The Sliding Rock Inn

Location good.. Short walk to centre. Breakfast was included and was v filling and lovely. Rooms were quiet and bed comfy. It had everything we needed. Staff were v helpful with any requests and allowed us to check in early as we had an event to get to. Parking was free which is good in Galway.

Cat parking was tight. We got sorted and everything was fine but if it's busy there might not be enough spaces for everyone. Our room was quite small, a friend booked in also and his room was much bigger... So that's luck of the draw..

Very comfortable, very kind staff, very affordable and very walkable. Lot of ways to say very good! I especially enjoyed just how kind and lighthearted the staff were, and that it was right next to one of my favorite restaurants!

Only issues were that there was someone chucking something heavy and metal out back when I was trying to sleep, and that there was a tad bit of mold when I got my toast in the morning. I have no complaints about the vast majority of the experience though, and would book again!

Great place to stay with a great pub, great people working, food and breakfast amazing. The parking makes everything easier, its in a walking distance of city center. Rooms are nice and beds comfortable.

Everything was good, if i had to say something I would say abplug inside the bathroom.

The bar was good!

When I read about this place it said the bar was connected but my accommodations ended up being a few blocks away which was slightly annoying. Bedroom window barely opened & no fan was provided so sleeping was very uncomfortable. & when I arrived both the front door & my room were ajar so I didn’t realize until 12 am that my key card wasn’t actually working lol not the best feeling being a solo traveler in a new country. I got lucky that there were still a few people outside of the bar that new the managers & called them for me or else I would have been completely alone & probably would have had to call the police.
