Never again.

We just stayed for 7 nights. Here is my honest review: 1. The advertisement was misleading. > the villa is quite far away from the centre of UBUD and we spent alot of money having to get drivers to take us in to town every day. > there are no supermarkets etc close by, so we had to make additional efforts for each meal. 2. The kitchen is located OUTSIDE the villa and is completely exposed to the elements; bugs, lizards, weather etc > the cooking equipment was old, damaged and was not fit to cook or eat from. > we spent alot of money having to order food for each meal, or go into town by taxis to eat. 3. We lost power x3 times. > the first time I was in the shower when all of the power went off. 4. The villa is dirty and run down. > there were slugs and grubs in the 1st room; everywhere! > the lamps and fake flowers were covered in dust. > the bathrooms are full of mold due to a lack of ventilation > the towels were old and dry 5. The rooms weren't cleaned every day. > the cleaner would come at strange and varied hours. > the towels were not always changed and not always replaced. The advertisements of the villa were misleading and we feel we overpaid. The main issues we had, were; 1. It is overpriced for the conditions, service and location. 2. The kitchen is outside and exposed to the elements and unusable/dirty. The staff on-site were friendly and tried to be helpful; but it is not enough to make up for feeling deceived by the advertisement and the reality of the living conditions. We will not stay here again.

Only downside we found was the location, we couldn’t just get out and walk into a market or get food easily. But wasn’t a deal breaker to us.

An oasis within the hustle and bustle

Great space for the family, the pool was clean and refreshing, good social space to hang out. Good air con, and friendly lizards :)

Some kitchen items need replaced - the mugs are chipped and the kettle doesn't switch itself off.

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything is truly on point, easy contact with the staff if you neeeded anything they really helped us out. We tried the breakfast and it was delicious, the place is just breathtaking if you wanted to relax and having fun the view and the day&night are just 🥰 Definitely going to recommend it to anyone who’s coming to bali !!!

We loved our stay in Pondok Dino! Villa is cleaned daily and it's in perfect location - it's very easy to get everywhere. I also really recommend booking trips with Dhe, we loved every single one.

We had a relaxing stay and were very sad to leave this lovely nature escape.

The property is beautiful and very clean. The cleaner comes everyone morning for a refresh, you are close by to ubud centre so plenty of shops around and the pool is stunning. Beds are also super comfy. Dhe, our host is wonderful, very accomodating and kind. I would definitely recommend :)

This was a disaster. I request a full refund + compensation for careless hosting

The charm of the old at the beginning, not the crumbling paint on some walls

On arrival: leak in the roof, drops on the bed and on the floor, with deads and. Day 3: bulldozer on the property starting a building site. Day 4: the access to the villa is a mid field (on a slope). I had no choice but to ask for a full refund and relocate 2 days before my departure. The owner refused to refund and compensate me and my family for the terrible inconvenience.

The utensils , the stove and the kitchen area is not very clean and not maintained well. We even have seen frogs jumping over the kitchen counters twice.

A little smaller than we initially thought but the atmosphere is amazing, if you are looking for an affordable stay this would be great for you. kitchen is small & outside but its very cosy & comfortable.

Thought it would be a little more central to ubud but its in Sayan, about a 15 minute drive to Ubud central but that doesn't reflect the property itself,

it wasn’t very clean. facilities were low in stock and no soft furniture to chill out on. The cleaners did not come before our last night and toilet paper and water were in short supply.

Superb

Lovely villa in a very lush garden. Very friendly host/staff that helped us with renting scooters and arranging transport to our next destination. The beds were comfy, the pool was refreshing and especially in the evening the place is very cosy. Drinking water is provided, there's aircon, a small kitchen. Everything you need for a nice stay.

Its located just a bit outside of the city centre, which means you either need a scooter or taxi to go out.

A Paradise.

