Great location, modern appt with a lovely charm

Location, facilities, well equipped, nicely styled

Just a bit hard to adjust the temperature of the room. The host reduced the temp but it wasn’t low enough for us. When the windows are open it can be quite noisy in the morning. Minor thing. We loved our stay

Accommodation good but thin walls

Clean spacious apartment with everything you need for a 5 day stay in the very heart of the upper. A little more tired than the images but who goes away to spend time in their room! Fantastic views from the windows and the location is superb and easy to get to on the number 1 bus from the airport.

I read reviews prior and people stated that the walls are paper thin and sadly this is true. Therefore, I took ear plugs. However, that didn't stop us being woke by extremely inconsiderate neighbours. Midnight the first night to what sounded like them rearranging the furniture. The second at 2am by them arguing and crying and it went on the whole 5 days stay. I would highly recommend taking ear plugs if you're a light sleeper, although, you may still hear the neighbours!

Great location but not great value for money

- Location was amazing - views from the communal terrace were really nice - the mezzanine was well designed and constructed

- Extra fees without prior knowledge (city taxes, extra amenities like coffee pods) - No amenities like toiletries - dimmed lights from various devices did not allow for a complete dark room at night - No clear emergency exit and signs / I believe there was none which made us wonder how this place has the right to operate

Location in Citta Alta was perfect.

Noise from Mezzanine in other apt which appears to be above bedroom. Bathroom feels a little exposed with limited window coverage (albeit you are 3 floors up).

Home from home

Stylish and comfortable apartment right in the heart of things. We loved staying there and we recommend. Great welcome from Ita who explained everything. Near to a good bakery and supermarket. Loved the location and buzz from street below. Easy to get the number 1 bus from just outside the airport, and less than 5 minutes walk from the terminus. Favourite restaurant was Antica la Columbina. Saturday morning there's a craft market near the bus terminus.

All good. Just a suggestion to put out the green information folder on the table. We didn't find it right away in the cupboard and it was interesting and useful.

Bedding seemed worn and grey , one set of towels for a 5day stay ( friends close by had towels changed half way through their stay ) , dirty glasses in the cupboard , Property starting to look tired compared to our last stay a year ago . A little more attention to detail could make a big difference. .

Lovely apartment in the centre of citta alta, but parking spoilt it!

The location was perfect! Right in the middle of Cittá alta and close to a great coffee shop and above a carrefour which is handy. The apartments also had a lift which is unusual in bergamo. The room was spacious and very clean, great shower and a washing machine which was so handy after over a week travelling.

The pictures are slightly misleading as it looks as though you have a private terrace which you don’t, there are a few seats outside the lift which is a shared space which is still nice but not a private terrace. The parking is quite a walk away and very uphill on cobbled roads so a real pain for suitcases, it’s also really expensive we paid €60 for 2 days which really adds up, next time I will look for an apartment with parking included which there was available. The check in is also late at 4pm and check out at 11am which I think is quite cheeky.

The position was magnificent. Couldn’t be better.

There were no thoughtful extra touches that would have made the stay exceptional… sort of near enough is good enough. For example… no cake of soap and shampoo in bathroom. No face washer, no bath mat and water splashes easily onto the floor. No teas or coffee. Coffee machine but no instructions or pods even to start off.

Beautiful home from home apartment. Excellent location with small shop for essentials next door.

Excellent central location, very nice design, clean. My mum required a hospital visit and our host helped me arrange this and checked in on us. Taxi service that the apartment uses is excellent. I apologise I have forgotten the drivers name.

Could do with a toaster. Although we didn’t use it, paying for the apartment should be efficient without charging extra if the second bed is used.

The location was excellent very central in Citta Alta. The views from front and back window were wonderful. Shop next door to apartment with all our needs. Andrea our host was very helpful. Air conditioning on both levels was a bonus.

Very nice apartment located in the old town of Bergamo. It was clean, well equipped, and close to lots of nice restaurants and sights. The hostess Kristina was very helpful, and the check-in was easy. If we go back to Bergamo, we will definitely stay here again.

the location was perfect - right in the middle of Bergamo Alta - near to restaurants , shops and sights - just perfect. The property was bright and very clean, well decorated and beautifully refurbished to a high standard. The views were breathtakingly beautiful from all directions and there was a glass lift which took us to the ground floor and gardens. I would describe this property at the perfect combination of a historic building and tasteful modernity !

The sofa bed was not very comfortable so I would recommend this appartment for two people only ( the bedroom can either be a king size bed or two singles and has plenty of space )

Po's and cons

The location is first class.

The bedroom is not soundproofed and the noise from adjoining apartment bedroom was disturbing. The occupants were very ill by the sounds of it, coughing all night and being sick coupled with the baby screaming for long periods. Not ideal.
