Very nicely set out. Fantastic staff and service
The location was a bit of challenge - not much around it in regards to shops and restaurants. Also cars unable to get within 400m of the accommodation meant challenges if there was bad weather

At first we booked just for 1 night, but then decided to extend for another night. So we stayed in 2 different Villas.
We enjoyed the stay. Very private area with private pool. Super clean and cozy place. Very quietđđ»

Everyone from the staff were really kind and helpful.
We book the One Bedroom Deluxe Mezzanine Villa, was spacious and comfortable.
The breakfast needs improvement, but also the restaurant itself has many steps ahead for improvement.
The surrounding place was a bit off because you couldnât tell which is part of the Villa- which not. The pick up place for a taxi is quite away and walking towards there specially at night can be dangerous cause there are sewer holes. All of those somehow left weird feelingsâŠ

The location was great and the breakfast was great too.
We had some trouble with the electrical power points, that's just about it.

Everything. Location and room was beautiful. The staff incredibly attentive, chatty and happy. Very happy
Only thing I can think is as its close to the rice fields we got bitten a lot so make sure to keep topped up with bug spray.

It was beatiful and the food was also good.
The pool and thr garden could have been cleaner. It was not dirty though

Beautiful staff, our deluxe mezzanine villas were clean & lovely.
The adjoining âGood Dayâ facilities were not as good as expected. The pool had a lot of broken & loose tiles which could cut feet so we didnât swim in that pool.

We arrived at reception, and then a buggy took us to our villa and were shown around and given the keys
Nothing, i was perfect.

The location just outside the main business district of ubud was great, it was charming to have the resort located amongst the rice fields for a more country-side appeal. The villa was comfortable enough ( when the heat was intense the pool came in handy)
I enjoyed watching the nature thrive in our accommodation (a large resident gecko took care of mosquitos and other bugs in our villa)
Cooking facilities were available if we wanted to use
The staff were friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the on-site spa facilities
The breakfast was ok ( had to order to go 2 out of 3 times)

The staff at the villa were extremely polite, welcoming, helpful, and very attentive. They made our stay even more enjoyable with their kindness and warm hospitality

Loved the location - beautiful scenery , very laid back and serene.
Staff very responsive on the Whatâs App messaging
The air conditioning wasnât working when we checked in , luckily the staff fixed it quickly. The villa advertised a sofa bed downstairs in the delux mezzanine, but when asked to have it made up, it all seemed too hard for them and they only provided a duvet, No sheets and didnât make it up. It included breakfast however you had to decide what you wanted to eat and the time the day before , which when youâre on holiday was too structured.
The main pool area looked very tired and in need of a clean up/maintenance/refresh.

Pretty good location as for Ubud. The villa was super cozy, with spacious bathroom and outside kitchen area. Spa was pretty nice too.
Even though the location on the map is good, however waiting for the buggy pickup every time was really annoying, if you are not driving a scooter i would not recommend this place as the taxi cannot come to the villa directly they will leave you at the pickup point. Besides that, everything was great.

Not much
No where does it say visitors have to be picked up in a golf cart and driven to the villas. A lot of drivers won't pick up at the drop off point very poor road.

We stayed 3 nights. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpfull. Love the flowers display on the swiming pool that was a fantastic surprise.
The remote location was nice and peacefull. Overall the experience was great.
At time some scooters were passing by our villa in the morning.

Calmness, private pool, very attentive staff, outdoor kitchen
Breakfast was a bit limited. Gaps in doors allowed bugs to get in to the room

If you wish to disconnect, this property is perfect. On arrival, Komang was there to greet us with a welcome smile and refreshment. During our stay, no request was too great.
Our Villa was gorgeous with daily housekeeping, making us feel special indeed. The facilities and staff, including those at the local spa and restaurant, were wonderful. Would definitely recommend Candy Villa

We travelled as a group of 8 people and hired 3 of the villas. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Villas were amazing and the restaurant was not far from our villas and was easily the best place we stayed in Bali for the 2 weeks we were there.
This was our third stay at Candy villa and highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Ubud

Lovely clean pool, efficient laundry service
Ran out of hot water and didnât seem to be a quick easy fix like Iâd hoped after having to ask 3 times to fix.
Cannot drive up to the reception, I did not realise this before booking and probably wouldnât have booked due to this - you have to walk to a pick up point to get collected. Not an issue if you have a bike though.

