Good base for enjoying all that Bergamo Alta has to offer

The location is a major plus here, the apartment is in a lovely old building but the stairs are very broad and accessible. The apartment itself is quite large, and has everything you would need. The bedrooms and the sitting/dining room are all a good size, even if the furniture is a bit basic.

WiFi wasn't great (but usable, just don't rely on it for streaming). The apartment is on the main street in Bergamo Alta so the location is great, but it is a bit noisy in one of the bedrooms during busy times.

Great apartment in beautiful location!

We were met by Kristina on our arrival who was very friendly and communicative, the apartment was perfect, in a beautiful location, with lovely views from our windows. the apartment was bright and airy, spotlessly clean throughtout and well equipped, Nice comfy beds too! Would love to stay again in the future, thanks for a lovely stay

Great Central apartment in Citta Alta

Very central location, speedy handover to collect keys. Comfy bed & the apartment is a great size, nice high ceilings. I would stay here again when I return to Bergamo because I will definitely return.

Quality accommodation in the heart of the old town

Great location, spacious 1-bedroom accommodation with modern kitchen. On main street in old town, small supermarket and lots of cafes and delicatessens nearby (eg Fracassetti is great for meats and cheese). Loved wandering around Bergamo and country walks. Gelato recommendations: Il Quadrato and Nonna Nina in lower town :)

Fantastic apartment in the Citta' Alta!

This is a charming apartment right on the main street of the Citta' Alta of Bergamo, so the location couldn't be better for exploring this historic town, both the upper (historic) and lower (more modern) parts of Bergamo. Kristina is an exceptionally helpful and accommodating host who met us at the apartment to let us in and help us get oriented. She clearly enjoys her work hosting guests and is proud of her city! The kitchen of this apartment was well-stocked with all the things you would need (other than food) if you decided to cook. The living room was cozy with a comfy sofa, TV, and table/chairs. The bedroom had a very comfortable bed with great linens. The bathroom was modern with a shower that drained properly and didn't leak and had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. There's even a washing machine, which comes in very handy when you're traveling for an extended period of time. The photos accurately represent the apartment. We have nothing negative to say about this apartment at all. Bergamo is a beautiful city with a lovely botanical garden whose tulips were in full bloom! The funicular will take you between the lower and upper parts of the city. Our favorite place for dinner (which is served starting in mid-afternoon) was Circolino, a 5-minute walk to the corner and down a short lane. It's also great for breakfast in the morning where many locals meet up for business meetings over caffe and brioche.

Excellent Location in the hear of Città Alta

Apartment was in a very good location, in the very center of the old town in Bergamo, it was easy to reach Città Alta in a walking distance, go to the main tourist attractions and everything.

It has nothing to do with the hotel/apartment itself, but parking in Città Alta in Bergamo can be expensive, so better plan a bit your trip to go by car or to leave your car somewhere else that can be cheaper (maybe in Città Bassa).

A perfect accommodation and Kristina definitely the best hostess.

I travel a lot and i have to say that our experience at Domus Dea Bergamo was the best by far! Kristina is the best hostess ever! Her hospitality and kidness is beyond words. We arrived earlier in the morning from the check in time, but she was there to welcome us and give us the keys. My mother had a serious dental problem and she helped us so much! Thanks to Kristina we saw a doctor and continued our vacation. The place was super clean, big and with all the facilities. I will definitely recommend it. Our stay at Domus is definitely a reason to visit again Bergamo.

Honestly, everything was excellent but if i had to mention something for improvement is the sofa bed. The matress in the sofa bed is thin and therefore not so comfortable for sleep.

We had a very enjoyable stay - the apartment was comfortable ,clean and very central

The location was perfect - very accessible to everything - right in the centre of town - the girls in Booking.com office were very helpful and pleasant.

there are a few simple things that would have been very helpful most importantly a list of basic instructions - for instance how to turn the cooker on ie you have to have a saucepan sitting on the hob you are going to use and do not have cooker and kettle on at same time as this tripped the electricity ! also on that list it would have been useful to have the code for the front door. A tea towel and stopper for the sink would also have been useful.

Great place for few days in Bergamo! You are in the middle of old town so all interesting places are reachable in 10 minutes. Room was clean, heating works as expected, wifi also. I recommend this place!

We enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect.

Location was great. Very friendly host and a very warm welcome Patriz was fabulous.

Only one thing that let the property down and that was the bathroom especially the shower wasn’t clean. Lots of black mould and unfortunately not clean. We didn’t complain as I’m sure something would have been done about it as we were there for a few days.

Nice apartment in the historic center

It’s a nice apartment right in the old center, in the historical building. The bedroom is spacious, but the living room/kitchen is very tight when the sofa is opened up. We got nice recommendations of the local amenities from the host.

A lot of noise came from outside until the early hours. There were only 2 mugs in the apartment, even though there were 4 guests. It would be good to have a tea pot, kitchen towels, shampoo and shower gel in the apartment.

Lovely apartment in a perfect location. Highly recommended.

The host was so lovely and friendly, even organising an early check in for us and meeting us to hand over the keys. She noticed there was a problem with the door code and, although this didn't affect us as we had keys, we were really impressed that this was fixed by the next day. The housekeeping staff were also lovely and helpful and the apartment was immaculate. Comfy bed, good shower, wonderful location in Città Alta and our apartment on the 3rd floor had an incredible view over the rooftops to the mountains. We loved staying here and would recommend it to everyone.

We had become used to air conditioning from the previous two places we had stayed so to be without was a bit of a jolt (but this isn't something I'm too inclined to moan about as I'm now sitting shivering back home!) There was a fan provided in the apartment and it was powerful. We just moved it into the bedroom at night and we both slept well.

Superb

I appreciated the easy self-check-in. It was very easy and straightforward. The location was perfect - on the main street in the old town. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was nice and spacious.

There was no handsoap provided. The bathroom had two small packets of shampoo for the whole stay for 2 people. There are cooking facilities, but no dishsoap provided in the kitchen. There is no airconditioning so at night it got quite warm (the fan was too noisy to work at night). Opening the window in the evening is not an option, as the street is quite noisy.

Location was perfect. Accommodation - plenty of room and modern

You need to like church bells, they ring frequently, no pattern! Would have been good to have some water in the fridge, no obvious shops around and no information in accommodation as to where shops to buy water/food are. Keys were a bit tricky to use. Otherwise perfect accommodation in centre of Old Town

Heart of the old town

Wonderful location in the old town, surrounded by restaurants, cafes and history. Spacious apartment which looked pristine and was the perfect place to recuperate after a week of traveling around Lombardy. Airport connection just a short walk away too.

At most maybe needed some extra pillows for the bed, but was still very comfortable. No other complaints.

Great long weekend in Bergamo

Great location and very helpful staff. If you want to be in the middle of everything happening in Bergamo, this is the place. Walking distance from all the nicest sightseeing. Rooms were big and clean and the apartment had everything you need. Very easy check in and check out. The staff also offers transportation from the airportrport.
