Nice hotel and location

Water pressure in the toilets not the best

I liked that it was a big hotel but wasn't with loud music or massive crowds. It had a nice chill vibe. Breakfast was nice too and the ocean view was amazing

everything when well. hotel, pools, restaurant, and the best beach in the area. Not to mention the food, the cleanest beach, and sand, you can walk everywhere you want. I would come back tomorrow. I just love this place.

There was nothing I didn't like. Everything is just perfect

The resort sits on a beautiful stretch of beach, which was much better than some of the nearby resorts we walked past. I loved that we could get a shaded palapa every day without issue. We would routinely make it to the beach after 11 a.m. and always had one on the second row. Many were never used during the day. The pools were nice and the resident iguanas were a highlight. Our room was lovely, and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unlike everywhere else in Cancun, they never tried to squeeze every possible peso out of us. Just the opposite. Overall, though, it felt more like a 4-star resort than a 5-star resort.

Unfortunately, after a few days of beautiful blue water, the sargassum seaweed rolled in and kept us out of the water for most of the trip. The staff did a good job keeping the beach clean, but the water is literally brown and very uninviting. This isn't the fault of the hotel, just an issue across the Caribbean. Between this and the constant pressure to spend more in restaurants outside the hotel, I'm not sure I'll return to Cancun again. If you go, this hotel is a great option. I'll add that the included breakfast was good, but it didn't change from day to day, so it got quite tiring. We also largely avoided eating other meals at the hotel, as there were better options just a short taxi ride away (although, as I wrote, those weren't ideal either).