Full reception similar to hotel with even a grat attitude

The pool, little bar nearby and scenery
It is a little difficult to get in with luggage and you need a scooter to be picked up as cars can't get to main reception

All staff we spoke to was attentive, lovely and so helpful especially Putu, Diah, Sutri. From start to finish they made sure our stay was amazing and it was. Candy Villa is away from all the chaos that is in central of Ubud so we are glad we stayed here as it was so relaxing. We got a massage at the Good Day Spa which is over the road which was amazing, and also walked through the grounds and came across some restaurants / cafes that you wouldnât expect to see. For our first time in Bali we would definitely return to Candy Villa :)

Really unique setting and location- nice and quiet and off the beaten path- which we loved! If youâre looking for something with a vibrant nightlife perhaps look elsewhere. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Even with language barriers we were able to get everything sorted as needed. The buggy rides to and from drop off points, having private drivers sorted with ease by the front desk as well as the free shuttle into Ubud- all excellent! The facilities were really beautiful- we stayed in the one bedroom wooden villas- stunning private pool, cute little kitchen, epic bathroom- and a short buggy ride or walk to the Good Day restaurant, spa and larger pool.
The hot water situation for showers was hit or miss with consistency, and the daily cleaning was a bit of a mixed bag as well as far as what was completed and/or restocked. Cash (local currency) is needed for any off campus excursions booked- which is fine- but required extra forethought on our part!

Nothing.
Location is in interior and the cab can go to one point, then you need to call hotel for cart pick up. But pick up was prompt.

Lovely villas, with privacy and a private pool. The setting is delightful amongst the rice fields.
There was one vey noisy group tour which came through during our stay. The staff dealt with the issue very well.

The balinese style of villa. The bed was very comfortable and good size. All the rest was disappointing
I was disappointed by everything: the pool water was clean but the pool itself had several issues and needed redoing as the cement on the bottom is peeling off and the sides are full of moss. The doors to my room had large (5-7 cm wide) gaps so critters easily got in. The bathroom, which is outdoors, is a nuisance: whenever it rained, the toilet seat got wet, towels wet etc. The wardrobe is also outdoors, so I could not use it because insects would crawl inside and through my clothes - plus, because of the damp weather, clothes get damp too. The bedroom has NO desk, NO shelves, nothing to place my stuff : the suitcases remained on the floor, open with clothes all over the place. The bedroom has only a bed, two bedside tables, and a tv stand. that is all. The size of the room is very large, so I don't understand why they don't put in a desk which people usually need to do paperwork etc. The only table is placed outdoors (in the heat and getting wet when it rains). For these reasons my stay was really uncomfortable: My 2 suitcases were kept on the floor with clothes spread around made the place untidy at all times. Having paid a non refundable option, I ended up staying 5 nights; if it had been refundable I would have left immediately!
The worst part of my stay: on 2 separate days, the power was off - this was beyond their control of course, BUT all hotels have generators to keep air conditioning and the minimum lighting on. I was left several hours just with a torch just to have some minimumlight as the whole place was pitch dark - until late at night there was no sign of light. Additionally, there was no running water because pumps work with electricity! NOT having an electric generator is unbelievable
The villa is located really far from anything else. The only nearby restaurant was the one on the property which served average food. To get to some place, restaurant or bar, a taxi is needed. There is no way you can go on foot given the location

The location was great situated in the middle of a rice field, just a walk away from Good Day Resto & Pool Bar (same owners as the villas) and not too far on a bike to Ubud town. The staff were really helpful, they i proposed to my partner when out and about during the day and they organised the pool to be decorated and also a romantic dinner that night in Good Day Resto (with a fee of course)
Nothing really

