located a store & we obtained towels. This ‘room’ is only fit to sleep in & leave, which we promptly did. Not enough options to add more photos! Chipped furniture in room, clumps of dust in room, left it on the shelf! Hot tap in bathroom swinging around and top open and paint all peeling from ceiling. The host offered a refund but this is yet to be seen.

One time thing but never again.
Very close to all that one needs. Breakfast/cafe nearby, shops, take aways and hospital. Close to bus routes as well to get in and out of galway city centre.
No tv in the room, no information reagrding if the room was a bunk bed (as i travelled with a child with special needs), cleaned off the sheets ready for them to be cleaned and found the mattress was stained/soiled. No kettle or tea/coffee in room. Place felt like a hostel room and was too over priced for what we paid at €300 for 2 nights.

Very pleasant, comfortable and warm.
Property was nice and lovely and warm. I can see why you don’t have one but a hair dryer would be great and a tea bag. Very clean. Great location. Easy to find and access.
Bathroom across the corridor.

disappointing stay.
Near to hospital.
No cold water in sink in bathroom. Hot water tap would not turn off, had great difficulty in getting it off. All the taps were loose. Cover for drain in shower was missing , so you had a hole in the shower floor and you had to be careful. Housekeeping had to see those hassards. No fire plan.

Perfect for the basics
Close enough to the city and under the rooms
Loud noises from a another room ( even though it was dealt with very quickly which is a positive ) taps in bathroom didn’t run properly
Could be done up more as it was very run down

A great location with aspects that could improve
Location was great! Easy access to the room with the code. It was nice to have the cafe right underneath the accommodation.
The bathroom being across the hallway, very heavy doors, could hear people arrive home and be noisy late at night.

This was a good place to stay aside from the water issues.
Comfortable bed, clean, good location, easy entry, easy free parking.
No hot water for 2 days. Barely usable faucets in sink.

Nice cheap room for what we needed which was clean.
We had an external private bathroom but a lot of the other guests were using it and we had to wait around.

Room is small but very clean with very nice clean private bathroom and comfortable single bed.
It's nice location short walk or bus 3 stops from city center..
Good place especially for short stay.
Small window on the ceiling is hard to rich. The rooms doors are bit noisy when the other people come I and out. No radio or Tv..
