Not suitable for allergy sufferers.
Our stay in the house was not the best experience. The host is very helpful and the house was relatively clean. 10 minutes walk from the bus stop. But: The rooms are connected. Yes, they have a separate entrance, but it is not suitable for cold weather and you have to go through all the rooms. The doors between them are not sealed and you can hear everything. Ours did not even close. There is a lot of mold in the room with the bathtub that was not repaired and a very strong and heavy smell that was terrible. You can also meet all kinds of insects in the rooms: worm, centipede, scolopendra, even scorpion. Yes, this is the type of house, but this is not right. This was not mentioned in advance. Apart from that, when you pay, they will surprise you with another fee that is also not described in advance, so expect to pay extra. The place and the house are nice. It is historical. But there is still a lot to be desired.

A wonderful location and a host who cares.
What a place! A beautiful spot within a few minutes walk of the Città Alta, with footpaths and street lights all along the way. The area felt safe and is easily accessible by the bus from the airport. The garden gets the morning sun and sitting out eating breakfast and listening to the church bells ringing across the city and taking in the stunning view, was a memory I will treasure forever. The host was really helpful and genuinely cared that we had an excellent experience. This house was ideal for our family and it was so easy to relax and unwind here. I hope we will be back again someday. Highly recommended.
There is an additional tourist tax that is not collected by Booking.com and is payable directly. It isn't much, but it is always better to know about all the charges in advance.
