Quiet area outside the city but with restaurants and bars. Nice apartment with lovely view and all the necessary facilities. Excellent, responsive staff.

Very relaxing as everything was so pleasing to the eye and very comfortable.

Every little detail was taken care of. From a shaving kit to some snacks and teas including proper sized tea mugs. Fantastic bed and cover. Easy to find, clear instructions and communication and such stunning views!

It was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable, not to mention a spectacular view from the balcony!

The only downside is that the living room vas a little bit dark during the rainy day, but it doesn’t bother that much.

Beautifully furnished property in a great location with spectacular views from the balcony. We had a very comfortable stay as a family of 3, and Sylvia was friendly and communicative throughout, providing clear instructions and information about the apartment.

The interior decorating is off the hook! The kitchen has the highest quality pots and pans I’ve ever used. The bed is super comfy! And the host is super communicative and kind. Not to mention the view is amazing. From the place you can walk to the historic town of Bergamo.

Repunzal refuge

Suitable location for me, prefering to be up top tucked away with access to the main town via the nearby transport and walk pathways. Beautifully furnished and excellent views, windows on different sides so to receive natural light - far side windows are the most private. Appreciate proper TV with Netflix and YouTube to have a comfortable stay. Nice lights and mirrors throughout, good easy sliding blackout curtains Communicative staff, with cordial dialogue. Grateful for Complimentry toiletries to ease the stay as well as the bottled waters. Good amount of plug sockets, selection of pots and pans, nice glassware and cutlery. Modern stove, ice tray prefilled! I liked the mirrored kitchen backdrop, with light so to reflect the views when slaving over the stove. My favourite of the Complimentry items were the dark chocolate carrés.

Friday evening young people are out, as can be expected, they loiter at the near by panoramic view platform seen from side room window, so bear in mind the noise of music and scooters. a microwavable container would be useful so to not spoil the nice crockery. Perhaps supplying a MyHomeForYou umbrella with stand for just incase. Maybe some kitchen towel in addition to the nice smart napkins supplied and to give a few more coffee pods, or at minimum to match the amount of days staying, rather than two only.

The location is perfect, the view was nice and the host was very nice and helpful.

The apartment is more suitable for solo travelers, it is not very convenient if you travel with kids as the stairs are very steep.

A place to return

Absolutely a place to stay if you are coming to Bergamo for leisure. This was our first visit to Bergamo and the location of the apartment made us fall in love with the city. The area the apartment is located is very beautiful, quite, yet with few fantastic restaurants close by. Inside the apartment everything was made for us to feel home.

Nothing. Only be careful if you come by car regarding the parking. It is very difficult to find and proper parking place there due to narrow street. We received a pretty big fine (though it was entirely our fault..).

Disappointing

The apartment was great, very stylish and clean, located in a beautiful area, comfortable beds, nice dining area and the great view.

Unfortunately, the owner's attitude to me after the stay was more than disappointing. The next morning, I received a few messages to pay for the minibar 155 Euro ASAP. I paid the amount and requested a breakdown of the bill. I was charged 40 euros for a champagne and an additional bottle of wine that I hadn't consumed. When I pointed this out, the owner was rude and accused me of a 'bad behaviour'. Also, there are 2 parking spaces always occupied probably by other residents. There was a charge from the car rental company, but at first I wasn't sure what it was for so I asked the owner - I was accused again on trying to 'put the responsibility' on them!! I am very disappointed with the attitude I have received. The property was great, and my family enjoyed the stay, but the owner's response ruined the overall experience.

great apartment but be ready for no human contact, which makes the stay in unknown location uncomfortable

the apartment was very comfortable and well appointed. great view.

complete lack of human interaction. extended delay in answering any questions. a grand list of extras for extra price that vast majority was not available, which was a bit problem considering that the nearest shop is in Città Alta which is 3 km down using funicular railway which has very limited operating times. we couldn’t make even a cup of coffee - very nice espresso machine but no coffee pods. back to this “extra items” list: the complete lack of human communication meant we did not know what was available when checked in but they sent us the full list on the last day to tick what we had consumed extra. you need to take photos or confirm with them what is available on your extra list on your first day just in case to avoid any misunderstanding again because there is no human contact. also they provided you with the long online instructions only on the day before you arrive, which makes it unnecessary stressful as you usually are busy with packing but instead you have to study the check in instructions.

Exceptional stay

Staying at MyHome (Sunset Apartment) was amazing. For a ladies' weekend, the location of the apartment was perfect - in a safe, quiet residential area. I'm not even talking about the view - it really is as breathtaking as we hoped. Stylish cozy interior, pleasant balcony with seating. Functional fast wifi, Netflix. It was nice to be provided with basic things for breakfast + the possibility to buy basic non-perishable food or drinks. It was a pleasure to return to the apartment every time and our stay in it will be linked in our memories with a charming stay in Bergamo. Location: absolutely quiet and safe residential area Accessibility: Vial Alta funicolare + 4 min walk; without luggage you can also walk from Cole Aperto Equipment: everything you can think of :-) Beds: 10/10 Support: everything solved, answered immediately Check-in: hassle-free via the website Access to the apartment: all information provided before arrival, easy access based on codes, property easy to find Restaurant: at the top funicolare station Grocery store: not nearby, you need to buy in Citta Alta

The location is breathtaking, and the room we stayed in had the most beautiful sunset/sunrise view - you could enjoy it with a cup of tea/coffee (or even from a toilet, which also had a window overlooking the mountains - just wow!). The owner made sure the instructions to get into the apartment were clear. They provided toiletries and even some breakfast ingredients free of charge. The apartment is beautifully decorated, has a spacious balcony and a big TV.

The only inconvenience that comes to mind is the lack of ceiling lights - after getting into the apartment in the evening we needed to reach the lamps. The self-check-in process (online, prior to arrival) was nice to have but quite lengthy; some information seemed redundant (like every person's birthday or address) but I understand it might be a general requirement.

A wonderful house with a wonderful garden with a wonderful view :)

The host has provided for us many different types of breakfast food (bread, marmelade, nutella, milk, tea, coffee etc). The house is wonderfully designed and it has a marvelous small garden with a panoramic view over Citta Bassa and a very comfortable garden couch to relax on ... The house is on the highest hill - so kind of „Citta Alta no 2” above „Citta Alta no 1” :)))) It is in a small quiet neighborhood with a lot of cedars all around and a very good restaurant (2 minutes walk) Michelin rated. We definitely recommend this property.

There was a light for the inner staircase that was activated by sensor (for safety purposes I guess) and it could not be switched off and at night it was bothering when someone was walking by ...

Good stay in upper town- perfect if you’re NOT arriving with a car

Beautiful location in the upper town. Clean, modern and well designed apartment with a nicely equipped kitchen and great view. Great place overall.

First one for booking- for those coming with a car. The property appears under the ‘free parking’ filter, however- it’s not accurate. The property has a separate self check in process, which is quite long and tedious (uploading multiple pictures of your passport, including a selfie holding it, full address details etc- not to mention the super elaborate directions and check in instructions) then you receive a confirmation- if you come by car, the next step is to register it with the city as the property is in a restricted area. Only after the booking is actually made, you receive an explanation that public parking might be available- but it is based on availability and advise you to park in other paid parking lots around in case it’s full. However, those may also be full. We arrived in the evening, all the parking lots around, both public and paid were full, and we spent almost an hour searching until we finally got lucky. Keep in mind that the apartment is located on a hill. Living in a big city, I am aware of the adversities of parking- but I suggest not to list the apartment as one with that option.