The private pool was nice but could have done with more steps or seats in it. The decor in the villa was beautiful but sparse. No dining table to eat room service just a bar. Staff were friendly but service was slow.
The bed was an incredibly hard foam and the pillows were not good quality and also hard. The air con barely kept the villa cool. We asked for clean towels and they took the dirty ones but didnât bring clean ones. We asked multiple times through the day and someone finally brought us pool towels. When I asked for the bath towels too I was told there werenât any left and we would have to use pool towels. I asked again the next day for bath towels and finally got them around 3pm then had to ask a few more times if they could replace our pool towels as we had been using them to shower. I was very disappointed in the service we were provided.
Food and drinks at the restaurant (good day spa) were not enjoyable either, raw steak, sloppy pizza and unavailability on the menu. Many mosquitos here on dusk also. I was glad we could hire a scooter from reception so we could find somewhere else to eat as the villas are not near any other restaurants or walking distance to any. The villas are very close together and we had to listen to our neighbours music rather early in the morning and very loud. We asked for the buggy to pick us up on checkout and waited well past the 10min they said they would be ( this is after we had already been to the lobby to return the scooter and book the buggy for our required checkout time) we ended up walking with all our luggage as we had a driver waiting at the car park down the road. We were driven from the lobby to the carpark thankfully as itâs a fair walk.

Quiet , out of Ubud centre hustle
Big problem with rats , we had rats in our room during the night , we couldnât sleep properly , they were entering via holes in ceiling . No discount offered , no solution offered after we complained several times

We stayed in three bedroom villa. The pool area needs more lighting. The rooms also need brighter lights. The rooms have musty or damp smell. Even the bed linens smell musty. The restaurant and food were good. The staff were excellent.

We liked the private space. We liked that there was a daily shuttle going into and coming back from ubud central. The facilities were good. Room service was good, too. Staff were very helpful over Whatsapp. Air Con was amazing. I liked that we were given robes and slippers too, nice touch.
The villa unfortunately didn't get any sun so we spent our time indoors and couldn't enjoy the outdoor space really.

Comfortable rooms, quirky decor and great kitchen, pool and verandah. The laundry service was amazing. Situated right in the middle of rice paddies and a great walk with ducks, canals and very big hills to the centre of Ubud. )
Rather stingy with towels, cleaning cloths for the kitchen and toilet paper but happy to supply more if asked. Many, many mosquitos so bring lots of repellant and mosquito rings. None provided.

The private pool, hospitality of the staffs and the surrounding ghibli like village area
The lights in the room should be a bit brighter, but not a big deal.

We loved the staff! Mostly the receptionist Miaa, she helped us with everything, she was very kind and always making sure we were having a pleasant staying. We would come back just because we were well cared the whole time. Also we were surrounded by beautiful rice fields, very nice!
The food is not really the best, we always went to have food somewhere else, and in our room when you had a shower, the water would go everywhere. They could do a better maintenance in the rooms to keep all running well.

Beautiful property and lovely staff, really enjoyed our stay. helpful to be able to contact staff via WhatsApp for organising anything. Villa was lovely, pool was great. Would happily stay again. location wasnt too far away from the main areas
bed wasnât the most comfortable, mostly the pillows were very thick and overly firm so slept without pillows.

The design of the villa was perfect for our stay. We loved having a private pool and bath in the bathroom.
The staff were so friendly and their kindness was probably the highlight of our trip. Any time we needed anything we were able to communicate through WhatsApp and they answered instantly. Due to the location of the villa being down a few narrow paths, the villa staff used a buggy to take us to and from the drop point for the free shuttle bus.
The villa was pretty close to the Ubud city centre and was only a 15 minute shuttle bus drive away.
Whilst we were there it was really hot and humid. We had the aircon and fan on almost all day, the strength of the aircon and fan wasnât the strongest but it was not the end of the world for us.