Honestly, its a piece of paradise. Gorgeous villa in stunning surroundings. So peaceful. Lay back and listen to the sound of nature. Friendly locals and atmosphere. We absolutely love it and its our second stay and hope we will have many more. Special mention of the host Dhe and family. They did everything they could to make a wonderful stay ever more special. They are so kind ♥. Truly touched by our interactions.

Gorgeous, private villa with pool.

The villa was so private, gorgeous pool and rooms. Cute outdoor kitchen for self catering if needed. Gedhe and staff very attentive and there if needed 24/7 to organise anything.

All good. A little bit of luxury in the village. It was a 20 minute.walk into Ubud centre but I liked the walk every morning to my yoga class, stopping at a different cafe on the way or way back and any tours will pick up from the villa. Scooter or taxi easy transport too. Or Gedhe can transport with a little notice.

A little piece of paradise.

One of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. Dhe was such a marvelous host. He was so kind and so helpful with every question we had. Attentive and gracious offering us privacy and peaceful enjoyment. Even organizing a very special spiritual ceremony for my sons 18th birthday, a life long memory for us on such a special day for us. Dhe picked us up and dropped us off at the airport at good local rates. He offers free transportation to and from a large well stocked supermarket and is an excellent and safe driver. Delicious breakfasts lovingly presented with a number of delicious options. Local tours offered and useful phone numbers provided . Dhe will help you with anything if he can and, as a local, has excellent local knowledge. Such a lovely house in a truly picture postcard environment , tranquil, friendly and safe amongst the gorgeous Balinese locals. We so look forward to coming again. Thank you Dhe and family. Such kindness, such beauty. Highly recommend. We feel blessed 🙏 ♥ ♥♥

It was super good to be there.

The villa was very pretty with private swimming pool. They always cleaned the villa. The owner of the Villa Gede and his family members were really good to us . We went everyday to day trips with Gede😊. He is really good . I highly recommend this place🤗

Große, sehr gut ausgestattete Zimmer! Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen - was überhaupt nicht negativ ist, im Gegenteil - mit dem Grab ist man sehr schnell im Geschehen und in der Unterkunft hat man wieder seine Ruhe. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Strávili jsme 4 noci v Private Villa with nature atmosphere by Pondok Dino Ubud a musím říct, že vše bylo naprosto dokonalé a předčilo to naše očekávání. Vila je krásně zařízená, stylová a vše fungovalo na jedničku. Každý den probíhal pečlivý úklid a na objednání jsme si mohli dopřát donášku snídaně – dokonce i krásnou snídani servírovanou na táce přímo na hladině bazénu, což byl nezapomenutelný zážitek. Majitel Dhe je úžasný hostitel – velmi starostlivý, milý a ochotný. Tři dny nás osobně vozil na nádherná místa, kam jsme chtěli, a zároveň nám doporučil lokality, které nejsou tolik známé a turisticky přelidněné, ale o to krásnější. Jeho služby rozhodně doporučuji využít. Poloha vily je ideální – blízko centra Ubudu, a přitom v klidné lokalitě. V okolí je několik skvělých warungů a restaurací, kde se dá výborně najíst. Tato vila na nás udělala obrovský dojem, splnila naše sny a představy o dokonalé dovolené. Bylo to jedno z nejkrásnějších ubytování, které jsme kdy zažili, a všem ho vřele doporučuji.

Jediným menším negativem je, že se v okolí potulují štěkající psi, hlavně večer po setmění, což může být někdy nepříjemné. Není to však vina ubytování, spíše typická součást místního prostředí.

Nos alojamos en esta villa en Ubud y fue una experiencia maravillosa. La villa es espaciosa, muy bien decorada y con una piscina privada ideal para relajarse rodeado de naturaleza. El ambiente es tranquilo, perfecto para descansar y desconectar. Lo que más nos sorprendió fue la atención del personal: siempre amables, atentos y dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento, desde recomendaciones locales hasta pequeños detalles que hicieron nuestra estadía aún más especial. Sin duda, un lugar que recomendaría a cualquiera que busque comodidad, privacidad y un servicio excelente en Ubud.
