Beautiful villa but very loud neighbours

Beautiful villa and attentive staff. Wish we could have stayed the entire booked Saturday but the noise was awful.

There is a rooster farm right next door. If you're looking for peace and quiet you will not find it here. We had to leave within 30 minutes of arrival because it was so bad.

A pleasant and quiet stay with courteous staff and good facilities, though certain aspects of the villa require upgrades

The Wi-Fi, TV, breakfast, and private pool were great. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the staff were extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming.

There was no bed available for kids. The bedding was old and dull. Cleanliness was acceptable but the villa would benefit from daily cleaning and sanitization. The bathroom was open, allowing insects to enter — a glass enclosure would be a better solution. The lighting was very dim, possibly to avoid attracting insects. Access to the property was a bit difficult, especially with the iron gate at the car entrance, which seemed unnecessary and inconvenient.

Fantastic stay

States here for 3 nights on a girls trip Staff were lovely and so accomplished from start to finish and always eager to help. Definitely recommend staying here when in Ubud. Will definitely be returning in n our next trip

Nice and relaxing atmosphere

We were staying in the villa and really enjoyed our time. The room was as it was described. The staff were really helpful and nice. The architecture and the plants made a nice atmosphere. The villa location was near services like laundry and a small grocery store. To Ubud central you can get there quickly by taxi.

Our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. We actually liked the roosters next door, made it feel like an authentic Balin

The bed, pool and bathroom were great and exactly what we were looking for. It also appeared as it looked in the pictures.

We felt the security of the villa wasn’t great. The door to our bedroom wouldn’t properly close or lock. So the only ‘lock’ was on the entrance door (wood panel). There was also a little bit of mold on the top of the canopy over the bed.

Great value for money! Quiet location but walking distance to Ubud

The Villa was located about 2km from the very busy Ubud centre. The Villa is down a small track so it was quiet and peaceful. It has everything you need and the staff were exceptional. The facilities were good, pool, kitchen area, comfortable beds and a great bathroom area. We would certainly come back again. Great value for money

We had breakfast on the first morning, it was good.

Everything was great, staff are attentive, location is perfect, rooms were very comfortable. Shower needed to be turned on 5mins before hot water came through.

Very comfortable villa with private, tranquil pool area in quiet and convenient location.

Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location. Very private and relaxing and clean pool area with two sun lounges. Lovely semi open bathroom. Good WiFi. I was able to stream movies with no issue. Convenient location. Several restaurants within 5 min walk. Ubud town approx 30 min walk.

Not criticisms, but be aware: 1 - Cars cannot drive all the way to the reception area. Last 30m only accessible by scooter or by foot (but it's a very easy walk). 2 - TV in room only has Youtube (not other streaming apps), so if you want to use streaming services, make sure you have a laptop or tablet.

Beautiful villa, lovely pool and wonderful staff!

Beautiful villa. Very private and romantic. Pool was very clean and the rooms were refreshed 2 times a day. The staff are wonderful, very attentive and will go above and beyond for their guests. If you hire a bike it’s only 10 minutes from central Ubud. Staff were great in helping us hire a bike and recommending places to go. You can even order massages to your room. The only problem was how loud the chickens and roosters are next to the villa. They provided earplugs for this noise and were very apologetic. This is not their fault but it definitely makes it a true local experience. I absolutely loved this villa and would return. Bagas is one of the staff members at the villa. He is a lovely person and extremely helpful. He is very friendly and always makes sure the guests feel safe and happy. Thankyou for everything Bagas, we will see you again soon!!

Lovely, quiet location

Very relaxing, quiet location, and we got exactly what is represented in the pics. Pool was great and the beds were comfortable. Put the kettle on early ... it takes a while to boil 🙂 Easy to get a driver to take you to Ubud centre for around 100k in the mornings - just ask at reception 👍 Loved our stay here in the two bedroom villa.

Loved it amazing property .

We stayed here for 3 days and absolutely loved it . Villa as big and swimming pool was a good size . Bagus and his team were very welcoming . This property is 5 min ride to ubud center where you have lot of beautiful cafes. You can hire motor bikes from the villa itself .

Amazing!

Staff was great. They made sure to provide whatever we ask for during our stay. They gave us complementary floating breakfast. The Villa is spacious. Pool and garden were amazing. Very comfortable. Has nearby supermarket and restaurants.

Not a great experience

Staff is nice

The property next door has construction going on. The work used to start at 730am, and would go on till 530pm. The bathrooms are open to air and facing the construction site, due to which we could not use the bathroom of one of the rooms. We could not even keep our room curtains drawn as the windows/doors faced the construction. The staff requested us to keep the outside lights off in the night (from sunset), as the lights attract insects. Hence after sunset, we were literally locked up in the room, without being able to use the pool or sit in the open dining area and have dinner. There is a chicken farm next door, with the roosters crowing early morning and late evening. The crowing is quite loud. Not a great place if you are light sleeper. We found the breakfast to be unhygienic - twice hair strands were found in our Juices and eggs. Bread was also stale. We had booked for 4 nights, however due to the unpleasant experience, checked out earlier, with no refund being offered.

Excellent value for money with a private, quiet villa

Located on a little road with only scooter traffic, the villas are a two minute walk from the rice fields and 10 minutes from several delightful restaurants. The staff are absolutely wonderful. Very helpful, happy and attentive. The bathroom is open to nature and is a delight. Of course the private pool is the biggest attraction.

The walls around the pool block any breeze. And the pool could have been cleaner. Cushions needed for the lounge chairs.

Superb

Villa was great, clean and very attractive. Staff was very supportive and friendly, we need a bike for rent, they just provide us the key without any formalities in just 15 minutes. Location was little interior from road, but it was just 7-8 minutes away from ubud central by bike. Pool was clean, bathroom was very huge and having big bath tub. You can enjoy whole day on villa if u r going for honeymoon. I would recommend to couples to stay here for peaceful and lovely holiday. Overall great experience....good staff, available 24 hours. For couples who want to spend the peaceful and quality time, this is the one of best villa....i would love to come back here, if i olan to Bali again.

Wonderful, private area with a beautiful pool

It was very comfortable and a very private area which my boyfriend and I loved. The outside area with the pool was amazing and the open shower and the bathroom was the highlight.

Nothing negative about the property but don’t be stupid like me and feed the cats, they will be yelling at 3am and not leave your villa

it’s perfect if u r looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay in ubud while you will stay the whole day outside doing activities, as there is not enough amenities if u r looking for proper hotel, the price is reasonable, i was concerned about the insects as i know ubud as a tropical place is full of that, but luckily I didn’t experience anything and this is one of the reasons why i picked de metra villa as there was no comment regarding insects. just expect to see a tiny un harmful lizard in the garden

absolute relaxing place

I stayed there for the second time when I got back to Ubud. very close to reach all the nice things and city center. amazing to have your own pool to also be able to relax for a day. super helpful and friendly staff. perfect to relax and get some down time, very spacious and comfortable

could be cleaner and when booking make sure you don’t get any of the left side villas if you sensitive about rooster noise. but I guess that is also part of Bali life
