A nice private house with pool in a quiet area, not ideal with young kids

The rooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, and the place is well maintained. While small, the pool is great and offers a nice outdoor resting area. The check in and check out were easy and made face to face at our convenience.

The property is not ideal for a family with young kids. Indeed, with there is a floor separation with only outdoor access between the rooms. It is then difficult to monitor the kids. Also, there is no common space to stay other than in the outdoor living spaces or in the covered kitchen. Finally, the stairs are quite steep and should be taken carefully.

It's a great apartment and really nicely done. The staff were friendly and kind. Comfy beds. Really clean. Nice views from upstairs. Breezy, airy feeling (which is unusual in Ubud as there's a lot of damp and mold - I lived in Ubud for 4 years so trust me I know!). Really worth it for the price. I read other reviews saying that the stairs were crazy...they're not so bad. I was there with my 73 year old Dad and he managed fine.

Bit of traffic from the road, but not too bad. There was also preparation for a ceremony so there was a bit of light construction noise throughout the day but it didn't bother us.

The pool was amazing, bedrooms were very spacious with lots of storage for your belongings, bathrooms were lovely. Kitchen was beautiful with everything you needed! They also offered a washing service and our clothes came back smelling amazing & perfectly ironed and folded!

Overall stay was comfortable and value for money.

The location is nice and the property is easily accessible to all major attractions via motor bike or car. The host is very friendly and helpful. The property in real matches exactly as described in pics. The only point to be noted is that the property is three storied building and the steps are narrow. So, guests carrying large suitcases might find it difficult to carry their luggage. There are many good restaurants in nearby vicinity for breakfast and lunch. The pool is maintained well and the room service was impeccable.Overall it's value for money.

Private pool, rooms are good . Staffs are helpful only when asked .

Location is not great.. no entrance to this property. We had to carry luggages a long way and to multiple stairs.. there is no proper visibility to this property . Taxis cannot locate this exact place And there are no staffs or assistance at the location after midday. We had multiple electrical issues that we have to sort it ourselves.. which is a potential risk. Pool is too deep 1.9mt. Not safe for kids.

It's a big villa with a private pool. Looks nice and clean. Big rooms, comfy beds, own kitchen. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

W e did not expect to find big steep stairs there. If you are travelling with your kids or have some resection abilities, it won't be a safe place for you. You should fit very well to climb up and down by those stairs 😅.

The hosts were amazing. They looked after us in every way. They were our drivers and even checked in on us when an earthquake struck

The rooms were good and clean.

The lady that took care of the house was very unreliable. The place does not have a 24 desk, or even a second pair of linen. We had to beg to get a second towel. No hairdryer, oven, microwave, or iron!!! The house overall is good but extremely poorly managed! We also got bedbugs and the lady said no you are wrong..

Comfortable, spacious, nice pool, decent size bedrooms, private.

Doors sometimes don’t close properly, it’s definitely away from the centre of Ubud (30-40 mins walk) but that’s not an issue as GoJek and Grab are easily ordered. The on-site staff are friendly however the manager or host isn’t particularly flexible if you have a request.

Very beautiful place - looks exactly like in pictures, staff was wonderful and they organized everything you asked, best breakfast we had in Bali

Very nice villa with the private pool. Perfect for staying with friends or bigger family, as each bedroom has its own bathroom and terrace and is located on the different levels, making it almost a separate apartment. The surrounding is quiet, so you can enjoy Bali undisturbed.

Dharma Shanti is a beautifull villa, clean, excellent wifi, spacious bath rooms, very nice swimming pool, all facilities were good. But what really was outstanding were the hosts Tudego and Kadek. They took care of everything we wanted and went beyond our expectations and were inspiring. Kadek was magical with creating our breakfast, Tudego drove us around Bali, in the middle of the night for our sunrise trekking at mount Batur, picking us up at Lovina beach to Seminyak. Unbelievable service and next to very detailed knowledge of Bali and tours (Tudego negotiated good local rates for us!) were our hosts warm, empathic with lots of humor. They earn our highest recommendation. for everybody visting Bali, please go to Dharma Shanti for a trip you will never forget.

We really liked our stay at villa Shanti. There are 2 cozy and spacious bedrooms with nice view on green surroundings, good and clean swimming pool, and a kitchen with all essentials. Every day there came a very nice and helpful attendant Kadek, she cooked us delicious breakfast with fresh juices, and was keeping the villa really clean.

Everything was great, maybe except for the construction sounds somewhere behind the wall, but it didn’t bother us too much.

The villa is spacious, clean and comfortable. Tude and his wife are great host-friendly, attentive and nice. We arrived in the middle of the night but Tude still picked us up at the airport. They organised the tours for us (you can tailor it according to your liking or they can drive you around the area). We had a lovely stay!
