Casa Tortugas Boutique Hotel - A Hidden Gem in Cancun

How clean and quiet it is

Very beautiful small size art hotel, peaceful, nice swimming pool embracing the sea. A nice Mexican beach across the street with small restaurant. Best location to avoid mass tourism a few miles away !

The faucet of the bathroom sink had water leaking out behind the sink so we couldn’t store anything on the sink as it would become soaked. The smell of the cleaning detergent is very strong. Could use soft organic products

Location to playa Tortugas, super close and the ferry as well. Pool has beautiful views as well.

No good restaurants nearby

Attention of the staff was good. Noel left us with good impression. We appreciated the late check-out at noon.

Our room was ‘across the street’, not in the main building, which came as a surprise. We found the pictures and the information misleading, related to our detached room. We wouldn’t have chosen the hotel under these circumstances. Our location and the room was definitely not a ‘boutique’ experience. Despite the access to the main building, there’s no practical benefit of it, due to the distance. We were told that no room alternatives were available for us. In our room, we missed a few basics, as (second) bed side table or a basic drying rack. I’m sure the future guests will appreciate a better ventilation in the room, regulation of the ceiling fan (as the airco is facing the bad directly).
