I will definitly stay here again

I have stayed at this hotel several times already. The whole complex is very well maintained, and the rooms are always very clean. The beach is only about a 5-minute walk away, which is very convenient. All the staff were extremely friendly – especially Ana at the reception, who was always very helpful and welcoming.

Very good value for money 😎

Spacious and clean room with a beautiful shared lounge. Close to the beach and many cafes and restaurant. Very amazing and friendly staff especially receptionist Anna.

Mostly the AC, honestly they were kinda brand new but too small for open space villas and i felt its hot almost everyday 🙆🏻‍♂️

Everything we needed for a 6 day stay.

Great location close to Batu Bolong beach, restaurants and bars. Super comfy bed with great aircon, we stayed in a deluxe room with kitchen and living room which was very spacious. Smart TV with good wifi so could watch Netflix when one of us had a bit of Bali belly. Pools and gardens were clean and well presented. Our room was down the back of the property which was quiet and away from the street noise - I’d request a room down the back too if you’re a light sleeper or prefer to sleep early on weekends.

The only minor issues were not the best water pressure in the shower, and when we specifically requested a room clean at a time we were going to be out and this was not done when we got back so we had to vacate the room again later for the clean. Also there was a bad smell coming up from the drains in the bathroom periodically but I don’t think this unique to this property and is the same across Canggu. The bathroom was also a bit poky in its design and not great natural light, but these are very minor issues and I’d definitely recommend this property.

The bed was extremely comfy, the staff were very attentive. Ana who checked us in and out was so friendly and informative. The main pool was always kept very clean, and very close to all shops and restaurants.

We couldn’t use the pool table at night which was disappointing and one of the pools was under maintenance which was a let down. Also not that many sunbeds for how many people were there.

Anna (receptionist) was fantastic during my stay..she, and all the staff are lovely and attentive.

Pool was nice, rooms were big and beds were pretty comfy.

4 nights of no sleep

We liked the location and the pool. The staff were polite as well and bed was comfortable.

This is by far the worst place we have stayed in for years. We were allocated Room 3 a Superior Room that ibpaid extra for. Only this room is directly facing the busy noisey street. There is a pub next door that are open until 6am so every night all we heard was shouting/swearing/fighting and then constant music and noise. We informed staff 3 times in our 4 night stay that the room is too noisy however we're not once offered to be moved elsewhere. What really irritates us is that we paid extra for this and I had I just taken the cheaper room it would have been by the pool and much quieter. Under no circumstances would I ever recommend staying in that room. I would even go so far as getting written confirmation that the room you book is well away from the road. 4 nights of zero sleep really was not a good start to our holiday. We were also not informed that there was no fridge until we asked to use the staff fridge. They said they will bring a mini fridge but that space is tight so they don't have it in there. Avoid this room at all costs.

Great place to stay for solo travel

I had a great stay at D’djabu traveling solo. It’s located in the middle of a ton of great restaurants and shops and walking distance to the beach. I loved my spacious room and the beautiful pool. I was super comfortable there and staff was super nice (shoutout to Ana!)

Nice sized room and fantastic swimming pool.

The room was very spacious and the shower was very nice. We loved the shared swimming pool. Very well looked after.

I was surprised that there was no tea and coffee within the room and no fridge. Only bottles of water. The bed was too soft for me and I had trouble sleep. I needed the air conditioning on but the light from it was very bright. I’m a sensitive sleeper. This is more of a personal thing anyway so I don’t blame the the place :)

Easy ,relaxing stay close to surf and bars !

The service ,they went above and beyond ! Anna was fantastic 👏 👌 always smiling 😃 happy and so helpful ! The location was great 👍 near the beach ! There were two pools with a lovely garden, flowers and birds! You can go left to shops or right to the Lawn , Mexicola and Old Man's ,or Sand bar .! Very relaxing !🦋🌺🧘‍♀️

i wont stay there again

Location, i

I was given a Villa near the road and it was so so noisy that all night I could not sleep. No hand towels. Bathroom extremely poorly lit, specially shower. All bathroom attachments like shower handle, bathtub very old and lose. Next day when i complained they had more rooms/Villa and they changed for me but took extra money...ridiculous.

