Good place in Canggu

The location is great, walking distance from Canggu beach, one of the most crowded, dynamic and effervescent area in Canggu. Garden and pool included and shops, restaurants, coffees very close by. Made, the owner,.is a great person, very responsive and ready to help with whatever you need. The room was big and bright, however i stayed in the new building, so different people may have different view and experience depending where they are acomodated.

Construction works that other people were talking about in their reviews were still on when I arrived, but once they stopped everything was quiet and peaceful.

Nice place to stay for the night.

The room is cozy and has place to put stuff (closet ...). The AC is working nice. The bathroom has stuff you need, including soap and shampoo.

You do not know where is the reception so you are constantly roaming around the facilities, looking for staff to get/return the keys of the room.

The location of the property. It is close to the party places in Canggu and near to the road.

I did not like how there is no clear sign of where the reception is, it is a bit confusing where to get and drop off the keys ...

Avoid - construction undergoing

There’s a construction going on there that causes a lot of noise and no one tells you about it until you get there. They woke me up everyday at 8 am in the morning.

Pics on website is deceiving. Not what we expected. Establishment is too small and cramped. Construction work taking place and noisy. Communal kitchen not in good order. Fridge too small to cater for all the guest.

Really great location close to the beach, with lots of food and shopping around.

Water takes a moment to pump, toilet starts to smell after 2 days of stay (there was so daily cleaning). Room is not so great maintained, with cracks on the walls etc. But considering the great price, this is understandable.

Peaceful atmosphere and nice swimming pool. Friendly and helpful staff. It's only a 5-10 min walk from the beach and there's plenty of restaurants and shops around.

Lovely room, nice pool area and refillable water station, large bed and spacious room, modern bathroom. A lovely lady helped my boyfriend iron his shirt aswell!

It was a good stay.

The location! And the bathroom was nice and thats important to me as a traveler. Plus points as well that they have a water dispenser in the shared kitchen, so you can refill your water jugs.

The floor had stains in them but I know it wasn’t dirty it just stained and can’t be removed. But you really get your money’s worth.

great location, so close to everything you needed and the beach was just a short walk. the room was clean and comfortable. Having blackout curtains was a real bonus. Made was a great host and made the stay easy. he was always reachable to answer questions we had

Very good location, comfortable bed and strong shower.

Bedroom smells humidity and it needs renovation. Dirty grout in the bathroom and it’s not very clean. Look old and dirty. They only clean the bedroom and bathroom in your third day of stay ( 3 in 3 days). Bedroom and bathroom floor can get very filthy. Lots of mosquitos. Nothing really nice about the place, just a room to sleep. Bedroom is NOT in front of the pool. Actually there is no pool. You can use the pool of the guesthouse next door ( same owner I think). I have stayed in hotels in Bali same price or cheaper and a lot nicer than this one. Not sure where all those great reviews came from to be honest.

Great location.

Central location, easy to walk to the beach and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful with issues that we had. Air conditioning very good. Overall a good price for a good location.

The cleanliness could be better; the towels were very old and stained, along with the bedding. The bathroom was grimy and rusty, and the shower didn’t really work. The doors also felt very unsafe, big gaps between doors and door frame, and balcony doors could be slid open even though they were locked!

not like the pictures, poorly maintained and not clean

the location was in a good place nearby to lots of shops and restaurants there was access to a pool in the hotel next door the Wi-Fi was ok around 15-20mbs

the cleanliness was really not good. I barely slept the first night as everything just felt really gross. the bathroom was very grimy, the walls all looked like they needed to be scrubbed and around the sink was lots of hair and dirt. the shower was completely rusted and I didn’t want to stand in the bathroom without flip flops on. the bed felt damp, the duvet was smelly. the pillows were just outrageous (enough that I spoke to the owner and we got new ones) they were full of stains and completely yellow. frankly it was just offensive that they would put guests in there and be happy with that. the walls of the room were covered in stains and dirty, lots of huge cracks in walls with paint flaking off from damp - it does not look like the picture at all. The whole place looked like the owner did not care. the garden was overgrown. The entrance to the hostel was full of junk (it had us worried before we even went into the room). there were dangerous rusty nails poking out of the walls on the staircase going up to the balcony rooms (if that scratched you you’d need a tetanus jab) on the last day the air conditioner broke so we woke up boiling hot. we were so desperate to leave (we would have left earlier but couldn’t at that point and had to stay) so disappointed to have stayed here one of the worst guesthouses we have encountered in 2 months of travelling in Bali.

The location is a 10/10: Super close to the beach and all the bars and restaurants well known in Canggu. The room was spacious and clean. Wifi was fast (which is not always the case in Bali) and the staff was always really kind and helpful.

You don't get more central than this. Everything on your doorstep.

Location was amazing, right in the heart of Batu Bolong and walking distance to the beach. Made and his family welcomed us with open arms. Helped in every way they could from Airport collection to laundry and even helped us move out! Amazing choice for your travels through Canggu.

Nothing- everything was available if you needed it, and the management were easy to contact!
