It was convenient as I only needed to stay a night and cheap for what I paid for. Staff were super helpful and friendly

Tucked away in the heart of Canguu would stay again

Location is great a short walk down an alley but away from all noise of traffic! Pool and garden area was lovely. Rooms were spacious and private bathroom great and modern. There is a small kitchen that is available to use - this was very helpful. Staff were great and so friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional

Amazing location, walking distance to a lot of bars and restaurants and the beach however we rented a scooter from them which made things even easier! Comfortable beds and lovely pool to cool off in.

There was a lot of mosquitos due to the pool and the sliding doors to our room had a small gap in it. The first night there was so many in our room we were kept up but the nights following we made sure to keep our door tightly shut and sprayed it with repellent and didn’t have the same problem again!

I absolutely love this property. While staying a month in Bali, I came back to this hotel since I had such a great time my first visit. It is a hidden gem, off the main road so quiet, but still walking distance to Canggu/Old Man's beach. Great wi-fi for working, chill vibes, only a small number of rooms.

It was great to stay in Gong Vanka Guest House. The location is amazing, easy to reach the coast for walks, many cafes/ restaurants in 5-10 minutes by foot. I liked the small path that led to the guest house. Located away from the main roads this guest house is perfect for staying in a calm place with an easy access to the center of the district

It seems that next to the guest house the reconstruction has been started so it could be a bit noisy in daytime

I booked this place because one of my friend recommended me and it was better than expected. Everything was perfect, the pool was beautiful and every single corner of this place has a special touch. The staff was very friendly and they recommended me drivers to move around. Walking distance for restaurantes and from the beach. I would definetely come back

there were ants in our room. The rooms had an really disgusting smell. For nearly a whole day we had no power. A lot of noises around the building such as construction noise. Just one window with pool view everyone could look inside our room, if you want some privacy you sit in the dark, literally, without power. The bathroom was okay but like always in Bali.

Gorgeous Oasis with friendly staff and large rooms

The garden and pool area was beautiful to gaze onto from my bedroom. I really enjoyed the large glass doors in my room so I could see the beautiful colors outside.

Canggu itself was not a place I'd like to return to, but I would return to the hotel! I also didn't like the shower which got everything wet, but that's just the standard in Indonesia so sometimes travelers just have to adjust.

I loved this little slice of heaven. To be honest when I booked it it seemed a little pricey for a basic place, but when you look at what is available nearby it is very very well priced and really has nothing to fault. you’re not going to a 5 star hotel but you are going to a place with a beautiful quite garden, amazing staff, good wifi, comfy bed and great shower and of course a very, very, very good location. I will 1000% be back next time I’m in Canggu

Good

The location is good very near to Batu Belong beach. Please note that at the moment there is a construction site between the hotel and the beach, so expect to walk 500mts down a road with trucks and dirt. The hotel itself is nice with good room size and a nice pool.

In my room, there was a funny smell (the room next to the reception). This bothered me as I could not detect or do something about . There was no other room available to changethe source. The staff was nice however not so super friendly as in other places in Bali. The guest house offers no breakfast.