Too noisy at night. Our room was at the front of the property so sleeping was a problem. Don’t stay here is you go to bed before 11 and be prepared to be woken all night with bikes, horns and shouting all night

The most convenient location and great stay

The location of this hotel was extremely convenient and added great value to our stay. It was within walking distance to the beach—perfect for watching the sunset and close to markets, restaurants, and other amenities. We arrived early and appreciated being able to leave our bags at the front desk and use the pool facilities while waiting for check-in. Despite being just off the busy main road, the property was very peaceful and quiet. There were two large pools on site, both surrounded by plenty of loungers and daybeds, making it easy to relax and unwind. Our room included access to a shared common space with couches, a TV, and a kitchen. This was a great bonus, especially since our individual room didn’t have a fridge. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay, always ready to help with anything we needed.

The kitchen in the shared space was sparsely stocked and did need some attention, as a few of the drawers were broken and difficult to open.

Lovely room and comfortable bed. Had all the facilities you would want and the staff were all really welcoming and helpful. Good location close to lots of restaurants and bars but also a nice pool to relax by if you’re wanting a chill day.

Our room was at the front of the property by the main road so was fairly noisy at night BUT that’s something you deal with for being in a prime location. It didn’t negatively affect our stay at all you just might want some ear plugs.

Friendly staff, great location, good value for money. Awesome pools, there are x2 of these large pools, with lounges. The rooms are also large.

Djabu is a well located place to stay in Canggu, with pleasant staff and surroundings.

Having stayed at this property previously, I like the location. It is an easy walk to everything I needed. The pools are a good size and the rooms and gardens are clean & tidy. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Ana at Reception was very welcoming.

The dark timber thatched roof attracts mosquitoes, that I could clearly see in the room. I borrowed some mosquito spray from Reception, however mosquito spray in Bali is they type where you need to spray and leave the room for 15 minutes, so possibly quite toxic. Therefore I had to sleep with DEET mosquito spray on my body. The solution may be that the staff spray the room after cleaning and before new guest arrivals to help clear the room of mosquitoes.

Because you share a living area with anyone they can leave the doors open and mosquitoes get in. Also cleaners used our cupboards in the living area as a store and came in and out all the time with the door open and turned off AC when we wanted it left in

Excellent location! Can't stress this enough! Hannah made our stay 10x better- and i mean it. We got in and she was kind enough to help us with a day trip planning and coordination as well. What a blessing- it felt like meeting a friend! All my requests in the messages we accommodated- and a 3 min walk from the beach and the busiest street in Canggu which is very chaotic so best to stay close. Didn't have to take a grab bike to anywhere during our stay - 10/10

There was a rat in my room.

perfect location

initially said i could move rooms or hotels as i refused to accept staying there they offered to fill the rat hole up i still refused to stay. They then offered another hotel of which then proceeded to tell me it was unvailable stood my ground as was still saying available on the website eventually i was reluctantly moved.

Confortable and beautiful right at the center of Canggu

It’s a beautiful hotel with all you need to have a peaceful and comfortable stay, just a few steps the best part of Canggu. The room was super comfortable and the bathtub is a plus. Highly recommended.

If you stay at one of the front rooms facing the street, it can get a bit noisy at night. Fortunately, the noise stops at around midnight.

Great hotel in a great location! Clean and tidy with friendly staff!

We didn’t get fresh towels each day which was a tad disappointing! There was also construction work happening behind the hotel which started around 7am each day so not ideal for a relaxing break but no fault of the hotel! As for evenings noise, there wasn’t any except from a few hours on Friday night with a neighbouring hotel having a disco but this was over by 10.30pm so didn’t affect us!
