The villa is located in a quiet rural location but still close to town, staff very friendly & accommodating . Arranged airport transfers and the best cooking class with villa owner that was seamless. Villa comfortable
Villa does not have much room on bottom level to open up suitcase, stairs to upper level are very steep and dont expect a good pillow. Terrible trouble locking our door to the villa, we would spend a good 5-10 mins trying and numerous times had to get staff to complete it. It is about a 800m walk to the villa - no cars, this walk is quiet dark so bring a headtorch, the last 100m is very dark & slippery - take care in rain as the water is like a river - step carefully but this added to our adventure.

There are some things that needs to be fixed. I hope they will take action to fix it.

If you want to be in the middle if the jungle, enjoy the peace and sounds of nature, this place is for you. I really enjoyed the peaceful surrounding, lush nature and tranquility this place provided. The jungle feeling was further evident by occasional sightings of geckoes and frogs, which i really enjoyed! Although not accessible by car, it is not an issue, rather a positive point if you are looking for peace. It is only a short walk away from the main road and a bit more to Ubud center. The breakfast was served in the garden and you can choose from their provided menu, it was always delicious. Pool is perfect for cooling off after a long day

The rooms was okay.
1. Too far from the car park. Need to walk during day and even night time, if you were to go out. Scooty available only at check in and out drop offs.
2. With children, walking wasn’t fun.
3. Broken door handles
4. No toiletries provided (No soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush)
5. No towels were available at the pool.
6. Breakfast had no options for vegetarian other than plain white bread and butter.
7.Broken tap in the bathroom.

It’s a fabulous location in the middle of everything, but the property is tucked away in the jungle away from the noise of the streets. It’s truly a magical property.
The pillows and towels could use updating, but we’re perfectly fine.

Quiet
Major Issues Overshadow a Peaceful Location
We had high hopes for our stay based on the listing, but our experience was far from the advertised villa. The secluded location is peaceful, but it comes with significant drawbacks that families should be aware of.
Here is a detailed account of our experience:
The Cons - Significant Problems:
· Pests & Cleanliness: The presence of ants led to our children being bitten, which was very unsettling. Furthermore, the sight of large geckos inside the villa and a dirty swimming pool made it difficult to relax.
· Poor Maintenance: The furniture is tired and needs updating. The air conditioning unit is completely inadequate for cooling the two large rooms, making sleep uncomfortable. The pillows also had a musty smell.
· Unreliable Amenities: The WiFi was unusable for anything requiring a stable connection. Basic provisions like coffee and tea were not replenished.
· Inconvenient Access: Be prepared to walk 600m from the main road. We were unable to get through to the office via phone for assistance, despite many attempts.
· Disappointing Breakfast: The breakfast offering was extremely basic (essentially a choice of eggs or pancakes).
The Pros - The Silver Linings:
· The floor staff were genuinely helpful and friendly.
· The property is away from traffic noise, which could suit a couple seeking isolation.
Verdict: Due to the maintenance and pest control issues, we cannot recommend this property for families. The value for money was very poor.

W loved the staff, Widi the manager was welcoming and informative, born and raised in the local community. The boys working at the villa were helpful, friendly, respectful. The location is excellent, close to the hustle of Ubud main center but very quiet and serene, overlooking the river and forest. Lots of green all around. We loved our rooms, spacious with comfy beds, clean. Can't complain at all about our stay at the jungle villa (two weeks). Would be happy to visit again.

Beautiful scenery! It’s like you step into another world as soon as you walk through the front entrance. The hosts are so lovely and ready to meet any need you might have. We got a bit of a fright on our first night when we heard noises coming from the bathroom and the manager was more than happy to come down and make sure everything was okay (the noise only a lizard that was outside, to be expected in the jungle). The facilities were beautiful and well kept!
The breakfast, while delicious, was a little lacking in options. The walk down to the villa is also a little bothersome as it can only be accessed by motorbikes. Our drivers would often be confused picking us up or dropping us off as it can’t be accessed by road.

Only that it's in the middle of the jungle but there are 1000 hotels like that in Bali, Ubud
It's dirty, and the facilities are bad.
We found other people's hair in the bathroom and on the working desk !!!🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮

Staff were brilliant! Very friendly, any slight problem they would sort as quickly as they could. Rooms were lovely and spacious, cleaned regularly! Pool was also a highlight of our trip, and the breakfasts were lovely every morning!
Nothing to comment!

absolute lovely stay at the jungle vila!
We stayed here for 2 nights whilst exploring Ubud. The pathway towards the villa is about a 5-10 min walk which only bikes can go down but cars can drop you off just before then. If you need help with luggage when you arrive a bunch of lovely individuals will come down on their bikes and help you. The scenery is honestly the best i’ve seen so far and it really makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the jungle! The rooms are set up to look like tree houses and have everything you need for your stay. The staff are so kind and welcoming.
Grab bikes can collect you right from the villa, just message them that you’re at the jungle villa and they will drive right to you. When returning on bikes to the villa type ‘ Sri Permana Villa’ and this will take you directly to the villa. If you need a car the pick up point if TYGR Sushi. Ubud centre is only a 5 min drive away so perfect location!
I would 100% recommend!
Would be a little awkward to get to and from if you came with kids/big group as cars can’t get down the road so you have to walk a lil but very easy to get bikes and great location.
Only downside is you may get woken up a little earlier than expected due to the birds but it’s all part of the jungle stay so just bring some ear buds!

Staff were amazing. Lil house was cute as anything, clean. Beds big and comfortable.
Lil bit of maintenance needed in accommodation but post covid losses... I imagine that won't even be issue in a few months. To be clear, I would definitely go back again and stay here cause it was such a good stay!
Lil bit of maintenance in accomadation, still very happy with stay!

Location was ok.
Breakfast to be improved. Cleaning to be improved. Bathroom to be cleaned. Small ants and insects were always on the bed. Room was smelling bad, towels were smelling and dirty.
